We couldn't figure out what was going on with my car at first but he was diligent about giving it back to me 100x better. He kept in communication with me throughout the process and made sure I was never without transportation while it was being worked on. I can't say enough about him and all the guys at Advanced Auto. They truly are the most honest, hard-working and fair shop I've ever worked with. Truly went above and beyond to make sure my a/c and electric was working like new. It's been a year since I was there and I realized I hadn't reviewed yet but as I'm sitting in my car with the a/c blasting ice cold during this insane heatwave I had to do it right now. I send anyone with car issues their way with total confidence.

Kevin quoted me $450.00 and said it would be 2 Hours. I told Kevin great I'm on my way. Well, $450 turned into $$790.40 after being there all day because they took literally my whole dashboard apart! To use your Debit Card you get charged for that too, I was charged $30.40. The next morning when starting up my car a loud squeaky noise was coming from the dashboard, which I've never heard before. I took it right back to them to let them hear it. Kevin and the mechanic that worked on my car told me it COULD be another part that has to be replaced. I also found a bolt under the carpet of my car. What is that too!! That made me angry because there was nothing else that was wrong just that part. They come to me to show the part they think it might be, but that particular part was not for my car. They said they would have to take my whole dashboard apart AGAIN to see what it is, but won't change me for that, but will charge me for whatever needs to be replaced. At that point after a call to them yesterday to speak to Kevin, I had no trust in him, his words or their service. They did not seem too concerned. I let Kevin know that I was having my payment to them stopped. His response was, "Oh we already got paid ". Well, I got my payment back!! After that I just hung up on him. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!

Art and his Crew are worth their collective Weight in Gold…read more I reached out to several Transmission Specialists via Yelp when my 2009 Nissan Rogue began Performing Irregularly out of the Blue 2 days ago. Without any Signs whatsoever-- no Odd Sound or Smell, let alone any Warning Lights on the Dash-- I had to press my Accelerator all the way to the Floor just to get it to go 5-10mph in LA Rush Hour Traffic from Midtown to Van Nuys for an Appointment. It ran just fine getting onto the 101... which I absolutely should not have Gambled, but Gonzo is as Gonzo does. It ran just as Smoothly as Normal later in the Evening with Cooler Temperatures and Clear Roads, so I took it to Autozone immediately after my Appointment to get a Reading. It came up with CODE: P0840 "Transmission Fluid Pressure Sensor/ Switch "A" Circuit," which came as a complete Relief since I've dealt with Transmission Failures before. Art was the first (by several hours) of 4 Mechanics to Respond to my Yelp Inquiry with a far more Thorough Message than the others. Uniq is located in Glendale, so with Gas Prices being what they are during this Absurd War I had really hoped for anything Closer. But after several Yelp Messages and a Phone Call, Art was already proving to be the Most Professional Mechanic ahead of time. He was as Jovial as he was Informative with his Initial Diagnoses... and given that his Inspection would be Free on top of a completely Expected Estimate and just how clearly he made it that Uniq Motors would get the Job Done right no matter whether the Problem was Fluid, Electrical, or Mechanical, I coordinated with him to bring my Vehicle in that Afternoon. Uniq Motors is located within a 20 minute walk to the Glendale Galleria and Americana where I have AMC A-List, so I was quite pleased with being able to take in a Movie in the Ensuing Hours it would take his Transmission Specialist to Elucidate what was going on and how to fix it. The Kicker? Art had his new Intern, Edgar, drive me to the Theater. It meant so much for this Enthusiastic young man to express his Gratitude for being given Purpose at his new job by giving me an Air Conditioned ride to the Venue. That young man's Pride in working with Uniq spoke so many Volumes of what kind of Ship that Art runs. Several Hours later, I returned to Uniq where this "Home Away from Home" for his Mechanics was filled with the smell of Pizza they had just gotten. Art was somewhat Aghast at how many times he'd had to Flush the Transmission Fluid... 4-5 times, with Fluid so Black and Thick that it had most likely Never been Serviced in the 135K miles it had taken on before I purchased it from a Private Seller in January earlier this year. I made myself Comfortable on his Office Couch while waiting for them to Flush the Transmission completely Clean. They'd had to add enough New Fluid to necessitate going slightly over the original Estimate, which was absolutely Understandable. They also found that the Transmission Casing had a small Leak, so he included that on the Receipt Printout for Future Reference on keeping my Chariot Serviced. I could feel the Improvement in my Car's Performance immediately. I had Zero Doubts whatsoever that I would make it back home in Midtown without a Hitch... and now I'm experiencing a *severely* Improved MPG. Thank you so much Art and Uniq Crew, you are absolutely worth the Drive and Invoice!

My Tacoma which I've had since it was new 18 years ago started making some weird noise that I…read morecouldn't figure out what it was from. I took it in to a place AAA recommended in downtown LA and explain the issue. They told me I needed a new timing chain along with a whole bunch of other stuff and quotes me $4800 for it. This was preceded with a lot of scare tactics on what will happen if I don't have the work done, which came across as very used car salesman-ish. When I ran the quote through ChatGPT I was told they were charging me dealership pricing for an independent mechanic for that type of work in LA. So I brought the truck here to Speedway where I had Minor worked done before and had a good experience. They told me my bearings need to be replaced and did the work for lesson than a quarter of the price I was quoted at the other mechanic. Work was finished in a day and the truck has been running perfectly since then. Had I spent to 4800 at the place it wouldn't have even resolved the issue, which means I would've had to come out of the pocket even more after the initial work was done. Obviously a truck of this age is gonna have some problems and when they inevitably happen again I will be back here at Speedway to take care of them. Highly recommend this place for integrity, quality, efficiency and fair pricing.
