From the greeting to the end of the service it was a chilled experience. This place was recommended by my wax lady... I ended up getting a deluxe manicure and sns. I needed the special attention to my cuticles and Nicki did just that. She paid very careful attention and took her time. I was delighted that it was not a rushed service. My friend recommended I try Top Nails after she got a satisfactory gel manicure here. I have been wanting to try SNS so I did my first SNS mani here. Located in the Toco Hills plaza near Top Spice and Goldberg's, it's a convenient but busy location. I've been twice now and haven't had any trouble with parking, although sometimes I've parked closer to Publix. The salon isn't huge but has enough chairs for pedicures along the sides of the room and manicures set up in the center of the room. I've gotten just a mani as well as a mani plus a pedi - if you get both, you get to sit and stay in the pedicure chairs for both services. My first SNS manicure was awesome. The lady did a great job on my nails! The color was perfect and even across the entire nail and all my nails. She did a round shape, exactly as I requested, which seems to be a rarely well executed request for some reason. Royal Red, y'all. My pedicure was nice - I have some thick calluses on my feet from dance but she tried so hard to grind them down. I'm ticklish so all the scrubbing really made me squirm but I knew it would be good for me! She spent 3/4 of the time on the cleaning up of my feet and the last few minutes painting my toes. The second SNS manicure was fine - I was hoping to have my cuticles cleaned up but I don't think he thought I needed it - which is fine because I don't need to be spending any extra money. I didn't like how he didn't remove all the SNS polish entirely, even though I was getting the same color. The resulting color was an ombré effect which was not what I was looking for. My tips were darker than the other end of the nail. However, I got quite a few compliments and I guess the more I stared the more I liked it, too! It was only $35 for the color removal and reapplication. Overall, it's a great deal if you're in the area. And honestly, I don't mind going out a little out of my way for the two clean and nice jobs that were done on my fingers and my toes! read more

I was recommended to come here because it was quality and affordable. My first time coming was pretty good. Thought I may have found my new nail shop. I was wrong. I went for the second time today. When cutting down my nails, he cut too low and cut my finger. Not a snip. A cut. I was bleeding for about 7 min continuously. He put liquid antiseptic on it and continued to do the rest of my nails. There was zero compensation for cutting the front of my finger off. I was still charged the regular price and the owner/ manager was not notified. I started going here about a year ago after a friend told me how great they are. Fast, friendly, clean, organized! I always book a reservation with Mary or Lily. They are very detailed and will listen to you, giving you the specific shape, length, thickness, and color you prefer. I like a clean natural look (SNS Bubble Bath) but have seen them do everything from ombré to coffin shaped. Go see them! They are THAT fabulous! I've been getting my nails done here for years, and they always do a great job! Prices are reasonable for our area, service is great, and location is easy to find. Before coming here, I could not get my nails to grow long, but after I started coming, they suggested the SNS manicure and my nails were able to grow with it. Now, I keep them long. My manicures last 3-4 weeks, which is great for me, so I only have to get them done about once a month. I also get gel on my toes so they are dry as soon as I leave and they last for weeks. They have so many colors of both to choose from, and you can get a variety of styles, such as chrome, hombre, rhinestone-studded, cat's eye, and more. I have tried more colors and styles than I can name, and have always been pleased with the results. I do recommend making an appointment if you are coming in the afternoon, particularly later in the week, as afternoon and weekends get very busy. They do take walk-ins, but if you call ahead for an appointment, you don't have to wait. The lady owner is rude and should be banned from working in public places. Her attitude is horrible but when I questioned it, she said humbly, she was fine and there was nothing wrong with her. This is not a bad review on their services or them in particular. I just moved into the area and have been going to them on for almost a year now. I love their services, the teamwork the employees have is wonderful. However, the other day I decided to get my usual mani/pedi. There was a new guy working. First off they sat me in a chair next to him, having me think that someone else was going to be doing my nails, but whatever I had nowhere to be and was scrolling on my phone. He was finishing someone's nails, but I didn't see the person get up and he rudely got my attention by waving and saying "hellooo....". Already no off to a great start. He was nice for a bit, but he was very rough. He was also filing my skin... with both the nail file and the mechanical file. I stopped to tell him that it hurt and to not be so rough. He tried to explain that it was the texture of the file. I told him a couple more times and he started listening. AFTER he finished he rushed to get the payment, but I was washing my hands and my fingers were burning and bleeding. As I'm laying he asked if I was going to tip. I only tipped because of my pedicure being done and it wasn't by him and either way it was a service. I explained that's the only reason I did. The lady working nearby asked if there was a problem. I said "I have never come into a shop to relax and get my nails done and leave stressed and with cuts all over my fingers." She held my hand and looked for cuts... I had wiped the blood off already and you couldn't see them under the light. He didn't even apologize, he rolled his eyes when I said he was too rough for the 5th time! I'm NOT happy. I paid and walked out. I WON'T be back. Truly disappointed. I love the Toco Hills shopping center and loved that I can just go and get my nails done after a list of other things I do there. read more

Place really needs to be cleaned. The sign in sheet doesn't work. They take whoever is spending the most first. Went for a pedicure and since that was the only service , rushed the process while the lady next to me - also getting a new full set was pampered beyond belief. This was my first and only time I'll be here. No toe separators just tissue stuffed between your toes, no calf massage, and to top it off polish came off after 3 days... The atmosphere is nice and relaxing but very familiar. I have gone back again to get SNS since they did such an extraordinary job the first time but i think i found my nail place. It's relatively inexpensive $30 (not including tip) for SNS but they take their time and give you a quick massage (which was unexpected but so nice of them). Top Nails Salon and Spa is the opposite of its name. It is without a doubt the worst place that I have visited for spa services, if you can call it a spa. Last Monday I came in with my Mother to get a pedicure and manicure and the nail technician that I was assigned was not friendly at all. Whenever I asked him to do the expected, like make sure the nail polish was neatly applied to my nails he huffed and puffed and said it was the nail polish. As a skilled nail tech he should have control over how the nail polish is applied. He also gave me much attitude when I asked him to wash his hands after leaving me to go and start on someone else nails. When he came back to me, I asked if he could wash his hands, and it seemed to be a problem or inconvenience. Lastly when I asked him to clean off the dirty gel nail light box he was again irritated by my request and told me that the heat from the UV Light kills the germs. Whether it does or doesn't, I am no expert in UV Light, but simply cleaning the box would have been nice. Approximately 5 days after getting my gel nails done, one of them broke(and my nails are short) and the others are stained for some reason. It's like the nail polish is old. Maybe that's what the nail tech meant to say when he was applying it. That's probably what he was referring to when he said "it was the nail polish." Today I came back to the nail spa to show them my nails. I have never had gel nails look this terrible after only a week. They told me I would need to pay to have them fixed. Not to reapply, but to fix. All of the nails are browning and need to be fixed. Some of the nails polish looks smudged which is strange on gel names. I had already paid $129 for my nails and my Mother's nails and didn't feel I needed to pay for anymore services granted the work they already did was not up to par. I told them I could come back on Thursday when my schedule allowed and they told me I needed to get them done today. My schedule does not permit me to sit down and get my nails done again until Thursday. Tahl, one of the women came to the front and relayed this information after I showed her the issue. She referred to me as Honey in a very condescending tone and was very nasty. Andy was also very inconsiderate and accusatory. He told me that I must have done something with my nails for them to be turning a light brown. (Ex: applying makeup) but I don't use my hands to apply makeup, I use brushes. I honestly believe the nail polish is old. This place definitely needs to retrain the nail techs. I could do a better job in paying more attention to detail and accuracy when it comes to painting nails. But, I thought that I would have been getting Top Tier service with very skilled techs at a place called Top Tier Nails. Honestly, the only reason I came here was because Vinings Nails was closed. I actually noticed my nails looking this way on Friday, only 4 days after getting g them done, but didn't have time to stop by until Monday which makes one week since getting them done. Regardless, gel nails shouldn't look this way after a week. The customer service is non existent and unacceptable at Top Tier Nails. Please don't waste your time getting your nails done here. I never write reviews but after the horrible customer service and disrespect today, I wanted to make sure no one else wasted their hard earned money in the midst of a pandemic at "Top Tier Nails". read more
