I thought it would be similar to like a Hawaiian style latte with macadamia milk, but it was a lot lighter than I thought. It was definitely very nutty, but it also just tasted like water down latte. Honestly not much going on with the drink, but it does taste lighter in general. Crazy have to pay $1.50 more to add on this milk. Overall, its alright. I do like the natural lighting coming into the shop, but nothing too special.

There are people in SF who claim…read moreArsicault Bakery versus those who say B Patisserie is better, so I had to do the Pepsi challenge and find out for myself my last morning here. 1.8 mile walk each way. Here is what I found after having the one from B Patisserie: Pros: compote-ish filling, albeit very little of it, with no actual fruit so I couldn't tell if it was apple or pear. If they had included actual fruit that would've been a game changer for me. Or even more of it--with cinnamon. - there is indoor seating, which is nice if you're looking for that. If you are looking for a sit down place, this is the place, compared to Arsicault's grab and go - this bakery has more choices and bigger staff. Cons: - price point. Arsicault's KA is $5.50, compared to the $7 apiece here. I get it, the rental space is bigger and there is seating as opposed to the grab and go nature of Arsicault so price has to reflect the higher operating costs. I can do without seating. For the price differential, without more filling, the difference is immaterial for me so its higher price doesn't justify itself because I'm only getting KA. People who want variety of choices may enjoy B Patisserie better - slightly smaller in size to Arsicault's round perfection of a KA - no real center of spongy soft goodness bc they fold it in at the outside and the pastry dips in the middle so you have less pastry. While both KA are good, I would say Arsicault wins out on overall taste. There is more to enjoy bc it's bigger, so the outer layer of caramelized crispness contrasts the soft, spongy filling. B Patisserie has the crispy outside but it's folded in at the edges for presentation and dips in the middle so there is less pastry that it's mostly just crispy with a very small middle filling. Good but overall, Arsicault is much more satisfying with a good cup of coffee for me.

By the time I found plastic sticks on the counter in a busy crowd handling two little kids crying for ice cream I was ready to throw it out. What a shame, I don't expect 5 star service but simply splitting ice cream, giving me a spoon or just pay any attention to me as a customer would be enough for those tips that they asked upfront. Lesson learned, never again, although we are in this mall often.

I visited for the first time on Thursday, 10/1/2026, and ordered a small Americano. I specifically asked how many shots it included and was told two. I also requested it extra hot. When I received the coffee, it was only around 4-5 ounces and, despite asking for it extra hot, it was barely warm--closer to cold than hot. Unfortunately, the taste was also extremely weak and watery, with very little coffee flavor. I was charged $5.50 for this. Considering the price, the very small portion, the temperature, and the quality, I found the experience unacceptable. Many other coffee shops in San Francisco offer a larger, properly prepared Americano at a lower price. There were other customers sitting nearby, so I chose not to make an issue of it at the time. However, I left feeling that I had simply wasted my money. I would not return, and I would strongly recommend that anyone considering visiting think twice before spending their money here. I am considering g all the reviews more than 2 stars as fake reviews.
