First Andy's experience. My friends who use to visit Andy's up in Missouri always rave about Andy's frozen custard so I decided to check this place out. I got the caramel pretzel concrete (which was like a DQ blizzard). The vanilla custard was sweet and creamy, and I really loved the addition of real pretzels and caramel. They don't skimp on toppings, I had so many pretzels and caramel on my Sunday, it was delightful. The flavor was okay.  It hit the spot. But, it was nothing special.  I can get this kind of dessert from numerous places Warning: seemed like this location is mainly drive-thru based. We decided to eat our food at the restaurant outside. They only have benches I would suggest more seating especially for groups. Though I prefer outside seating on a warm summer day. I came around 6pm and it wasn't too crowded but the place got packed around 8pm and I couldn't get my car out of the parking lot due to the long line in the drive-thru. As others have said the most glaring problem with this place is the price, I think this is the most expensive frozen treat place I have ever ate at. The pricing is closer to something you find at Disney World than in Longview Texas. Overall solid Custard that just cost too much. read more

The custard here is everything it's supposed to be: smooth, dense and sweet. Customer service is also polite and as efficient as they could be. My only issue here is the price point. A family could very easily spend $40 on dessert here -- and wait in line for 30 minutes to do so. read more

We ordered concretes tonight at Andy's and they were terrible No one got what they ordered. We sent one back and the second one was even worse. None had any of the ingredients listed in the mix. The few ingredients we're sitting on top, not mixed in more than a quarter way down. It appears to be new employees that haven't been trained. From other people that have been there recently it has been like this for a couple weeks. I used to go often. Not going back to pay that kind of money for a cup Of plain vanilla custard. read more

We stayed in Longview for one night, which was the final overnight stop en route back to Baton Rouge (from Colorado). I noticed the late night long line at Andy's. The hotel staff member said their place was legit good, so I knew we had to try it on the way out. They opened at 11am on Sunday and I think we were one of the first customers. We ordered a peach concrete and a key lime pie concrete. Customer service was great & they got our custards out pretty quick! I prefered the taste of the peach over the key lime. I always wish for tart tastes, when I have something with key lime (this one was not). The peach though was another story... it was so great! With the chunks of peaches and the flavor of it was spot on! If I ever come across this place again, I will be super thrilled and will definitely visit them. Their custard consistency pretty perfect. Wow. Can't believe with the drive thru lines around the building in 30 degree weather we saw the past several weekends that we are the first to actually review this place. Big menu out front. We tried 2 of the concrete's. The "BootDaddy" is frozen custard with Oreo and creams caramel hot fudge= very good! Coming from California my brother brought me here and it was sooo good. I got a butterscotch concrete. Today 4/30/20 we went again and we got like 8 different things and I got the same thing. They forgot my daughters milk chocolate bar and there was a weird metal piece inside my butterscotch concrete. Spending two shorts days in Longview for work and was looking for a good ice cream place when I stumbled upon Andy's. I knew the place had to be something special when I saw the packed store front and the drive thru line forming around the building. The service was superb and I was in and out in less than five minutes. The James Brownie Funky Jackhammer did not disappoint and was worth the $8.00. The custard was loaded with toppings and they had no problem with me changing up the ingredients as a last minute request! I got a medium which seemed like an extra large. Great parking and easy to navigate parking lot to accommodate patrons. Lots of bang for your buck! Hope this place stays in business for a long time! I'll definitely be back! read more

I know mistakes happen... but today I got a birthday shake and immediately when I grabbed it I thought it smelled strange. I didn't take a sip until getting into my car & OMG. The milk had to be 2 weeks out of date. It was so sour it had to be curdled. Even my hands smelled from holding the cup. How did no one catch this while making the shake? The custard is everything it's supposed to be - smooth and creamy. The menu has something for everyone, but watch out for the prices...things can add up quickly. The only downfall of this place is really just a small inconvenience...there's no box to order in the drive thru. There's an employee outside taking orders via iPad, but when I went, the employee stood on the other side of the menu closer to the pickup window....so hopefully you remember your full order by time you're ready to order without seeing the menu. I absolutely love Andy's Frozen Custard. BUT: after having had an awesome and delicious Key Lime Pie Concrete last week, the one I ordered today was very disappointing. The ONLY Key Lime flavor was at the very top of the Concrete (literally one spoonful). If I had wanted Vanilla Frozen Custard with some graham cracker crumbs mixed in, I would have ordered it. I waited patiently until the middle of July to get here for this particular flavor, but if there is no Key Lime Pie in the dessert, why would I pay that kind of money for Vanilla Custard. I kept thinking the Key Lime Pie would show up by the bottom of the cup, but that did not happen. We WANT Andy's Frozen Custard to succeed in Longview, TX, but today's disappointment is not going to keep your loyal customers coming back. read more
