I've been here twice so far and looking forward to coming back since it's a quick drive from Queens. Both times I've dined here we got the calamari. It's honestly the best I've had recently. We generally order 2 kinds (one drenched in marinara and one with sauce on the side : (either spicy marinara or a vodka sauce). I think the perfect lunch here is a big plate of calamari and their Caesar salad. Their dressing is house made and it's perfection. They also have a full menu with pasta (great options) and plenty of pizza options. My husband tried a grandma slice and he definitely liked it. I ended up getting a linguini entree the first time I dined here and it was quite delicious. Service was fine, it's definitely a very busy spot to eat during the weekend. As for the seating, they have plenty of room for large groups, those looking to have a drink at the bar, or someone coming in to grab a slice. Definitely a place with lots of options. It's definitely a spot I look forward coming back to.

Spacious and beautiful.

The party I had on 7/31 went great! Enrique and Carlos worked like a well oiled machine! The food was delicious and plentiful, the service was top notch and the atmosphere was perfect. From planning to execution there was not a single complaint. Everyone that attended has raved about the event. The decorations that are in the party room are suitable for any event and they allow you to put up your own. I highly recommend Angelina's for your next party. I promise, you won't be disappointed.

I was in the mood for some good ol Italian food so I couldn't wait to try this restaurant. When I arrived I parked on the street nearby. I walked in and was greeted. I sat at the bar and Christine served me and was nice. I ordered: - red wine - Shrimp portobello - Rigatoni Bolognese - Baked cheese ravioli - Chocolate Mousse The food was really good. I really enjoyed the Rigatoni Bolognese the most followed by the dessert. Everything was flavorful and good. All in all I had a good experience.

Angelinas is serving up some of the best family style Italian dishes that I have had in a while. The inside is SO cute. The mural on the wall is so beautiful. I also love the table cloths. The staff was so nice. It's a really hard choice between my favorites. I was SO excited to come to try the gnocchi and it exceeded every expectation... BUT once he hit me with the francese sauce on the Verde....... It may have been game over. Food ordered: Personal margarita pizza Chicken Parmigiana Alla Vodka Chicken Verde topped with francese Gnocchi with Bolognese sauce

Absolute Gem of a restaurant! My son wanted Italian for his birthday dinner and we decided to give Angelina's a shot- and boy are we glad we did! The restaurant is nicely decorated for the holidays- very clean and nicely kept. There's a pizzeria in the front as well as full bar. The staff is so pleasant especially our busboy Carlos- such a polite and nice guy! We also had a chance to chat with the owner she was super sweet too! Food- we started with baked clams and the crispy calamari salad- this was my favorite! For entrees we ordered penne with butter, grilled chicken and fries, chicken brushetta - came with a pasta dish- I ordered the penne with pesto, and linguini with white clam sauce. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious- the portions are plentiful - we had enough to take home. We ended our meal with a cannoli that had a candle to sing happy birthday to my son! Truly cannot say enough good things about this place- even the bread basket was delicious ! While walking out we noticed they have happy hour from 2-6 during the week- can't wait to come back!!!

Happened to be in the Lynbrook area this afternoon for a movie , we wanted to grab a bite before the movie and originally planned on going to prime down the road but they were closed and I'm happy they were because I wouldn't have stumbled on this gem ! We sat in the back in a booth, super spacious and not those tight uncomfortable booths some places have. Our waitress was Ashley and she was really sweet and accommodating . We ordered : vodka slice , grandma slice, chicken parm and rigatoni Florentine. Everything was good but my absolute fave was the rigatoni Florentine and the Caesar salad . Everything was fresh , service was perfect and the prices were very reasonable .

Not my first time here but there was just so much going on around me that it was difficult to focus on the food portion of the visit. Street parking was fairly easy here and just a short walk back to the restaurant. In the middle of this vibrant restaurant with people speaking, laughing and really enjoying themselves, I get to give a speech. The funny part here was that when I got up to speak, someone having dinner gets up and says: "I know you." Appetizers came out family style. Calamari, salad, and pasta. All very good and very fresh. The serving staff did a great job supporting this large crowd. I also appreciate that what needed to be hot, was hot and what needed to be cool was just that. My main meal consisted of Chicken Francaise which was excellent. Thin tatsy-fresh pieces of chicken with a very tasty francaise sauce. PLenty of food here... No one goes home hungry. Happy to come here, very happy to eat hear and enjoy myself in a very fun family restaurant. The team did an amazing job here and needs to be recognized for all their hard work. Additionally, they will give you a tray of bruschetta, with one piece per person. They also leave a bottle of their own olive oil on the table. During my latest visit, I enjoyed a glass of chianti, their stuffed zucchini flowers, and a risotto special. There are SO MANY menu choices. I highly recommend going with a few people and all ordering something different, that way you have a tour of their impressive menu. They do not have a social media presence, but they do have a website that they keep updated. They are also "Dining Deal Foodie" approved, because they offer a lunch special for $21.95, which includes 3 courses AND coffee, tea, espresso, or cappuccino. WOW!

The Chef's Table in Lynbrook was a really impressive experience from start to finish…read more It's tucked away on Watkins Street just off Merrick Road, so it definitely has that true hidden gem feel. The restaurant is warm, comfortable and a little more upscale without feeling stuffy. White tablecloths, great service and very reasonable prices. The service deserves a mention on its own because everyone was incredibly attentive, friendly and genuinely seemed to care about making sure we had a great experience. I started with an Espresso Martini, which was honestly one of the best I've had, followed by a Lychee Martini that was also excellent. For food, the Calamari con Gamberi was a standout for me. I actually prefer calamari braised like this instead of breaded, and theirs was tender and full of flavor with shrimp, cherry peppers, white beans and tomato sauce. The Chef's Table Salad with shrimp was super fresh and light. The goat cheese, pear, prosciutto, pistachios and lemon thyme dressing all worked really well together without the dressing overpowering anything. The Lobster & Crab Ravioli was excellent and that saffron cream sauce was the star. I can absolutely see why this is one of their best sellers. I also tried the Pollo alla Franca with Bell & Evans organic chicken, prosciutto, spinach, artichokes, mozzarella and Port wine mushroom sauce. Rich, flavorful and very well executed. Even though I'm normally not a big dessert person, they make all of their desserts in-house, so I had to try a few. The flourless chocolate cake, warm apple tart and Belgian chocolate mousse were all excellent, especially that mousse -- very rich with a strong Belgian chocolate flavor. This was my first time here, but definitely not my last. Great Italian food, excellent cocktails, fantastic service and a true neighborhood hidden gem. Highly recommend.

Unfortunately the caprese salad and eggplant balls fell short. Will go back again for light bites

Unfortunately, Selita's failed with the first impression. We walked past a very small bar and into the dining room, which had a musty smell. The green walls, red leather tufted seats, and mirrors on the walls gave the place a very dated, old-fashioned feel. Since it was our first time there, we decided to play it safe and just order a couple of appetizers. We had the grilled octopus and the eggplant Parmigiana. The eggplant Parmigiana was tasty, but we would not consider it an authentic Italian dish. The grilled octopus, on the other hand, was a completely different story. It was incredibly tough and chewy - honestly, it was like eating a garden hose. It really seemed as though it had been cooked ahead of time and then reheated. When we left, my wife looked at me and said, "We're never coming back here again." Unfortunately, I had to agree. That's really a shame because we genuinely wanted to like Selita's. It's close to home, and we were hoping to find a new local favorite. Unfortunately, that was not the case. I suppose that's the chance you take when trying a new restaurant. Sometimes you find a gem, and sometimes you don't. Unfortunately, Selita's was a "swing and a miss" for us.

We came in on a Friday night and had a great time. The vibe and decor is Tuscan with lots of brick and wood around giving a warm feeling. Adding to the warm feeling was the friendly staff - the hostess gave us a 4 top despite us only being 2. They must have knew how much food we were going to order haha. We were given bread with an interesting spread that was tasty, but still not sure what it was exactly. Ordered some red wines. We looked over the menu to decide on some dishes to share. Here's the run down: CARCIOFO BRASATE CON BURRATA BRAISED BABY ARTICHOKES, WITH PISTACHIO PESTO AND BURRATA This was really enjoyable and with creamy burrata and delicious pistachio pesto that was perfect with the tender baby artichokes PARMIGIANA DI MELANZANA Eggplant meatballs were so good with so much flavor - didn't miss the meat at all. Fantastic sauce with this as well. BIETOLA & FUNGHI salad ROASTED RED BEET, MARINATED PORTOBELLO MUSHROOMS, ORGANIC BABY ARUGULA, GOAT CHEESE, WHITE BALSAMIC VINEGAR DRESSING The presentation of this dish was impressive with circles of beets acting as bed for the salad. It was different from the usual chunks of beets in most salads. I enjoyed this salad SPAGHETTI AL LIMONE IMPORTED ORGANIC SPAGHETTI, MEYER LEMON, PARMIGGIANO, FRESH BASIL We asked the kitchen to split this dish for us and they accommodated. The cheesy lemony pasta was perfect and paired well with spicy shrimp dish we ordered. GAMBERI UBRIACATI WILD BLUE SHRIMP, SWEET CHERRY TOMATOES, PANCETTA, CORN, CRISPY BREAD, RED PEPPER FLAKES These shrimps were really incredibly tasty - I usually don't order shrimp dishes in restaurants because they usually give a bit of chlorinated taste. Not here. The sauce was spicy with the pancetta and corn adding sweetness. For dessert we shared the brownie topped with pistachio gelato. The brownie was unremarkable, but the gelato was good. The espressos were perfectly made. The place was busy all night with a few open tables - the service encouraged us to sit allowing us to really enjoy our night. A fantastic experience.
