We were in your store to buy a bbq and the salesperson was not friendly and actually pretty rude. He gave me the wrong price initially until I told him it was on sale in their website. Then I asked about assembly and delivery and he said that's an extra charge when on the website it says if your a rewards member there is no charge. He seemed very bothered by my questions so we left and will take our business elsewhere. read more

I love Ace Hardware in general because they always have what I need BUT Camarillo Ace Hardware is simply the best because of the help I get from the manager and staff in the store! I also LOVE their plants and gardening supplies are terrific. They pay attention our needs for all the gardening supplies for the Camarillo climate. They have a lot of Tools to select from and the staff knows a lot about them. They helped me pick the right tools for my project. It was great. They also made me a new screen using my outer frame. It only took the guys a day to get my screen door redone! Their BBQ selection is wonderful. They have great BBQs, Smokers, Pizza ovens and they even have a ton of different BBQ Sauces to select from. Super happy to have an Ace Hardware in our town. I grew up loving Ace Hardware and the great selection. Over the years, such Mom and Pop hardware stores have been beaten down by the big boys even though these local hardware stores always seem to have what you are looking for. For instance, on my first visit to the Camarillo Ace Hardware I purchased four specialty screws to fix the gear shifter in my truck. Today, I went to get Humming Bird Food. I also noted the wide selection of Green Eggs BBQ's for this summer, and Benjamin Moore paint for my next project. Ace hardware store is off of Las Posas Rd, Next to PetSmart. When I first entered I noticed how Super clean this store is. This store is not too big but they have a lot of selections to choose from & this store is very organized. I was greeted by sweet & kind gentleman name Jack. He asked what I was looking for, I said to him if they had any bird seed? He said Yes, I asked him to please wait I need a shopping cart & he did. I was so happy he waited, he also gave me a weekly brochure which was very sweet of him. He took me to the isle of the bird seed & told me there was a sale and said if there none there will be some tomorrow, which it's nice to know. He asked if I needed anything else I say no thank you. So I was browsing the store and found some mosquito repellent, after I was trying figure which one out Luke approached me, asked me if I had any questions I said yes. He was also very sweet & kind, I was able to pick out which one I wanted. As I was returning to the front to check out I was greeted by sweet & kind girl name Pendleton. She asked me if I found everything? I said Yes she rang me up. I also was able to meet Jack, Joe and Joseph all wonderful workers. Everyone is so sweet & kind here. I feel the hospitality, warmth, kindness, helpfulness at this store! I would love to Specially Thank Jack, Luke, Pendleton, Joe, and Joseph!! Thank you so much for your great sincere hospitality!! We went in here a couple of months ago, so expensive and no one in the place. Looked at the plants they had all dead and wanted 20.00 for a small plant. If you are going to sell tropical plants then take care of them. Selling dead plants is horrible, we left and will never go back some worker at the door complaining about the parking, well that gym takes up most of the parking there that is why TUESDAY MORN went out. Its a stupid place for a over priced Hardware store. I will go to my all time favorite ACE ON PONDERSOA AVE. FRIENDLY employees always have what you need. This store recently opened in Camarillo and every time I go in, there is someone greeting me at the door and offering to help me find someone. They are so friendly and it feels more like an old-fashioned family owned hardware store than a large chain. I recently came in needing to repair a PVC pipe system leak and the young guy working there helped me find all the right parts in just a couple minutes so I could finish my project. I'll definitely stop by here in the future to see if they have what I need before going all the way to Home Depot. read more
