But what I got back is something so atrocious and a showmanship of lack in basic care. Clearly they don't care of my collar and lapel doesn't fold down it's premade creases. This is the worst cleaners on the planet! They ruined a dry clean only shirt. How do you ruin a VERY expensive shirt that you should be an expert at cleaning. DO NOT GO HERE!!!! Used them to get out a stain that my other cleaners said they couldn't get out. They were able to get it out on the first try! The owner called and kept me updated because I was worried since the fabric was delicate and the other cleaners said it couldn't be scrubbed out. So I also tried them for my husband's business shirts and the price was very reasonable and quality was good too. I put a picture up to show. Stain was on the big white flower. Do you value your hard earned dollars and the clothing and textiles you choose to buy with that? DO. NOT. TAKE. YOUR. THINGS. HERE. I brought in a Z Gallery super soft plush throw for cleaning. I pointed out to the attendant that the tag stated it needed fur cleaning. The tag is still safety pinned to those instructions where GQ Cleaners put it on. I was texted it would be ready the next day. After a week or so I went in to pick it up; no record of it and attendant started picking up different blankets and comforters, "Is this it?" Over and over. Nothing. I came back again, same exact procedure. Nothing. When I told attendant what it looked like, "Oh, I saw that one at the factory." It will be here tomorrow. When I picked it up, I noticed the bag looked small. This was a very plush blanket. After charging me double what the original text said, I took my $180 dollar throw home that was stuffed into a bag (not hanging on a hanger like I've had elsewhere) and opened it to find my blanket totally singed, as in the soft pile was 1/2 what it was before and the fibers were visibly burned. Buyer Beware - Something changed with this cleaner in November 2022. I first realized there were issues when they were unable to locate my clothes for almost a week in mid-November. Just two weeks later, I stopped by at 8:15 am on a Monday morning on my way into work to drop my weekly dry cleaning off only to find the store had not yet opened for the day...at 8:15 am on Monday. I dropped off later that evening but when I tried to pick up my clothes as promised (receipt) on Wednesday, they were not yet ready. Due to my work schedule, I was unable to get by the store Thursday or Friday but I needed my dry cleaning for event on Saturday evening so I made a special 20 mile drive from my home on Saturday morning to pick up my clothes only to find that the store was still not open at 9:00 am...on a Saturday morning! By now I had the owner's phone number and I called to let her know how upset I was. After our call to discuss the latest issue, the owner offered to drive to my house to drop my dry cleaning off so that I didn't have to make another special trip after they opened. After a heartfelt discussion and an apology from the owner, I felt like we were back to square one and I felt comfortable giving them another chance, which I did. In fact, I dropped off my dry cleaning this past Monday morning with a promise (receipt) that it would be ready by 5PM on Tuesday. When I arrived at 5:40 pm Tuesday evening to pick up my clothes... THEY WERE NOT READY! I must admit, that I am now embarrassed that I am still a customer of GQ Cleaner. Oddly, as I was walking out of the store, a late model Chevy Caprice with Mississippi tags pulls up to the front of the store completely full of dry cleaning. Fortunately, my dry cleaning was part of the carload of laundry. I grabbed my laundry from the clerk and let her know in no uncertain terms that they were fired and I would not spend another dollar in the store! Unfortunately, they have my credit card on file and as I was driving home with my dry cleaning, I received a notification that my AmEx had been charged $82+ by GQ Cleaners for the 6 shirts I had just picked up on a $17+ receipt. I'll be disputing the charge with AmEx where I am certain all will be resolved but everyone should be aware of how these people operate. read more

These guys ruined two nearly new brand name shirts of mine. They initially agreed that they ruined them and offered to pay for half the cost of the shirts. However, when I went back the next day they had changed their mind and said they didn't owe me anything. After calling the owner directly he offered me a $20 store credit! They recently shrunk and put a hole in a St. John Collection Top ($395.00) and claimed it came in that way. Flat refused to rectify in any way. You can not get any manager to speak with you. They got flooded during Harvey. We have been patient with them as they have not returned many, many phone messages regarding where our clothes are! They have a sign up that says they have our our clothes safe and sound but where are they??? If they are planning on reopening this business they need to call back their loyal customers and tell us if our clothes were lost in the storm or if they really have them! Have used this dry cleaner over the past six months as it is directly across from my office when I travel to Houston; mainly for laundered shirts and dry cleaned dress pants. To date service has been mediocre; not great, but no major complaints. However, my most recent experience will be my last. I dropped off 4 shirts and two pair of pants for cleaning. I returned a week later to pick them up; the woman working brought out 3 shirts and a pair of pants with my ticket number, but I immediately recognized they were not mine. I spent 10 minutes explaining that these were not my clothes, but she struggled to understand this concept and insisted they were mine because the ticket number matched. She offered no apology or potential resolution, so I left intending to return and speak to the manager/owner at a later time. I have now returned twice and spoke with the owner once; they have still not offered an apology or potential resolution (in fact, they tried again to get me to take the wrong clothes). The value of the clothes is around $500, but I would be happy with an apology and some sort of partial compensation, however, they refuse to even recognize there is an issue. I am still waiting for another call from the owner, but I can say that I will no longer use their service and will make sure any colleagues and friends are aware of how they handle this type of situation. I will provide an update if I do hear from the owner with a satisfactory resolution. read more
