This company is the primary plumber of our condos and town houses community, but their service is just not where it needs to be. We keep calling them about repetitive leaks on pipes they keep repairing, seems like they are in the business of making sure they keep things not properly repaired in order to guaranty themselves a minimum amount of work to be performed every month at our location. Not to mention that their prices are extremely high, which I would not complain about if the quality of work was there. Had a toilet backup on me in the middle of the night and called Angel Plumbers. It was really late and i didn't think anyone would answer but they did and got a plumber out to me within 60 min. They go try mainline all cleared up and showed me that I have a problem with my mainline and needed to get it repaired. Those darn roots got into my pipe a broke right through. Richardo the nice tech gave me a few options on what needed to be done and it sounded reasonable so the fallowing day they came back and did a fantastic job fixing my main sewer line. I have had the worst experience EVER with Angel plumbing....I never write reviews and I have remained patient for months, but ultimately I have to say something. They have come for 3 months saying they fixed my problem with the hot water unit and every time they leave and it is not working again. I call them to ask for answers, they say they will get back to me, and never call. Again for 3 months, I have been patient, let someone come back, look at it and say it is fixed. But it is not and now I need to have a new come in and take over, after I have paid Angel plumbing for months.... The person who answers the phone has absolutely no idea what he is talking about and could not be less helpful. I would give 0 stars if I could. read more

Don't look past ALL of the bad reviews about them - because they're true. Our HOA uses Angel so we decided it couldn't hurt to call them. They no-showed my original appointment time because "something more important" (verbatim) came up - but it didn't warrant a phone call from them to let me know that. Or that they were still planning to come, just 3-4 hours later. I had to call and ask if they're still planning to come and they couldn't have cared less that I left work to come home and wait for them. We rescheduled to later in the day and when they no-showed AGAIN I called them to cancel. No surprise whoever answered gave me a rude reply and hung up. I spoke with Santiago....the OWNER a real gem. After fleecing my 85 year old mother out of $850.00 for damage that was caused by his company he told her, " the only way to clear the blockage is to snake it from the waste and overflow of the tub" Risky...sending the large snake down the waste and overflow of an old condo unit and just as predicted ....it ripped up the old waste and overflow....He charged $850.00 because it's not covered by the association?????? Get up on the roof and don't be lazy....." But no....this is how he insisted on doing it ....I asked about going up to the roof and doing it through the vent and I was spoken to as if I was a moron. I am not... I am an architect! It sounded like I was dealing with Cheech when he was in up in smoke...funny at the time but not when my mom is being taken advantage of.... SO Santiago, had the stones to say this........."HEY DUDE...IT'S NOT LIKE SHE'S SENILE OR ANYTHING" I won't repeat what I said to him and what I called him as I am embarrassed as to how the conversation degraded so quickly.... This is my first review for Angel Plumbers, but my fourth time working with them, specifically Santiago. After my initial call to explain my need, the office contacted me a couple of hours later to apologize for Santiago's delay due to an emergency at another location. Damien was courteous and provided another time window which worked. My experience with Santiago has always been outstanding and yesterday was no different as he arrived a little early (within the updated window) ready to go. He quickly assessed the issue and clearly articulated the source of the problem as we walked through the maze of shared pipes in my underground garage shared with ten other homeowners. As in the past, his explanation was thorough and appreciated as he educated me on what to look out for with regard to future leaks. I am grateful to Santiago and Angel Plumbers as they do a stellar job of resolving issues and providing peace of mind, and at the end of the day, isn't that what you really want from a 5-star plumber! read more

Would NEVER recommend Angel Plumbing. Have had three terrible experiences: 1) Left kitchen pipe open when replacing and entire kitchen was flooded; had to have entire floor replaced 2) Did not repair wall after ripping it open to fix pipes under kitchen sink; allowed entry of roaches that had to be exterminated; had to have walls fixed on our own 3) When repairing pipes for one area of condo complex, turned off water to our unit with NO NOTICE; asked for water to be turned back on for 15 minutes to finish getting ready for work and they refused. Even though they turned water off and then waited for 15 minutes for homeowner to move their car so work could be done. RUDE - INCONSIDERATE - JUST NOT THAT GOOD. read more

I haven't used their services but I have been out walking my dog on the street and the person driving their truck stop in traffic in order to whistle at me through their window. You never really know just how much you love a plumber until you need one. It's always one of those frightening moments of how much and how bad and will they be taking my life savings! Rest assured, not the case here. They showed up quickly, were nothing but kind, this is big with a hysterical woman who has a household of girls and the toilets and showers are as essential as makeup to a kardashian! They explained the situation said they would do everything to prevent the costly and of course most intrusive ways of fixing first. My luck, based on right now on my divorce and choice in men, made me figure it would be worse case scenario. The easy way was not to be had, however, I was secure in that it was done correctly and in the long term professionally! They had this done in basically a day, although thanks to my estranged husbands antics we were without toilets and plumbing for three days! The price?? Incredibly reasonable! No complaints at all. A+++ HANDS DOWN AWESOME! We've used Angel Plumbers 2 times at the house, once to fix a pinhole leak from an old pipe running to the house that exploded on a Sunday afternoon. Their awesome guys walked me through shutting off the water over the phone by taking pictures with my camera phone. Then there was a guy here in 20 minutes to fix it. Next was a clogged drain that was going bad--awesome service. THEN tonight at 8:45 pm on the 4th of July we were running to get a ladder to see the fireworks and my husband knocked a garden hose line off of the irrigation system and water was shooting up about 6 feet into the air. Called Angel, they picked up, and walked me through taking pictures of the gusher. Then they walked me through turning off the water to irrigation line from a box in the ground in front of the house. Had an upstairs bathtub leak into the walls downstairs. Santiago came out and gave me a very competitive estimate. He worked with the insurance company to handle the claim process, which made my life easier. Within a couple of hours, the crew arrived, set up the work area, removed all of the damaged drywall etc., and had the faulty drain replaced so we could use the tub again. The next day they handled mold issues, which involved scraping mold and spraying stuff. All that was left was the wall repair. They did an excellent job of returning the walls and ceiling back to the way they looked before the work began (except for one thing...I used to have an "air leak" in one of the windows...but it's gone now!!) On a side note: I was also having issues with the irrigation system in the backyard and was trying to replace a piece of underground broken PVC pipe. I was having difficulty connecting the pieces without it breaking, causing me to have to dig more of the yard up. Frank gave me great advice as I was working through it. Eventually he and Jose stopped what they were doing and finished it for me! I can't say enough about Jose, Frank, Damian and Santiago. They were all extremely friendly, professional and meticulous. The cost was a lot more affordable than others I had called, and a better job couldn't have been done. I'm very pleased and satisfied with their work! read more

They are suspicious, too and CHARGE AT LEAST 3 -4 TIMES more than imaginable. And never and I say never on time or do have the parts...they just want more money money money... Bait and switch company! Watch out. Quoted 45 min to arrive at my house for leak detection as driver was "on 405 very close to my house". After plumber didn't show up 2.5 hours later called back and was told that since it's after 5pm they would have to charge me overtime! This is after they were originally scheduled to arrive at 4pm! Highest recommendation. Smart. Clear communicators. Caring. Thorough. Honest. We first chanced upon Santiago and Richardo when our pool deck drains all failed during a wet winter in 2005 and water backed up flooding back into our home. They impressed us then with their innovative use of TECHNOLOGY to visually diagnose the problem with camera snakes -- and then pinpoint the location of our blockage with radio sensors. This tech allowed them to show us clearly and undeniably the extent of our problem and budget a solution (it was big!) before digging a single shovel of dirt. These BROTHERS are lovely, trustworthy technology nerds. And we live them for it. Since that success we call on them for projects large and small. We're in a new house but had another major drain issue in our laundry room. Santiago was able to SHOW ME using camera snakes EXACTLY where the break was -- before I agreed to let them jackhammer thru our laundry room floor. But I said yes in complete confidence that it was the correct assessment of our problem -- and the only reasonable course of action. ZERO ANXIETY that I was being played -- it was Santiago clearly and plainly SHOWING ME on a screen what was going in under our floors. CALL THEM for every BIG problem. This company needs to be shut down by the authorities. My buildings HOA hired this company to flush the sewage pipes and for over a week they left raw sewage residue all over the garage and didn't seal the pipes properly so my neighbors Mercedes ended up with liquid raw sewage spewed all over the back seat of his car- and the rest of us ended up with cars smelling horribly of poop and sewage and dried raw sewage baking in this valley heat all throughout the garage. I went down there this morning and my eyes are totally irritated and swollen from the stench and disgusting microbes floating around in the air! IM PISSED!!! My car is inly 2 months old- and my "new car smell" has now been replaced by the horrific odor of an Andy Gump! After a week of denied requests to fix the problem, they sent two guys over this morning- and their solution was to pour some water over one section where the Mercedes resides- but they left within 5 minutes and by time I got down there- they were gone. Literally- 5 minutes. The owner Santiago is supposed to come himself and fix the situation this afternoon. He needs to sanitize the garage at this point. We all walk through and now we and our pets are tracking this sh*t into our cars, through the bldg, and into our homes. I'm furious and my eyes are still stinging and swollen. Let's see what happens. Please read how this company threatened to put a LIEN on my house and collected 1,500.00 for digging a 2 foot hole in my yard!!!!!!!!! I was referred to them by a friend who knew them personally-not professionally... my mistake. They came out to my house did the assessment and diagnostics. After concluding that my system needed to be pumped they said they would "help" to dig out my septic system tank. When they said "help" I took it literally so it was to my surprise to find an invoice of $1,500.00.. I called the company back sure that there must be a mistake.. they did not budge. They were very aggressive saying that "it's a lot of work to did out and pump the system. Firstly, they did not pump out the contents and secondly the digging they did was three people 2 teenagers and the owner himself it took them about 2.5 hours to dig a 2 foot hole, then even less time for to fill it back up. I consulted with a few of my neighbors who all have a similar septic system and who have been homeowners in the area for years. All of which told me that I had been ripped off. I then called several of the plumbing companies which they referred me to get other quotes. These plumbers all told me that what the Angel "plumbers" did was not "standard practice. " They explained that a plumber can assess and diagnosis the situation but that they refer out to a company who digs out the septic tank and pumps. Which would typically cost a total of 500.00 or so TOTAL ( for digging AND for pumping)... When I called the Angel plumbers to relay this information that I gathered and to negotiate they were still aggressive and threatened to put a LIEN on my house. Against my will and solely to be done with these people who call themselves "plumbers" and headache.... I paid.
