Andover Diner

Great diner with nice decor and vibe. I had lobster bisque soup and a cheeseburger with fries. Owner and staff are very friendly. Definitely glad I stopped here spontaneously for lunch. Will be back for sure to try more dishes.

Eaten a few times here it's ok for a fast breakfast not the best but not much around to compare to. Air conditioning set way to cold and uncomfortable. Kitchen speed not up to par waited on a bowl of oatmeal and fruit cup that took 40 minutes. Again it's ok if you want a mediocre breakfast.

Empanadas de carne, rice and beans

Very uneven. Quality and presentation varies from good to "why did I choose this place". Breakfast is ok but that meal is hard to screw up.

Better than I thought. We were a party of six. Buffalo wings were good. We also had the Greek salad, grilled chicken Cesar, & Cobb salad.

Had the sirloin steak, it was dry and tough. It was way overcooked, got no comp. Shoe leather would have tasted better.

Crispy fries, and my burger, which I asked to be medium rare, was spot on!

Food: We started with garlic bread that was absolutely awesome, followed by grilled octopus with a perfectly balanced, succulent marinade. I had shrimp with pasta, while my mother-in-law enjoyed a fillet of sole stuffed with crab meat and my wife had the cavatelli with broccoli. Everything was flavorful, well-prepared, and satisfying. Service: Our waitress, Casey, was excellent. Always checking in and very polite throughout the meal. She made the whole dining experience feel welcoming and attentive without being overbearing. Aesthetic: The restaurant has a warm, inviting look with stonework accents along the walls and an open barn-style concept. The lighting creates a comfortable atmosphere, and there's plenty of seating for both small groups and larger gatherings.

My husband and I split the Florentine Omelette with hashbrowns and the Ricotta Pancakes. The omelette was tasty, though the potatoes weren't quite my style. The pancakes, on the other hand, were a standout--light, fluffy, and full of summer flavor with blueberries and a hint of lemon zest. The restaurant itself has a bright, open feel and would make a great spot for a private event.

Living in the Mid West now, whenever we come home it's the first thing we take our kids to! Budd Diner did not disappoint! I had to have the Cannoli French Toast was perfect, not too sweet, but the perfect taste! Disco Fries a must! A gyro sandwich, mozzarella sticks, and a breakfast sandwich rounded out the perfect diner experience. Lovely staff, to-go cups for our drinks, nothing better!

We always enjoy a dinner because of all the options. It was a cold and rainy day so the beef barley…read moresoup warmed us up. It was a fair amount of beef, veggies and barley. Plenty of soups to choose from if you are so inclined. Hubby and I wanted to split some mousaka, but alas they didn't have any so I opted for the Greek wrap sans onions. It was tasty but could've used more chicken. It was more of a salad w/ a smacking of chicken wrapped up. Hubby got the chicken raspberry salad. It was huge but considering the size, there was only 1 piece of chicken and he said that it wasn't really seasoned. There were a fair amount of walnuts but he had to ask for more dressing. The apple was cut into slices so hubby asked for a knife and cut it up so he could cut it up himself. He wasn't thrilled with the salad and left half of it which was $18.58! He thought it could use some type of cheese or something to give it more umph. On a side note, they need to update their bathrooms. The toilet was cracked and leaked when you flushed. There were no towels and the hand drier didn't work. All in all, it wasn't the best visit we've had but our server was nice and I would like to come back again and try their coffees.
