This is a really nice place. I recently took my son (8) and nephew (4) and they had a blast. I would recommend more for the younger kids. It's more ball pits and slides rather than a trampoline park for bigger kids. But once again, both had a lot of fun. Prett

The staff had set up my son's soon with a fun construction theme including table clothes, plates, napkins, signs on the wall and had juice and water ready to go. They checked in throughout, reminded us about pizza and cake at the right time and didn't rush anyone. Last year my son had his birthday at Tumble Jungle in Norwalk and it felt more rushed and like they wanted us out on the minute but Playhouse Fairfield gave us a great experience. If you're looking for an easy time for your kids, someone to truly pull it all together for you I'd definitely recommend them in the future!

My two-year-old son and I have visited this location dozens of times over the past year without a single issue. On this visit, we also happened to be the only Black family present. What happened afterward was shocking, unprofessional, and felt unmistakably discriminatory. Later that day, I received a call from someone identifying herself as the owner/manager. She claimed that it had been "reported" that my recently turned two-year-old son had: * "Shaken" a one-year-old girl * Then supposedly been "violent" toward multiple children * And later--somehow--"choked" the same child These accusations all came in a single phone call and kept changing as she spoke. Not one version was consistent with the last, and none of them matched anything that occurred during our visit. When I calmly asked her to check security footage, she said she would but immediately followed it with, "The video may not have caught anything," despite openly admitting she hadn't reviewed it. To this day, I have received zero follow-up or confirmation that any video was checked at all. I later spoke with the front-desk employee who was there during our visit. He confirmed that: * No parent voiced any complaint about my son * He personally witnessed nothing concerning * The owner/manager was not even present at the time This brings up extremely concerning questions: * How did the owner know to single out my child when no complaint was made? * Why was I immediately presumed guilty with no evidence? * Why did the supposed reporting parents never speak to me directly, which is standard in children's play spaces? * Why did the claims escalate from shaking, to multiple children, to choking--a sequence that simply does not align with a newly two-year-old's behavior or my son's history? My son has never harmed another child, and our long history at this business reflects that.

A great place for kids to burn off that never-ending energy!…read more I've been coming to Fun City since it first opened, and it's still a great place to bring the kids when they need to get out of the house and burn off some energy! If you're a parent, you know exactly what I mean. Sometimes you just need somewhere they can run, jump, play, and wear themselves out. One thing I like about Fun City is that there's a separate toddler area, so even the little ones have their own space to play. I have an elementary-school-aged child and a high schooler, and they both enjoy coming here! I also see plenty of teenagers when I visit, so it's not just a place for the little kids. Pricing Today, it was $28 for an hour and a half, plus socks. I think that's a reasonable option for keeping the kids entertained and active. My only problem? My kids can NEVER find their socks when it's time to come back! At this point, I might as well buy socks in bulk just for Fun City. Halloween fun They currently have a Halloween-themed going on, which adds a fun seasonal touch. It's nice to see something extra happening around this time of year! Cleanliness & staff The facility looks clean, and there seem to be plenty of staff members around. Everyone I encountered was friendly, which always makes a difference when you're visiting with kids. Easy check-in They have self-service stations for completing waivers, which makes the process convenient. The waiver is good for about a year, so you don't have to keep starting from scratch every time you return. Parents, you have options too! There's seating throughout the establishment, so you can sit back and keep an eye on the kids while they play. They even have massage chairs you can pay to use while you wait! Now, that's an option for parents who need a little relaxation while the kids are busy having fun. They also have cold drinks available and a icee machines, so there are some refreshment options on-site. Birthday parties Fun City offers birthday party packages and has multiple party rooms. I've visited on other occasions when all the rooms were filled with birthday celebrations! Today, I didn't see any parties going on, but it's good to know they have the space and setup for celebrating special occasions. Weekend tip I'm visiting on a Saturday around 6 PM, and it seems like I arrived after the rush. There are still families here, but it feels calmer and isn't overwhelmingly busy. Of course, every visit can be different, especially when birthday parties are happening, but this was a comfortable time to visit. Overall: A great family-friendly spot in Rocky Hill! And the biggest WIN? By the time we're ready to leave, the kids are usually tired enough to actually WANT to go home. Parents, bring the kids, keep an eye on those socks, and enjoy the break while they burn off all that energy!

It was much larger than I would have expected, and it's easy to keep an eye on the kids. Recommended for getting some of their energy out and cutting back on the screen time.

My daughter is only three years old. She did not hit the child or do anything to him, but for some reason, the mother became offended and approached my wife. On top of that, my wife is pregnant, and this woman threatened her, saying that something was going to happen to her if she did not control her daughter, and that because she was pregnant, something could happen to her as well. My wife felt unsafe and immediately went to the owner to explain what had happened. The owner basically said that he could not do anything. How can someone go to a children's establishment, be threatened by another customer, report it to the owner, and be told that nothing can be done? My wife was threatened with comments suggesting that something could happen to her and her pregnancy, and the owner did absolutely nothing about it. I do not recommend this place to anyone, especially families with young children.

I can't give it more. I wish I could and this place has really great potential but management needs…read morehelp. I went for a bday party. The room was fine. The set up was cool. It's typical set up. So what you'll get at other facilities, you'll get here. The facility is AMAZING!!! There is so many things to crawl through, run around, stairs and slides, basketball courts to have little games. Two personal size trampolines that's one jumper at a time. That can be an issue if they don't have a timer for it and the line gets long. I didn't see a long line because the kids would leave and play around the whole facility. They had a small gaming room that I did t check out but I can only assume it's like other arcade spots. Only a bit smaller section. They had this one area that you can be on the second floor and launch balls down to the ground floor with a bit of force to make it fun and give you the illusion that you have a powerful gun. You can throw those balls around and hit each other, they were soft. In the middle of that room there's an apparatus that blows air up and makes these balls float and come out of the top of a 4 foot tube. Again, it's cool for 2-7 year olds. Maybe even 8-9 Yr olds would have fun in this room. This place is really big. You can't keep an eye out on your child. That's how many tunnels they are and how fast the kids can come through there that you'll lose your eyes on them. If you're the parent that needs to keep an eye on your child 100% of the tiMe, get socks and join in on the fun with them cause from the ground you will not be able to do it. They have a toddler section. A small version that they can easily have fun there too. NOW.... As for the 3 stars... I couldn't give more but if they fix this one section or gap in their business this place can be a 4.5 to 5 star facility. The tops of the slides: DUSTY. Needs a cleaning. And WEEKLY too! NOT monthly. The staffing!! The staff was very very short. The line at the concession stand was too long and the wait was insane, especially for a place that was starting to get full. I went on a Saturday around 11am... that's PRIME! TIME!! That's when you would have a FULL STAFF! Two staff at the concession stand, two staff setting up the party rooms, two in the front, two roaming the play area. .... That's just for the weekend staffing. Weekday, knock it down to ONE or less in all the areas that I listed. But it gets better and this is the ending. As we were in the front. One of the staff that was there happen to have a relative that she hasn't seen in a long time. I know this by her reaction and by what she said and how her convo went. She said, "when did you get in motherfu&!3r?!" Loud and clear. My wife said that shortly after she said, "my bad for my language".... Umm too late sweet pea. Thank God my son didn't hear that. I would have been upset if I had to explain to him that's not a word you use. So that was our intro to this place. Not a good start. Would I return? Yes and I'll bring in my own snacks to avoid waiting 10 min for a bottle of water or drinks. And put ear muffs on my children. That's all folks.

Update: you now have to buy Billy Beez socks for every person playing. The socks are $2.95. I'm…read morehoping not to lose them.
