Class A RV Repairs - Roof repairs & full roof replacements

Class A RV Repairs

I'm not sure why there isn't a review from me here already. I vividly remember writing one…read more Anyway... I had a fight with a narrow bridge that was under construction a few years back. Unfortunately, my RV and I lost the fight. I had some pretty hefty damage down one whole side of the trailer, and the back wall was ripped loose With a about a 6 inch gap you could see into the bathroom through. Class A worked their magic and made that trailer look like new in what I thought was a pretty short time. I could not have been happier with their service. Last year, my slide wouldn't go back in. I labored to get it in manually and took it to be worked on at Class A. They've got it working like new. While it was in the shop, they also resealed my roof for me. While I was there, I asked about RV storage. Not only did they have it, they had it for 1/3 the price I was paying in San Antonio. Even with the added drive to Pipe Creek, I save time because I'm not dealing with the traffic getting to the Tally Road area. I recommend Class A for any service you need done on your RV. It is a very good company. The office staff is very friendly. Oh... I should mention how one of their technicians stayed on the phone with me for over an hour telling me how to get my slide back in manually so that I could tow it to the shop. He was awesome!

They got us in right away but had to finish the work the next day so we were able to stay in the small rv park Adjacent to the shop in pipe creek. This is a gem of a repair place because we all Know you're going to need a repair on that rv! Hope we Don't have to visit them again but if we need a repair in the hill country we know where to go!

Subject: Trailer Damage Report - Negligence While In Your Care…read more Dear Outdoor Living RV Team, I am writing to express my profound dismay and frustration regarding the state in which my trailer was returned after being in your care. The damages inflicted on my trailer were completely preventable, and I am absolutely upset about this situation. I trusted you to take care of my trailer, but when I got it back, it was covered in mold and cost over $1,400 to fix. My insurance is charging a $500 deductible, which I feel you are responsible for paying. Timeline of Events: Tuesday, May 9, 2023 I dropped off my trailer at 8:00AM for it to be resealed and to get an inspection. I told Cory that the last time it rained, I noticed water on the floor of my RV but didn't know where the leak was coming from, and for him to please check all the sealed joints. He agreed and quoted me $300 for that job and $238 for the 28-Point-Inspection. He told me that morning that it might take up to 2 weeks before he could look at it, at which point I asked to take it back home and bring it back closer to when they would be able to look at it. His response no, that he preferred to have it on the lot in case he had time to look at it sooner. Wednesday, May 10, 2023 During that very day and night, we got a ton of rain and wind, so, knowing my trailer had leaks somewhere, I texted Cory to see if my trailer was covered and if not, if the water leaks were taken care of. I was unable to reach Cory by text, so after calling quite a few times, I finally got hold of Cory who said he would take care of it. I offered at the time to go check on my trailer myself, and to dry it up if need be, but again, Cory said no, he would take care of it. What Cory ended up doing was putting a tarp over my trailer WITHOUT LOOKING AT ALL to see if water had leaked into my trailer. It was there to have leaks fixed, of course water got in. But no, instead, it was left there to rot for two more weeks causing a ton of mold damage (see photos). Two Weeks Later... I eventually get a call from Cory about 2 weeks or so after that initial date. I was excited, I thought my camper was ready to get back on the road, all fixed up and ready to go. But no, I was told to come look at the damage that Cory's carelessness caused, and to call my insurance to have it fixed. The insurance asked me for an estimate, which I tried getting from Cory, but he completely stopped responding to me. I found someone else who was responsible and professional, got my estimate and was able to get my trailer fixed. These damages caused me a lot of trouble and money. It's hard to believe a company like yours could treat a customer's property this way and then not try to rectify the situation. I'm really disappointed with Outdoor Living RV, and I wrote them this letter asking for some compensation and still did not heard from them. So I do NOT RECOMMEND this place ever!

American Dream Vacations - Climbing on top of the RV to find part numbers and make repairs

Full video walk thru HERE https://shorturl.at/xKpOH…read more Do not take your family here!!!! Our third rental was an unregistered vehicle that had not been inspected in three years and had endless issues that plagued our entire vacation and added days of driving around the desert in 100+ temps WITHOUT AC to find parts and/or a mechanic. Our first two rentals (2001 and 2017) had zero issues, so the lack of customer service wasn't evident until we had dangerous problems on our 2024 trip... and then they left us on our own, with a piece of garbage RV falling apart around us in the sweltering summer heat... three women, a 4 year old child, and a very hot dog . Literally, the manager (David) left for the day without calling us back, knowing our predicament, after being repeatedly asked to call us back over several hours. Thanks, David In addition to the AC not working, no cruise control, and the truck engine overheating, plus the rental car and hotels during the worst of the mechanical problems, we also discovered that the microwave didn't work, so ALL the food we had prepped in advance to "heat and eat" was a waste of time and money. I briefly considered burning the RV in the desertand flying home, but I look awful in orange. This is not a real threat, just a very real example of how frustrating the entire ordeal was. We eventually fixed the issues (over and over) and ADV offered ONE day free, but we had to rearrange our whole trip at the height of travel season to accommodate the issues with our existing reservations, so we wound up needing additional fee extra days to get home, but the 4th of July closure made it so we couldn't return it until SATURDAY. Guess who had to pay for those days we didn't need? We did. We were supposed to be home on the 29th, finally got home on the 3rd, and had to pay in advance through the 5th because of their mechanical problems. When we brought it back, we received ZERO APOLOGY for our hardship and were NOT allowed to speak to the manager we repeatedly asked for... who was standing right out front and totally ignored us when we drove up in that rolling safety hazard, and again ignored our request to speak to him, brought by a customer service rep. When we walked up to him outside he was rude and blamed his sales reps for not dealing with the situation. Eew, David. Our family trip to see multiple national parks was turned into a nightmare from day one thanks to this irresponsible business. We will NEVER use them again. Photos of the BROKEN ladder we had to climb daily to fix the AC, because the AC motor mount would come unscrewed every time you used it and sounded like rocks tumbling in a dryer. We originally paid $5,234.20 for two weeks and had to pay $1,061.70 for the extension, for a total of $6,295.90 plus another $865.29 in hotels, rental car and über to try to resolve all the problems. That doesn't count plumbing parts, tools we had to buy, or extra gas driving to different cities looking for a mechanic. Ten days after we returned the RV, the ONLY response has been a $347.69 refund, which comes nowhere near to covering the extra hotel and rental expenses we incurred and submitted for reimbursement, let alone the extra days we had to reserve. No phone call, mail or email to apologize for anything or communicate any resolution. We will now be seeking legal counsel due to the major safety issues we were left to deal with on our "vacation" in one of their unregistered rental units. Johnny Hernandez at Traveltown Texas in Helotes never made us feel like we were obligated to purchase anything right there and then. He didn't ask us for contact information or annoyingly call us back everyday asking "you still interested?" but rather gave us his personal cell and told us to call him whenever we felt ready. What I appreciated most was he let us see EVERY RV we inquired about without hesitation. Other RV dealer salesmen would say something to the effect of "sure we can look at it but it's $5,000 or $10,000 more," which always rubbed my husband and I the wrong way since we never asked for the price. We ended up purchasing a R-Pod with Johnny because we loved the layout and because he didn't try to sugar coat anything and reel us in with the usual "buy now while we have a sales price". He was honest about the "true" discount and just very informative. It was like buying from an old friend. He gave us the pros and cons with everything. Being new RV owners we were fish out of water but he made us feel confident. When our running lights didn't work we came back to Traveltown and Johnny hooked us up immediately with his Service Mechanic - Nick. After a long number of tries we realized it was our actual truck's fuzes. Nick helped us all the way, which he didn't have to since it was not an issue with the RV/trailer itself but our vehicle. I know had we gone to a big box RV dealer we would have had to make an appointment and then turned away to figure it out on our own. Nick was extremely helpful. We love our RV and would tell anyone and everyone to purchase from Traveltown Texas in Helotes!
