Ever since coming to the Energy Corridor, I've been in a search for a good dry cleaners near me that is ran by a mom and pop. I've had to move away from my previous dry cleaners I frequented since pre-covid and I am glad I found Andrew Cleaner. I wanted an older couple that would give you no bs attitude, on time cleaning and a straightforward transaction for a decent price. I knew I've found it when you go on Yelp to look up the business and the owner posted a picture of himself traveling. I dropped off my suit I wore to a wedding that got rained out with the lady at the front. She gave me a number slip with a price and told me when to come back. I came back at said date and caught the older couple arguing in Vietnamese (Ahhhh just like home). She immediately saw my claim slip i had in my hand and yelled " GIVE ME". (So nostalgic, just like how my mom berated me back in the day) . NGL this is exactly what I was looking for, the suit itself looks great. I def will come back for more business! read more

This is the kind of cleaners that is so helpful, so accurate, so detail oriented, that you keep using them well after you've moved away from the area. I live on the NW side of town now & I *still* use Cindy's. Think that's crazy? My friend Chris moved to New Orleans a few years ago & saves all his dry cleaning to bring back to Houston with him so he can have Cindy's clean it. Yeah, they're that good. We've been using Cindy's for over 5 years, but no more. They shrunk a brand new, worn only once, dry clean only woolen sweater. It was obvious they washed it instead of dry cleaning it, despite having paid for a dry cleaning. I took it back to them to either fix it or compensate us for it. They took it back and tried to stretch it back. When it came, it was stretched really badly. Not only did it lose its shape while still small, the fabric weave was thinned out and almost had holes forming. It was unwearable anymore. When we asked for the price I actually paid for it ($40), they refused flat out and the owner/manager got nasty and rude. Never again. read more

Very good with shirts. Good light starch collars are done nicely and they come buttoned up and plastic to keep the collar nice Would highly recommend great price and service all around read more

I drove 20 minutes out of my way to use this cleaner since they've done well in the past. The last time I went, they had a DOG running around the Richmond drop off location (I'm allergic). Also, the collars on my shirts were wrinkled. Looks like the quality and attentiveness for this place has gone down. I think the previous owner sold it. I will not be going back. read more

Robin's review is right on the money! Cindy's Cleaners consistently delivers quality (twice a month for me). If have used the Eldridge and Richmond locations....no difference in quality or service. I have used A LOT of dry cleaners and will look no longer. Ruined and missing garments are a thing of the past. The customer should not have to hire a Clothing Detective to locate missing dry cleaning items. If you believe your items should look better than they did when you brought them in......then go to Cindy's. There are cleaners which will damage your items, then expect you to pay to have them fixed. I usually notice the damage at 5 o'clock in the morning when getting dressed...not a good way to start the day! Thanks to Cindy's, I avoid this type of "clothing drama". :-)) read more

Been using CINDYS on Eldridge for about 6 months, staff is friendly and thorough which can make them a little slower than other places that just bag and tag. Like coffee I think people expect fast hassle free dropoff and pickup. Here however they inspect all clothes to ensure expectations of cleaning and will advise on how best to clean certain items and the cost. The clothes and receipts are well documented. Clothes are always clean and well pressed. Parking is interesting but the new stoplight helps navigating Eldridge. Overall great service. 4-star only because of communication and language barrier with staff, sometimes it takes one or more person or the manager (who is great!) to translate. read more

I took a wedding dress that was stained with wine, make-up and mud. It had set in for a year! They were able to clean it to near new (after a year it was slightly more ivory from exposure). When I picked it up, there was a faint stain on the neckline. The took it back and removed the stain promptly. The rest of the dress was perfect. It was a higher price than I hoped to pay, but less than some other places, so I was not too surprise at the price. One thing I appreciated was the quick turn around. I was told it could be 3 weeks but it only took a week. I will return with any delicate cleaning I may have. read more

Used Cindy's twice - bad experience each time. First time was in by 9am for same day. Told to pick after 3pm. Stopped back later and told still not ready - come back on Monday. Told them the promised same day - said not their fault. I pushed and got mine - but watched mgr tell three more people to come back on Monday. Not their fault - busy day. Next time - one pair of pants got delayed for stain - come back on Monday. Not there on Monday - come back on Tues. Same again for Tues/Wed. It became clear they couldn't find pants. Asked for refund to buy new pants - no can do, must fill out insurance firm. Not their problem - gals at front didn't tell mgr that he should be looking for them. Called owner. Was promised they would find and deliver to my office on Thurs. Never delivered - "too much construction!" Called again to arrange for Friday delivery - never delivered. Signs say they check batches 6 times!! Yeah, right... Not going back again.... read more

Had pants measured by staff for tailor job and tailor service completed the job incorrectly. Asked for a redo of the hem, but Cindy's was very unhelpful and refused. Would not recommend, especially since measurements were done by Cindy's themselves. read more

I'll take my business somewhere else - I brought them a sports jacket to dry clean. When I got it back, they said their machines ruined the hem but it wasn't their responsibility and still made me pay for the alterations. read more

I've been using Cindy's Cleaners for several years now and have always been very satisfied with their service. I go out of my way to bring my clothes here because of the great service they provide and their attention to detail compared to several other cleaners that are closer to my home. Good experience, just visiting Houston to visit my mom's grave in a near by cemetery and dropped off clothes for the weekend to get cleaned. They did a very good job on my suit and dress shirts. They did an excellent job on scrubbing the cuff and collar really clean on my dress shirts. Customer Service is great. Very polite. The manager, Nida, is great and very nice. read more

you pay for dry clean and they launder, stretched the hell out of my shirts multiple times

We have been loyal customers for the last years but will not be returning......long story short, they got blood on two of our shirts.....a redo didn't get it out and the manager was very rude and refused to do anything about it eg compensation......I called the owner to let him know of the issue but I doubt we will get anything.....they have slowly been increasing prices and now are almost 30%more expensive then a year ago.....we really liked this place but after receiving bloody shirts back we were just grossed out and wont come back read more

I have been going to Cindy's Cleaners for about 9 months and have drop clothes off every week. My clothes typically come back good, they do things I have not seen at other comparable cleaners, like plastic on the collar to prevent wrinkling and paper in the sleeves. In addition to quality I look to for convenience and they make themselves inconvenient, by not adhering to there stated service level. I drop my clothes off before 9, often around 8 with the expectation of getting my clothes back the same day, on 3 separate occasions I have been told that they had too many clothes and couldn't get them back to me until the following day after 5, several other occasions I went to pick my clothes up and was told I would have to come back and still on other occasions I opted to take my clothes else where because they could not meet their same day promise. This inconveniences me, as Cindy's is on my way to work, and whenever I have to come back its a huge waste of time and effort. They do not seem to appreciate the money I spend or be sensitive to my time constraints. They also lost a sweater and when I called and inquired about it (twice) and went there, was told to check my closet. After over a week of this run-around and them having lost a very expensive sweater, I reached out to the owner and within a day, my sweater was found. Despite several conversations and me describing my sweater in detail, one of the workers basically called me a lie and said i failed to describe the sweater correctly. No accountability was taken at all. I spend between $25-$40 a week on dry cleaning and will be taking my business else where. The 90% of things they do right, is over shadowed by the 10% of things they do wrong, to include loosing garments, failing to replace buttons lost during dry cleaning and not delivering clothes back on time. read more
