It's not new but sure does travel smoothly. There is little to no line & I enjoy the roller coaster! The front, back, it's all great! I plan to use my Six Flags 2016 season pass and be on this roller coaster more than once every single visit. For my dino obsessed five year old he loved seeing all the variety of dinosaurs and even some more obscure ones that he knew and you never see at spots like this. They did a great job of putting some dinosaurs into "scenes" and simply showcasing others with facts and more info. My son isn't into splash pads, but that splash pad looked like a ton of fun. The climbing area was also huge and looked like fun. My five year old stuck to walking around and going through the maze 15 times. The maze is simple, but fun and a nice addition to the park. What I like about this park is it's great for kids of all ages! Probably from at least 3-10 and even older if your child is super into dinosaurs or you are an adult who loves dinos!

Geared towards the younger crowd, adults can partake in the play which was pretty cool. There was enough excitement from the various obstacles to provide a thrill, old and young alike. This was definitely the highlight of the entertainment center. Safety wasn't an issue and there was enough supervision even with the additional risks. There are many arcade games but 1/3 of the games seemed to be out of order for my trip. Not sure if that is because of the package my group paid for. Honestly most of the games were stale. The bumper cars were of the kiddie variety and used levers for movement instead of a steering wheel so it was a little less bump which takes away some of the fun. The overall drive space was smaller so the bumps were more like nudges. The scary 3D movie experience also didn't provide the thrill I was expecting. The aroma of buttery popcorn is very prevalent everywhere in the center, so much so that I swear it's on purpose to make you buy popcorn. The pizza was not impressive but I suppose standard for the course. During my visit the wait for the concession lines were really long. The floors were well cleaned and maintained which is a nice change from the normal food stained floors of most kiddie entertainment centers.

Pumpkinhead people are scarecrows with faces painted on the pumpkins as heads. They're creative and cute. There are two venues, The Forest and The Village. The Village is a walk through and it takes about an hour for $7. There are about 30 pumpkinheads with different scenes; church, saloon, bank, post office, fire house, etc. The Forest is a one mile drive through and takes about 20 minutes for $25. There are about 30 pumpkinheads with different scenes; coal mine, schoolyard, and more. The ride is narrated, there's a scavenger hunt, and you can buy treats for the ride, such as popcorn, cider, and cider donuts. They also have multiple shops onsite. The harvest store has produce, gourmet food items, souvenirs, and gifts. The garden center has annuals, perennials, shrubs, etc. The main store has hardware, house plants, pet supplies, and a Christmas shop etc. Around Thanksgiving, they open up for the Christmas season and the pumpkinheads are waiting to be viewed via drive by, in their holiday spirit. My family and I went last weekend to The Village. The kids and adults thoroughly enjoyed walking through and seeing all the pumpkinheads. They did a great job with the scenery and putting the pumpkinheads together. There were many photos ops. I especially loved the pumpkinhead wedding. For the kids, they had a hay bale maze, inflated tires to jump around on, a spider web rope playscape, and an area where they can shoot soft balls into a pond. They also were selling fresh to order apple cider donuts; picnic tables were available to sit on. The parking lot was large and they had people guide us where to park; they even had a police officer as a crossing guard. They have a seamless operation and this place is worth a visit!

I arrived between 1 and 2 in the afternoon and started with Batman, which is a very fun coaster. The restraints felt extremely comfortable and secure. It can leave you a little dizzy, but it is definitely worth riding. After walking around for a bit, I made my way to Wicked Cyclone. The lines were very long, but if you come to the park often, you know which rides are worth the wait. I spent about two hours in line, and it ended up being my favorite ride of the day. Afterwards, I grabbed some ice cream near the Starbucks at the entrance. It was decent, though a bit pricey. Two cups came out to about twenty five dollars even with the season pass discount. Next, I headed to Gotham City Gauntlet and then Supergirl Sky Flyer, both of which had very short lines. After that, I rode Scream, which only had about a twenty minute wait and is another one of my favorites. I then went back toward the Batman area to ride Riddler Revenge. It does jolt your head around a bit, but it was not too bad, and the wait time was reasonable. To finish the day, I tried the new coaster Quantum Accelerator. It may not look very intense, but for a family coaster it is surprisingly good. It is very fast, has some nice airtime, and features sharp yet smooth turns that make it feel unique. Unfortunately, Superman was closed during my visit. Overall, I have been coming to this park every summer, and it remains one of the best out there, especially if you enjoy classic coasters.

come here with a PLAN! when you come here, you must budget your time, energy & wallet accordingly!…read more i came here with 3 teens, 11-15. we entered the parking at 1:50pm so i decided to skip the flash pass at $50 each, although i nearly regretted it the entire time. we were only going to be there for less than 6 hours, so i didn't think it would be worth it. it probably was, but it would be nice if they offered it for $39/pp like they used to. the walk from the furthest parking lot isn't bad if you don't have younger kids, takes 7-10 minutes, but would be a nightmare with little ones. i would have paid the $10 for a lot across the street to be closer when we left. we immediately got in line for superman, waited about 1 hour & 20 minutes in 90 degree weather. one of the kids really wanted to go on the cyborg, but we stepped in the inside room where the wait is for about 5 seconds, where it had to be 120+ degrees in there (i love saunas, just not like this) and smelled so bad of body odor that i immediately made the executive decision not to suffer for an indoor ride. they should really add ac or fans to the cyborg line. our next ride was the harley quinn which i had never been on. it was very fun, but it only makes your stomach turn once at the very top, and i probably would not wait an hour for this ride again. they kept letting flash pass people on, which is understandable, but they let them ALL on while everyone else sweated profusely in the sun for over an hour. when i was on the ride, i mentioned i was excited to finally try it, and the kid next to me said this was his third time of the day. really put a damper on the experience. after this, two of the kids went for pizza from carlini's pizza, and i got the half raspberry iced tea, half lemonade which is the best hydration in this park. the other kid ordered loaded cheese fries from the macho nacho burritos, he liked it. all of the food here, no matter where you go, is $18.99 and not justified. although, i did order a chocolate milkshake for $12 from cowabunga burger in the water park that was worth it. it is more like a frappe with how thick it is, and was the perfect treat to cool down. we visited hurricane harbor at about 4:30 for just over an hour, it was nearly impossible to find seats for myself and one teen but he ended up doing better than me in that area! the two girls went in the wave pool for awhile, then waited in the line for the tornado before being told it was down. did hurricane harbor always smell this pissy, or is it accumulated over so many years? i never remember it smelling so strong of pee, just chlorine. i used to love the water park as a kid, but based on the smell, it will remain a fond memory for me. the joker is the old mind eraser. i couldn't quite tell, until the ride where my head hit the back of the seat 3 times at the point where it slows down, to be reminded, "ahh yes, this is definitely the mind eraser, i remember this." only the mind eraser could bring back such fond memories of your brain feeling scrambled, and your head feeling a bit bruised for about 15 minutes. wicked cyclone is an older coaster made with wood & steel. it looks underwhelming but i'd argue it's one of the best rides in the park for thrill seekers. it seemed to make up for a number of disappointments on a very hot, july day, for myself and all three kids. many of the rides kept letting on all the fast passes, and letting the other line wait. wicked cyclone was the only one who allocated properly and allowed in x amount of fast passes as well as the regular line so that both lines moved. they had the nicest staff, and none of the other rides did it that way, which seemed like an oversight. six flags new england is the only real amusement park we have in new england, so rating it based on that makes the score higher, but compared to other national amusement parks, it could be better. i'd be really disappointed if it were gone. i think they can make some improvements. six flags new england holds a special place in my heart, it was one of my favorite places as a kid.

Restrooms were clean and had changing tables. The arcade area was small with an air hockey table, photo booth, and various arcade games. My toddler loved the dinosaur egg machine; there were toys inside those golden eggs. The playground has two levels and they were soft on the feet. The slides were steep but my son loved it; I can see why there's a disclaimer that it goes fast. There was an indoor go-kart track that my son also loved riding the little go-karts on; it went around the playscape. There were large Legos, blocks, a ball pit, a mini donut shop, ride on toy cars, and grocery store. We spent an hour and a half there and my son still didn't want to leave. My other son is a crawler, he still enjoyed the toys at the mini stores and the ride on cars. Overall it was 5 stars for my children and I; we look forward to going back and highly recommend it for kids 10 and under.
