I made an appointment on wed for a Friday morning time. They booked me but later texted me I had to Venmo $20 as a deposit to keep my appointment. While I said I was not comfortable venmoing a deposit that I might not ever get back they just texted me my appointment was canceled and had extremely rude customer service. I was Going to show up and be a good paying customer but because of their ridiculous policy now I will just go to any other of the 1000s of salons in the area that don't require me sending random Venmo payments. There has two be at least 4 other nail salons near downtown Natick that offer your typical quick mani/pedi. I like Krysten's above the others for several reasons: price, it's clean, and no pressure selling. I go in for a pedicure and am not upselled into having a manicure. I have been going to Krysten's Nail Salon ever since I moved out of Boston and into Natick (about 5 years ago) and love it there. I get pedicures probably every four weeks and Angie has become my favorite technician and I request her each time I go - she's friendly, precise and the pedicure lasts for weeks! The salon itself is clean, all the tools they used are in sterilized bags which is always nice to see and I seem to always be able to get a walk-in appointment or only need to wait 15-20 minutes max. They're open on Sundays and have later hours during the week which is great for someone like myself who travels for work a lot and works long hours and I never know when I'll be able to sneak a pedicure in. Its not a "spa" experience, but its a great pedicure and at $28 you can't beat the price and service. Ask for Angie!! read more

Just tried this place out as I shop around for my new go-to place. As others have said, the place is super clean. I was greeted by the owner's 6-year old daughter, who was very friendly. She spent most of the rest of my visit speaking with her grandmother, (in Vietnamese, she informed me). For a no frills, $12 manicure, I was pleased. She spent a good half hour on my nails, paying closer attention to my cuticles than most others have. My index fingernail tends to be shorter than the rest, so after a quick assessment, she offered to file my other nails to match and followed my natural nail shape, which tends to be somewhat squared. The hand massage was most welcome after a long week at the computer. I picked Essie "laps of luxury", a french blue-ish shade of grey, which -- if attempted on my own -- would normally turn out streaky, clumpy, or full of finger prints. She did a beautiful job with two even coats. As they are a quick walk from my home, I will likely be back again! read more

Clean, bright and pleasant. The instruments were in sealed bags and I could see several containers of bleachy scrub for the pedi chairs - Yeah! For $28 it is an excellent pedicure for this area and they take credit cards, and you can put the tip on the card. Every pedi tub seat was filled in the early afternoon which is a good sign. No attitude for walk ins and a good length of time for the service. I have had the 12 minute pedicure at other places in town when more people walk in. I will be back and tell my friends! read more

I've been going here for mani's and pedi's since the day it opened, and Krysten and Angie are the best. For $28, you can get a relaxing, spa pedicure, complete with leg massage and minty sugar scrub so you can show off those sexy legs. Mani's are $12, which is a great price as well. The place is small, but new and clean. I work a few miles from here and was desperate to do something relaxing and pleasant on my lunch hour. I did not have to wait to get a pedicure which is nice hen you're kinda sorta in a rush. However, the pedicure itself was sllloooww and the service was a little iffy. I felt like I was "inconveniencing" the woman and at the end of almost an hour and a half, I could see nail polish all over my toes and my nails looked uneven and untrimmed. Ugh I was sooooo happy to have found this last year as it is a three minute walk from my house ! I have had six or seven mani pedis here and only the ones with the lovely Angie were good . There is an older woman who doesn't speak and is very rough and actually scalded my feet when she asked me to put them in the water and it was tooo hot ! They hurt and were sensitive in the shower for at least three days after. Then there is poor Krysten. She looks bored exhausted OR like she has taken one too many xanax and not at all happy that you have come in. She did my pedicure about a month ago and it looked good . Tho the entire time she was talking in her Language to the older woman and never said two words to either me or her other customer - A couple days after the pedicure my big toes started to itch like crazy .. after a week I couldn't take it anymore so I took the polish off and LO AND BEHOLD I have A TOE NAIL FUNGUS!!! I have had mani pedis for at least thirty years and have never ever had any kind of problem ! Now I know this can happen at the best of places but it happened here and that's why I'm writing this. Ps If you ever do get a fungus or nail infection - VICKS VAPOR RUB all over it for a week and now mine is very nearly cleared up ! Ugh read more

They took me in for an appointment a hour before closing! They were really nice but my pedicure seemed rush. They didn't spend a lot of time scrubbing my feet or massaging my legs. Over all my nails came out really nice! If you need a quick pedicure this is your place! read more

They have 2 huge "Open Sunday" signs in the window. Their hours (posted on the door) say that they're open 10:00-5:00 on Sunday's. I arrived at 10:10 on Sunday and they were closed. No sign/note on the door with a reason why. Won't go back. read more

I went to Krysten's for just a regular manicure using the long lasting polish. Two days later, four of my nails are chipped and I am not happy. I payed extra money for the long lasting polish and my nails haven't even made it a week. Maybe the polish was old or something, but I'm still kind of annoyed that my manicure hasn't lasted as long as it should. Krysten, herself, is very sweet and does a good job. But, I ended up with an older lady who gave me a gel manicure that started chipping 48 hours later. When I went back in to have just the color redone, I ended up with the same woman who was incredible unprofessional and terribly rude. After a super awkward argument, she finally redid the work but spent the entire time talking to herself about me. She even filed my nails so hard that she cut my skin and I had to ask for someone else. Unfortunately, I will never go back there. Ever. (The 1 star is for Krysten being so nice, but she still sat there and watched all of this happen.) read more

I had been going to a salon in Framingham for over 2 years until my nail guy left the salon for a major career advancement. I have been on the almighty search for a good nail salon in the area. I have found that in Kysten's in downtown Natick. This is the 2nd time I've been to this salon. I went into Krysten's as a walk in for a mani/pedi yesterday and was told about a half hour wait. 10 minutes later, I was sitting in the pedi chair soaking my feet in very nice very warm water. I told Angie (the tech) that I had foot surgery 2 months ago and that she had to be careful massaging my right foot. That wasn't a problem. I admittedly have ugly feet (self-proclaimed as hooves lol) and the only way to make them pretty is a good pedicure. Angie took good care of that. I had also brought my own polish and that was fine, too. She trimmed my nails, sloughed my feet, creamed and massaged my legs to perfection; all the while as I sat in a WONDERFUL massage chair just relaxing. I almost fell asleep I was so relaxed. Her polishing technique is almost flawless (very little correction needed). Off to the manicure table. With the same care, my hands were treated to a great manicure. My nails are natural and very long. Angie told me she loved polishing long nails. I told her that I had been a manicurist in a past life, was very particular but that I also would take good care of her with the tip. We had good conversation about nails, polish, etc and when she was all done, my hands were perfect. She did ask that I pay before she began to polish which I have found to be the standard in the industry and completely understandable as you dont want to smudge polish. The price is more than right at $40. for mani/pedi. In some salons (usually more expensive), they do mani/pedi in less than an hour which I feel isn't enough time to get it done properly. An hour and 45 minutes later, I walked out with soft, perfectly polished FEET (no longer hooves) and hands. I gave Angie an VERY generous tip and she asked me if I was sure about the tip amount. Anyone that puts that much work into my feet definitely deserves a great tip. I will definitely be going back to see Angie again (and again and again). read more

I was referred to Krystens by a friend. I work in Framingham and live in Marlborough and was looking for a place in the area and I figured I would go a little out of my way since its hard to find a good salon. Krysten did my nails; she's very sweet even tho kind of hard to understand. I had a gel manicure; she was very helpful; she even put different polish colors on my nails so I could see which I liked best. I've never had anyone offer me that. The place was very clean, not too crowded, it was 4:00 on a Wed. She did a wonderful job; it was $25 for the manicure which is reasonable. And they accept credit cards and she let me put the tip on it even tho the sign says they prefer you don't. The only con was that she kind of double booked; another customer came in like 10 min after I got there and I felt rushed; the other customer was impatient and I know that was a big part of it, she was very rude but I think krysten could have scheduled her a little later. She kept having to jump up and down and switch chairs to alternate between me and Ms. Snooty. Overall tho I recommend Krystens; the important thing is that it's clean and she does a great job. read more

I've tried several nail salons in the area - I'm a pedi fan - and none are as good as Krysten's for value and quality. They're always bus, yet they've been able to fit me in on short notice (i.e., same day call). Price and durability of the pedicure is great, and salon is very clean. Hours are terrific - both Sunday and early evening hours convenient. Once I was running late, and they stayed open to do the full pedicure even though they had closed.
