I had to fly to in San Antonio, then get an Uber to the RV place to purchase a 2018 cornerstone after being told multiple times by the sales manager at the tires were new and it had just been serviced now the price tag on this motorhome was $260,000. When I got there the tires were 2017 and the fuel filters were 2023 so it was not serviced and it did not have new tires like I was told that they were put on in November 2025, so two Ubers and two plane tickets and one hotel almost $2000 wasted because of their lies. We bought our RV Bounder in December 2024 in a hurry. We were told we could bring it back anytime to fix anything that needed to be fixed. We live 6 hours away, so it's a trip that needs to be planned. We have only used it for quick weekends once a month to travel an hour away from home. We did notice that the shade was missing from the window over the table, we put cardboard up when privacy was needed, now we put up some curtains with a tension rod. But we had told ancira and our sales man said no problem. One shade does not go up, one commode flushes when it wants to. The door has to be slammed just to get it closed. The thing rattles like crazy when going down the road that the bathroom wall is coming apart. Oh let me tell you we are on our first long trip and bought food for those days and our refrigerator died!!!!! All our food had to be thrown away. We called ancira to tell them we would be dropping the RV off on our way back to have all these things repaired and were then told we only 30 to 60 days after buying it. Wow, now they tell us. Also that they were 3 months behind on repairs. Bull!! DONT buy from them unless you live close by and you have all these things time in the world read more

Went to see an RV and put a deposit down (so we thought). Ancira ran our credit and we were approved and wanted us to go in. They asked if wanted to put a down payment and we said we rather not. We stopped what we were doing and headed that way. Come to find out they sold the RV from under us within 2 hours. Sales Manager was rude and inconsiderate and said they gave preference to us but because we didn't want to put a down payment they sold it to another customer. We were never given the opportunity to work with finance to figure out numbers or anything. If we needed a down payment , we would've done so but they never let us know that was a requirement. They never even ran our deposit to hold the trailer for us. Isn't that the purpose of making a deposit? Bad business. Sales Manager had very poor customer service skills and his attitude towards us made us feel like we were nobody. Never will we ever buy from Ancira. read more

**FIRST TIME RV BUYERS - PLEASE GO SEE TOM AT ANCIRA RV*** If you're nervous, please read to the end. Full stop, I am an anxiety prone millennial girlie with imposter syndrome who has never driven an RV or anything bigger than a 1500. If I could give 10 stars I would! We have shopped around for an RV for a few weeks and went to "the other guy" right down the street. We didn't really feel like anyone cared when shopping there. We saw online that Ancira RV had just what we were looking for, so my bestie went down while I was working to check it out. I know that's weird, but we plan to use the RV together and she had the time available, so she went on down to see it. She met with Tom and he showed her around and she called me later letting me know that she liked it. She also said that the sales person (Tom) was really nice and drove her and her one year old around on the golf cart to get the the RV that was actually really close to the building. This is notable, because the other dealerships did not offer when we went to look and we both had our one year olds in our arms and we had to walk to several units to find the right one. The other guys didn't even know where their RVs were on the lot. My husband and I went back that evening and saw Tom. He immediately remembered my bestie. He put us on the golf cart and we got to check out two RVs, one used and one new. He had the AC going in one of them, so that we could relax and look. We immediately knew that this was the one, and this was the sales guy. We went back to his office where he had already run the numbers for us. My little girl was getting restless, so Tom pulled out his own personal ritz crackers and gave them to her. He danced around for her and made her feel welcome in his office. We made our decision and went home for the night to wait for it to be made ready for us. Fast forward to Saturday and we go and pick it up. The process in the office was easy but the best part was at the end when Tom realized that I was going to be driving it home myself with my bestie. I had never towed anything before but my husband had to go home to start working for the day. Tom realized I was nervous and came to the back. Let me tell you, this man went full blown grandpa/dad mode and taught me how to drive this thing! He drove around in his golf cart while I drove the RV around. I learned to go around turns, make u -turns, go over speed bumps, etc. The whole time, Tom was cheerleading me on. Listen, I trust this man with my life now and will forever give him our business. He gave me the skills that I need to successfully drive and enjoy this rig and provide my daughter with memories of a lifetime. I hopped on the highway right after this with skills and confidence, thanks to Tom. Tom, I hope you see this! We think you're fantastic and will be telling all of our friends about you. First of all sales rep was friendly. Prices are middle of the road. My issue. Found an RV that looked Ok so decided to but in an offer. The sales pitch is they would give me a walk through to make sure everything worked. Sounds good. After I waited we tried to set up a time. The answer unless you pay for it you can't have the walk through. Sounds like Nancy Pelosiand Obama care sign it and you'll see what's in it. Well I did pay and had all sorts problems with the unit when I did the walk through. The way this was handled has taken away my confidence in the dealership. Am I buying a problem is the unit a lemon etc. they want to blame the guy doing the walk through. He was actually very good. Passing the buck has started Still figuring out what should I do. Actually have zero confidence in the dealership. When I tried to unwind the deal they blamed me I saw them trying to force me to get a unit that had real problems not apparent in an external walk through. I asked for my down payment back but they told me they had costs prepping it for the walkthrough etc and gave me only 9000 of my 11000 down. So my take it is everything you don't want in a dealer. If they are true and all dealerships operate like this my feeling is you will save money buying private and the seller can show you anything. If you don't line it don't buy. read more

We went there looking at RV , worked with finance and no one called back not eve our salesman. We decided we would pay cash and called our sales man and asked him if they would hold it for a week till we can have the money transferred. Yeah let me go talk to them - guess what not one call back. I'm sorry but you should call back someone that wants to spend that kind of money at your dealership for a luxury item. I called back three times and not one person returned my call. Considering we own a business I would never treat anyone like this or allow any of our associates to do that either. You should have at least returned. Phone call. You only cared about making money the first day we came in, not making sure that we stayed with you. But this story has a happy ending, I found another dealer and they were amazing. We just bought us a Winnebago minnie plus 29mbh and we loved it! Great for our family and life style. Little that we know, in the very first hunting trip my boys and husband took with it, the trailer is a complete mess!! Ancira knew about the recall on the computer system that turns the heater on and did not do a thing about it!! It's the Dometic Controller with InCommand Keypad. Furnace Will not work below 40 degrees These are on Winnebago and Keystone trailers and 5th wheels. Now my husband and the kids are in 12 degrees weather in Colorado with no heater, absolutely miserable!! Not only that, but the ceiling above the bunk bed caved in with the ice and had to remove my son from his bed in the middle of the night because the ceiling was coming down! There is a cold breeze coming in from the stairs going into the master bedroom making it so cold! It should be a 4 seasons trailer, but it could not make it through the very first trip! Very disappointed of the people at Ancira for not telling us about all the problems before hand. Of course we will not be going back to them for our next purchase. No more repetitive customers for them, so disappointed and MAD!!! Shame on you Ancira RV!! read more

I went to a local RV show and found the exact brand I wanted but didn't want the 23 foot. There was a 19 foot and the search began... leading me to Ancira. a phone call led to an email, led to an online credit application and easy approval. The salesman LaVoy was easy to work with and everything was ready when i arrived. They had someone walk me through every detail of the unit (I'm an RV virgin) and no question was a stupid question... They got me hooked up (literally) and on the road that day.... white knuckle all the way home. LaVoy text me the next day to make sure I was alive and all was well. Great customer service! We purchased a brand new 2015 Forest River Wildewood from Ancira. Sales process was quick and painless. The problem came last month when the main AC unit quit working. The RV has 2 AC units. The reason I'm writing is to give kudos to the service dept (Tim and Jim). I've had previous RV warranty work done at other dealers where you drop off your rig and they have it for weeks, or months. Ancira made an appt for me at 8 AM on June 9th...I waited while they determined that the main AC unit needed to be replaced. They ordered it that day...I left with my RV and headed to Port A...still had one AC...not ideal but couldn't cancel our one big vacation...on the way back from Port A I stopped at Ancira (around noon) and the guys installed the new AC unit within 2 hours! Drove out to this dealership from California, to purchase a new Road Warrior 427. Brought a check for $74,000 with $6700 cash to pick up this trailer. Towed out my trade in 2012 stealth RG3210 they offered me $16,000 for trade in. So we drove all the way there and when we got there they offered me $5,000 less for my trade in than they offered prior to arrival. I had told them everything about my trade in and when I got there they said my whole roof was rotted out and needed to replace the whole thing, seeing as I drove from California they probably knew I would just fork out the additional money which I did. They have since then posted my trade in for sale as is on their website. We called them and they said there is nothing wrong with the roof and it's perfectly fine. So basically they lied to me so I would come up with an additional $5,000. If you feel like getting f#%ked really good. Go to this place they don't have lube either. read more

We purchased a 2019 Winnebago in April of 2019 - My husband and I used savings to purchase this RV outright, so that we could travel extended periods without the worry of a payment. In May, after only having the RV for about 2 weeks we noticed multiple issues. Major plumbing leaks, causing damage to the interior walls, the refrigerator was leaking causing damage, the freezer did not seal properly, the kitchen sink was not sealed causing damage to walls and wood, window leak in the slide causing damage to the wall, water pump issues, bathroom plumbing issues, a leak from outside when it rained, I could go on but, I think I have gotten my point across. Our RV was in and out of the Ancira Service 5 different times, They had our RV for over 7 months and they continued to give it back to us with out completely fixing the problems. The last time it was in service, they called to let us know it was ready for pick up. We arrived and looked over the RV and discovered a new leak with damage in the bathroom. The Service Department Manager acts like its no big deal, that we should take it home and schedule another visit to be repaired. Are you kidding me? We were not about to take this piece of junk back. Ancira had had this RV 7 months out of the 13 months we had owned it, needless to say, our travel plans had been completely demolished. We asked to speak with the Manager of Ancira Kevin Kerr, he was not in. When my husband finally spoke with Kevin he gave us a couple of options - Take it home [ this was not going to happen] to sell it ourselves [ why would we give this burden to someone else?] - We could consign it with them and they would take a percentage but, if it did not sell in 3 months we would have to take it back [ once again NO] - or he would buy it back at a very reduced price, he states that it is a USED RV and that is the best he can do! The RV was in Anciras possession longer than ours, we did not even get to enjoy it. Ancira prides themselves on Satisfaction Guaranteed and Pride of their customer service, Well we are definetly not satisfied and the guarantee is crap.. We are heartbroken and disappointed in Ancira and Winnebago (Whom I have tried to contact on multiple occasions regarding this piece of junk RV and they have not addressed my concerns) We have wasted a substantial amount of money and left with nothing but a bad taste for Ancira and Winnebago. If you are looking for a dealership that stands behind the products they represent and will fight for the customer - This is not the place! What should be exciting, fun and memorable turned out to be expensive, stressful and angry that you can't fix our Winnebago Trailer, a total of more than 7 months and still isn't fixed. Last call for pick up, (unit is fixed), found same issues mainly water leaks, which caused all kinds of damage to the interior, (this happened at your service dept.) Service says we can't find the leak and damage continues. This is your guarantee, "Our aim is to provide every customer with the best selection and finest service, so that when they think of satisfaction, they'll 'Think Ancira.'" Thinking Ancira has made me anxious, stressed and fear for what's next. Talked to Ancira RV manager to get our money back,( Its now a used trailer, He said) he offers $17K, we paid over $33K. Thank you Howard! We were driving to Kerrville when a semi broke our drivers side mirror. The manager took my call, ordered the part needed from pictures, and had us fixed in a couple hours! They fit us in even though they were swamped. Wish all RV places kept space for emergency repairs. While staying in kerrville, a/c broke and once again fitted us in before we left town and diagnosed the problem quickly. They even helped us work with a repair shop in CA to order the part so when we got there it could be fixed! Great technicians and they will explain everything to you and then more! This is the most deceptive dealership we have ever dealt with in buying an RV. Mr. Ancira would be ashamed!!! (I hope). The salesman was polite and nice...but knew had to have known the defects and repairs done to the coach (2015 Bounder 33C) prior to delivery in Texas, as I traveled there from CA. Just pay VERY CLOSE attention to what you are told, AND...inspect your coach to the smallest of details. Ours was delivered with a defective awning...underneath body damage/repaired no doubt at their body shop...roof that is "bubbling" in 12 separate areas along the edges (400 square inches of it!) a "step" that may have been replaced or repaired (the first step tucks beneath the coach, leaving only 6 1/2 inches of actual step closest to the door) and a missing windshield wiper arm at the bolt cover. Although today coaches are expected to need some minor repairs under warranty, this is way over the top. MSRP was 147k, + selling price was 99,900. Can't help wonder, now, why. Beware! Shop around and don't believe everything you are told. I was told the coach was in great shape and in perfect condition. Total lie! The Fleetwood Rep. is helpful and suggested I take it to the dealer here in CA. I visited them already for a "preview" of what I can expect. relative to integrity. As a retired Police Officer talking with the criminal element everyday, I don't see anything changing from our original purchase in Texas. read more
