Best Middle Eastern Bakery in Canada ! I highly recommend this place to all and worth the visit from groceries to bakeries of all kinds !

I tried their lahmajoun, and it was the worst I've ever had. The taste was off, and shortly after eating it, I felt unwell and ended up sick for a whole day. This is a grocery store/ bakery/ restaurant. They specialize in middle eastern foods. I was here for lunch, shwarma kefta kebabs. The foods are reasonably priced and fresh. My only drawback is that they don't accept credit cards. This makes it less attractive. They supply most of the city with pita bread. Because they are very popular, parking is limited. Wow I wish we had this place In miami. Such an ample and clean location. In here you can find a huge variety of products and their sweets are to die for. One lady at the deli section told me with a bad attitude to that I can't take pictures, but then I saw the yelp page and after seeing how other yelpers posted pictures I decided to continuing Yelping :) We had so many things... Knafe with bread and when I saw that I almost died. Knafe is my favorite dessert made out with cheese, semolina, and a sweet sirup with Arabic spices. We also had the meneesh bread (a bread with this delicious spices) we chose half meneesh half cheese and then the added tomatoes, pickles, and mint. After they wrapped it and put it on the oven to warm up. You will not believe me when I tell you how tasty this was. The different flavors along with the moist bread were simply perfect!!! I was waiting in the line for 10 minutes for food. The man preparing the food called the woman that was waiting behind me. (She was ARAB.) I was in a rush to get back to my work ... I was so upset I just left without buying anything. He looked shocked, which is surprising because it's obvious what happened..The service was absolutely terrible. They really only want Arab's there. The ambience to is trash. I will never step foot in that ratchet place again. Extremely dissapointed after being a loyal customer here for over a year, the quality of the product has gone completely downhill I found mold in one of my orders and upon contacting manegment they did not address the issue, accused me of lying and refused to apologize or discuss recompensation They donèt seem to care about their customers well being and have no regard for any concequences their actions could have had It was a risk to my health and the health of my family, to find mould in a cake after one day is absolutley abnormal and they tried to dismiss me by saying their products have something added so it's impossible for them to have mould read more

I used to go very often but for 2 reasons don't even go there: The boulangerie area ( mini hotdogs etc) the quality got inferior (all bread little filling ) and the guy behind the counter is so rude and mocking if you are not Lebanese, he will even ridicule you in front of other leb customers because you ask one extra question very sarcastic and rude. Such amazing food, such a terrible location. I keep forgetting to drop by for a bite when in the area. I don't know how people without cars can even get here. Everything is tasty and the kebabs are grilled to order, they have regular pizza prepared in advance as well as manakish, lahmajoun and other tasty middle eastern treats. Their pastry section is truly amazing, the namourah is better than my mom's (but please don't tell her). They even have a drive-thru window, which helps since parking in front is hard to get. They seem to specialize in breads, pastries and ready made meals. Not really a cheese, olives, and meats place like Adonis. Their selection is a bit poor if you expect to do your regular grocery shopping here. read more

So I've been coming to the establishment for more than 10 years. Today, excited, i find all my favourite products and approach the cash. When I present my Visa card ( which I have used every single time), the cash lady advised DEBIT only. I challenged her, rolling her eyes - she proceeded to accept my credit card. SHADY!!! I am extremely disappointed. She straight out tried to hussle me. Very bad for business. LIAR! So my sister have an allergy on pickels and we asked the guy who does the sandwiches please watch out and don't put pickels in our sandwiches because we will have to take her to the hospital and he was yeahh don't worry about it .. when we took our sandwiches there was pickels in them and my sister was going to eat it but my mom saw it before ! I love Andalos. I've been coming here for quick lunches the last 7 years, when it was in the dinky 1 floor building next door to it's revamped, renovated new place, the food's always been fantastic value. We were just there on Thursday, ordered 4 shish taouk chicken sandwiches, a small box of salad and a small box of dolmathankia (grape vine leaves stuffed with rice and beef), each item was just under 5$. I included Andalos in my Baklava taste test because it was my favourite baklava. I found the baklava to have a rich butter phyllo taste, the pieces are of adequate size (not too mammoth) and I found it to taste airy and less sweet than most. The pieces come in different shapes and varieties, and truly one that I would go back for. As part of my disclaimer, I only tried their baklava and none of its other products so my review is based upon baklava. read more
