There are plenty of parking and picnic tables under shade on the median. The playground is gated with a couple of benches. There are no swings but the playscape was big enough to entertain a few kids and my toddler. There is a slide and two tunnels. Even though it's on the smaller side, kids were still running around having fun with tons of space around them. The playground is also on turf (fake grass). I think this is a great touch to add this playground for the kids; once they are done shopping/eating at the restaurants with their parents, they have a space to let the energy out.

Once you arrive you'll know you're at the right place when you see the giant backwards "EGGS" sign on the front of the red barn. I started by going inside their Egg Room and Farm Store, which is not very big, but does sell farm-fresh eggs, local honey, jams, pork and grass-fed beef, etc. They also have a lot of merchandise/souvenirs with their backwards "EGGS" logo. While you're inside, say hi to the birds, guinea pigs, and baby chickens that are near the register. After looking around the farm store, I went outside to check out the petting zoo. Admission is $8.00, with children under 2 and seniors over 80 being free. You can also buy a cup of grain for $2.00 to feed the animals, or a bucket for $5.00. Flamig Farm has a fairly extensive petting zoo, with pigs, goats, donkeys, sheep, alpaca, llamas, horses, cows, emus, chickens, geese and ducks, and more! You can pet and feed most of the animals, who were very friendly! Keep in mind that the petting zoo is only open from April until mid-November, 9am-5pm. Dogs are also not permitted on the farm unless they are certified Service Dogs with proper paperwork. The farm also offers pony rides for kids on Saturdays/Sundays from 11am-3pm, April through November, weather permitting. It's $5.00 per ride, with an 80-pound weight limit. Tractor rides are also available by reservation, or during the fall on weekends from 11am-3pm, weather permitting. $5.00 per person, and under age 2 is free. During the month of October, the farm offers a "Haunted Walkthrough," and during December they have visits with Santa Clause. Make sure to check their website for dates/hours and to buy tickets in advance. The only staff member I really interacted with was when I bought my ticket to the petting zoo, but she was friendly. Overall Flamig Farm is a great spot to spend an afternoon and make some new animal friends. I would highly recommend checking it out!

The kids had fun feeding the farm animals. I will have to admit I had fun too. There are all sorts of farm animals, such as chickens, cats, dogs, goats, horses, bunnies, pigs and more. I am a cat person and I enjoy looking for the barn cats. The place is pretty clean for a farm and the kids enjoy the tractor ride. All the employees were nice and friendly. That's a score for us! There is a waiver to sign before entering. They have varying weekend hours open to the public, it's best to check their social media sites for updates prior to going. Shoes are not allowed while playing on the bouncy houses; make sure you have socks on. There was a toddler area for kids 3 and under; parents must take their shoes off in there. There were plenty of benches for parents to wait at while their kids played. There were about 8-10 bouncy houses and a playscape. There's an arcade and some tables in the lobby. I saw vending machines. My children enjoyed their time there. The hour was the perfect timing; my kids were tired out. It also seems like a good place to host birthday parties. Overall, I recommend it if you're looking for something new to do with the kids and if it's too cold or rainy out.

There's a trail that takes you down to a pretty pond, waterfall, and wetlands. The selfish, careless, inconsiderate arrogance was incredible to witness. So, if you're playing out there on the fields, watch where you step.

There is a pavilion with a few picnic tables; you can contact Canton recreation to reserve them for a party. The parking lot has plenty of spaces. There's no trail, just a small paved portion behind the skatepark. I saw plenty of people walking around the park and around the field. My kids really enjoyed playing in the playground. There's a double swing you can put your small child in and you can sit on the swing as well; that was a first for me. A gem and I'm lucky to live close by and be able to use this establishment.

It is right next door to the tennis courts. Parking was spacious. The playscape looks new and the playground area was pretty big and fenced in. The large playscape has three levels for the bigger kids. The smaller one is great for toddlers. There is a gazebo with a few picnic tables under it. Down the hill, there are the basketball courts and a smaller, older looking playground. Also, a porta potty is available when nature calls. Overall, one of the best playgrounds I've been to.

There are no boundaries for abilities, because this is designed so children of all abilities can play together, whether the kids are fully able or have physical, sensory or developmental disabilities. The playground was opened in October 2002 and you'll find it off of Iron Horse Boulevard inside the Simsbury Meadows Complex. No admission and tons of free parking onsite. They have two playscapes, designed for kids aged 5-12 and another for kids aged 2-5. There's a ton of fun here - baby swings, slides, a sandbox, a huge Boundless playground, two pint-sized climbing walls and lots more. The playground surface is very soft and rubbery, sort of like walking on a wrestling mat. They have gazebo to sit and relax, and porta-potties for when that need arises.
