And speaking of the station, the ride itself feels like it's running on the bare minimum. For an older coaster, you expect a little rattle, but this feels more like low maintenance than vintage charm. Thunderbolt deserves better upkeep, especially given its legacy at the park. At the end of the day, the nostalgia is notable -- even special -- but the overall experience doesn't match the potential. I plan to use my Six Flags 2016 season pass and be on this roller coaster more than once every single visit. The rides were running with several open chairs which contributed to hour long waits for each ride. Security was called a couple times for line cutters and the response was to just let them keep their spot and ride the ride. The haunted houses were a joke - we waited in line for one of them for 30 minutes and were not even close to half way through because it hadn't moved more than a couple yards forward. There is no reason why those shouldn't have been close to continuous, the houses are just walk throughs! The food lines were also ridiculous, we sat in a fried dough line for 30 minutes because the staff were chatting instead of putting the pre fried dough on plates, it was already cooked they literally just had to put the toppings on it. Also they were absolutely using dirty oil or something for the fried dough, mine was inedible. Tasted like they'd been frying chicken or fish or something in it prior to the dough. Crowds really were not that bad either, we have been to this event on more crowded nights but the place was just ran so poorly you couldn't actually do any of the things advertised. Overall the experience was awful, especially compared to past years. Usually the food is great and the houses are all great but this year was terrible, we will not be returning any time soon.

I came planning to spend like 15 to 20 minutes here and I ended up spending almost 2 hours. There is an ample selection, not a ton of jewelry making supplies mostly just beads, but I can get that stuff elsewhere. I will definitely be back. There are many arcade games but 1/3 of the games seemed to be out of order for my trip. Not sure if that is because of the package my group paid for. Honestly most of the games were stale. The bumper cars were of the kiddie variety and used levers for movement instead of a steering wheel so it was a little less bump which takes away some of the fun. The overall drive space was smaller so the bumps were more like nudges. The scary 3D movie experience also didn't provide the thrill I was expecting. The aroma of buttery popcorn is very prevalent everywhere in the center, so much so that I swear it's on purpose to make you buy popcorn. The pizza was not impressive but I suppose standard for the course. During my visit the wait for the concession lines were really long. The floors were well cleaned and maintained which is a nice change from the normal food stained floors of most kiddie entertainment centers.

Pumpkinhead people are scarecrows with faces painted on the pumpkins as heads. They're creative and cute. There are two venues, The Forest and The Village. The Village is a walk through and it takes about an hour for $7. There are about 30 pumpkinheads with different scenes; church, saloon, bank, post office, fire house, etc. The Forest is a one mile drive through and takes about 20 minutes for $25. There are about 30 pumpkinheads with different scenes; coal mine, schoolyard, and more. The ride is narrated, there's a scavenger hunt, and you can buy treats for the ride, such as popcorn, cider, and cider donuts. They also have multiple shops onsite. The harvest store has produce, gourmet food items, souvenirs, and gifts. The garden center has annuals, perennials, shrubs, etc. The main store has hardware, house plants, pet supplies, and a Christmas shop etc. Around Thanksgiving, they open up for the Christmas season and the pumpkinheads are waiting to be viewed via drive by, in their holiday spirit. My family and I went last weekend to The Village. The kids and adults thoroughly enjoyed walking through and seeing all the pumpkinheads. They did a great job with the scenery and putting the pumpkinheads together. There were many photos ops. I especially loved the pumpkinhead wedding. The slides were steep but my son loved it; I can see why there's a disclaimer that it goes fast. There was an indoor go-kart track that my son also loved riding the little go-karts on; it went around the playscape. There were large Legos, blocks, a ball pit, a mini donut shop, ride on toy cars, and grocery store. We spent an hour and a half there and my son still didn't want to leave. My other son is a crawler, he still enjoyed the toys at the mini stores and the ride on cars.
