I have always been fond of Andrew Christian's underwear for men. It's specifically geared towards a gay male clientele because the straight counterparts or many of them anyway just aren't into the designs and cuts that this brand puts out. Of course the designer is gay himself so he is going to market in the queer direction anyway (most likely). I have enjoyed the wide range of briefs I have gotten from this brand as well as the designs and feel like the items I have previously owned didn't wear out at an accelerated rate so that's a good thing. I am saddened to hear that it looks like Andrew Christian is going out of business. This store closes at the end of October and then the company will stop making products or go out of business at the end of December. From what I heard it's the surge towards fast fashion that is impacting the performance of this particular company. I am sure even after the company stops functioning at the end of the year you can probably find their products popping up in places like EBay but as time marches on past the closure point I expect that to get more scarce as well. To be honest the store area is very small. But don't let that fool you. There was plenty of underwear to choose from in all different sizes. Sizes were divided into sections which made it easier to find what you want. The store had jocks, thongs, briefs and boxers all available. It was nicely organized and the price was great. I got five pairs for $65 plus tax. You cannot beat that. The factory store also offered swimwear, shorts, pants, tanks and tees. Which I didn't expect and we're all also priced great. The employees weren't very personable our even said much. Which is kind of awkward and uncomfortable. But other than that it was a nice quick stop to get some great underwear at amazing prices. This is an online clothing retailer. They charge shipping rates for all orders, including orders over $100. Not refundable. I ordered shorts that were way too small compared to other shorts I have purchased in the same size from other retailers. I received no confirmation email and it was a nightmare to track down my order. When returning the order you have to ship on your own at your own expense. Neither shipping charges are refunded. I was out $22 shipping with nothing to show for it. Customer service is unsympathetic and unhelpful. Their explanation is they are a "small retailer" and cannot afford to absorb shipping charges. You are an online clothing retailer. Figure it out! Unlikely I will ever order from them again and risk losing more shipping charges on poorly sized items. read more

I'm done with buying from this company! Horrible! Customer Service is the worst! I will also be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. A few months ago I bought SKINNY STRETCH JEAN SHORTS SIZE 28. It was one of the few clothing items from them that I bought that fit well according to their size chart. I bought those shorts and I liked them. According to their size chart on their site I would fit into a size 28 and they fit perfectly...surprisingly as their sizes could be different but you would think its all AC clothing so a small or a size 28 would fit through-out their brand products but NOPE! They had the same shorts on sale titled, "SKINNY STRETCH JEAN SHORTS SIZE 28" but two different colors so I wanted both of them since the last pair of shorts I bought actually, surprising fit well. I received them in the mail and they were waaaaaay to small! I couldn't get them to fit over my thighs and I bought the same size as I did before because they fit and according their size chart, it SHOULD fit me. I emailed customer service to return the shorts and customer service was slow to respond each time and they would respond during off hours and not even during customer service hours. They were no help to me as I felt I shouldn't have to pay for return shipping handling due to an error on either their size chart or an issue with the way the shorts were manufactured, manufactured incorrectly in my opinion based on their size chart on their site. They wouldn't pay for my return shipping as they said "if you order slip shows a size 28 and the tag on your shorts that you received were a size 28, then you must pay for return shipping prices." I believe this is incorrect as this is their fault due to their site showing the incorrect sizing. I paid for the return shipping and they did give me my refund within 24 hours of receiving the package which I was shocked until I saw they deducted the original shipping charges to me! This is unacceptable to pay shipping both ways for something that wasn't my fault but theirs. I did buy one other item but decided to return my whole order as I'm done dealing with company. I would buy items when they were on sale due to the price of their items are too expensive and not for the best quality but during sales - I can justify buying from them if the sale is good enough. Their sizes are all over the place. If I buy a jock strap in small, they fit then go to buy another pair of jock staps in small and guess what -they don't fit! Once the WEHO store closed, I began searching for my Andrew Christians at other places and quickly realized the prices were a bit outrageous. I'd shop online and find that even there if I didn't snag a sale I'd pay 60-70 dollars for a few pairs. This place sells their pairs for 9.95! The shop itself isn't the most glamorous place, but for the price and selection I will say it was more then fine for me. I also appreciated that the store section isn't seedy or dirty. It was well organized and I was able to find what I wanted rather quickly. Some pointers: no cash, card only and if there isn't anyone to greet you when you walk in just push the pink button after you're done and someone will help you. Horrible Customer Service !! Parcel never left their depot and they blamed everything on UPS. When asked to provide a screenshot of their tracking device they declined saying they are not allowed. When asked to re-send it they said they don't re-send abroad. The most ridiculous excuse I've ever heard!! This people just can't be bothered. My husband and I went to the Glendale Outlet Store on a Friday. Yes it was/is small but let me remind you that DIAMONDS come in small packages and indeed this store is truly a little Diamond of great deals and value! The display room though petite is jam packed with fantastic merchandise. You do have to have patience in trying to find your size since the sizes were all hung together. But I don't mind that especially since I'm handling the sexiest men's undies on the market. I found so many exciting new pieces for my wardrobe in my size of small and even my husband who is XL came away well outfitted. I LOVE Andrew Christian clothes and brand so spending an hour going through all the pieces hung on display was heaven. In conclusion the store is NOT one of those large Bougie Retail Spaces at the Americana or Glendale Mall but if you don't mine handling and feeling men's underwear then this is the place for YOU! Don't know why people are hating on this place. This review is for actually physically going to the office, not dealing with any on-line purchases and whatnot. The reason why I went to the actual office is because I heard that there was a random discount that you get for making purchases here, instead of on-line or the actual store in West Hollywood. Over time the clothes have just Gotten so cheap. Two washes Nd the vinyl on the shirts is worn off. Plastic emblems fall off swim shorts and garments. I see Andrew Christian as cheap training wheels for gays. You eventually grow out of them. They need to work on their quality. read more

I am a loyal customer over several years. Had an issue in 2016 whereby the order was "misplaced" by iParcel. AC uses iParcel to process payments on their website. AC processed a new order and sent it but I was charged twice so cancelled the first payment. Then both parcels suddenly arrived and iParcel appear to have blacklisted my email due to their error as everytime I order from then I have to spend ages phoning from the UK to AC customer service to get the order through the processing screen. Is really becoming quite ridiculous and no idea why AC don't seem to value my custom and sort this out!!!!!! Pleased to say that after over 30 minutes on the phone Jen at AC was terrific and sorted my order out. Seems iParcel have indeed "blocked" me due to their error in 2016! When I reached out to customer service I did not get a response. I tried two different emails multiple times and did not get a response. Tried calling the phone number I did not get a response. I emailed them once regarding a return because they had received it for almost 2 weeks and had not processed it. Ordered products a month ago with expedited delivery for a holiday, so needed products within 4 working days. Their website constantly kept saying there were delays. All my inquiries about refunds for the expedited service I'd paid a significant amount for (International customer here) went ignored. Eventually the products did arrive in full and on time, but their Web tracker is just absolutely terrible. I bought one of their mystery subscriptions as it has a first timer deal on and thought I'd give it a go (what I got was terrible and I'll never wear... The questions asked and my answers don't relate at all to what I got imo) so I tried cancelling...... THERE IS NO CANCEL OPTION. I thought since there's no cancel option that it'd ask my permission each month and what shipping service I'd like. It doesn't. It will bill you in full each month, and use the same shipping you initially ordered with. The cost of this subscription was meant to be about £10 or so plus postage, but according to my order they've decided to triple the price without warning or confirmation, as well as choosing the ridiculously overpriced expedited shipping option. Oh and their "easy returns" thing isn't an option either... I out my email address in as requested to find my order..... Doesnt work, can't find my order. So I can't return it, I can't cancel it, they are ignoring my communications, I can't call them as the number won't connect. My order was delivered way outside the quoted 3-7 business day delivery window. Their customer service ignored my initial emails (don't bother using the submission form on their website; it's been broken for months and still is as of the time I'm writing this), but eventually I got through to their phone service. Phone support told me that my order was indeed late and that I was due a shipping refund (~$17, by the way, for UK/Ireland shipping, for three pieces of underwear, with customs/import fees on top of that) so I thought everything was fine. I finally got to talk to their email support, who said that the delivery time on their website is *actually* the timeline for them to give the package to someone else for delivery, so there would be no refund because the package wouldn't be late until both their shipping window and UPS's had expired - about 30 days total, if I recall correctly. I filed a complaint with the BBB and the Attorney General of California's Public Inquiry Unit, and they agreed to refund shipping. It's been more than two months since then, and it still hasn't arrived. FAR MORE IMPORTANTLY, though: Their Director of Operations, Robert Bowen, wrote a letter to my family home in California and outed me to my family. Customer Support told me that my case was a high enough priority that every single person in the department had been briefed on it. Instead of doing the slightest bit of research and finding my email address, my phone number, or my current postal address, Robert Bowen fired off a letter making it look like I was complaining about Covid-19 slowing down shipping (my complaints were about their misleading "3-7 business days" being only a fraction of their real shipping time at the best of times; Covid-19 was not mentioned at all in the complaint) and also got me outed. I've been trying to get in contact with customer service and Robert Bowen for the last two weeks, and they have ignored me at every turn. I bought 10 pairs of underwear yesterday from andrewchristian.com. They weighed maybe a pound, if that. They charged me over $35 for shipping ground. I wrote customer service to express my concern and the response I got was, "we don't control shipping prices, UPS sets them." We appreciate your business. That is bogus beyond believe. $35 from California to DC on UPS Ground would be the rate for a 10 lb package. If those underwear weigh a pound piece I wouldn't wear them. Everytime i have ordered something its come at a timely manner. Ive been a customer for years. And have not had the same experience as the people below. In fact the customer help line was so useful with all the questions and consernse i had. One garment was damaged and i got it replaced within 3 days in mail. There clothing are cute as hell. And i ordered over 100 dollars worth of clothes and did not have the same problem as the person bellow you dont have to expedaite shiping i always put best value. Simply can not understand the low star rating for this place! It was the first time I walked in here since they moved from their last location a block up. I was lucky enough to have walked in during a sale and scored what I'd normally would have paid over $150 for under $70! The staff were very sweet and attentive! It's a lot smaller compared to their last location but it isn't much of a difference. The fitting room was a little odd but then again who needs to try on underwear? I do like their product and would love to buy more but when I went online the only delivery option is UPS Expedited. Using this method would cost $66 to ship $30 worth of product. Doesn't really make sense. I've been waiting several hours for staff to get back to me to see if there is a more cost-efficient way to ship.
