My mom and I went here for the first time to get our nails done a few weeks ago. We were a bit apprehensive since we usually go somewhere across town, but we didn't have enough time to do that so we tried Angel Nail. I'm happy to say we had a great experience and have found our new nail salon!
We each chose the manicure/pedicure combo package, which I hesitate to call a package since there's no discount, but anyway, the combo was $35, a price I find to be reasonable. The atmosphere is quaint but upscale in Angel Nail, with attractive lighting and FANTASTIC music--I think they were playing Peter Lee Johnson, who does pop hits on the violin. Perfect soothing tunes for getting your nails done, trust me. It's not overly loud in there since there aren't an overwhelming number of stations--something I really appreciate, since the place I used to go often felt like a nail assembly line.
Sam did my mom's nails and did a fabulous job. The ladies engaged in genuine conversation with us, didn't rush, and did a very nice job on the finished product. The woman who did my nails was also good, although sadly I can't recall her name.
I will definitely be going back to this relaxing little nail salon tucked away in a small strip plaza, especially since there's a chance I get to hear Justin Bieber's "Somebody to Love" on the violin again as someone rubs my feet. Ahhhh...Heaven. read more
