I'm not a mathematician but I know 40% of $72 is not $48. I argued with him for a few mins but then realized it was completely pointless. He just pointed at the screen and said "that's what the system is calculating." I left and called three other authorized Grand Design dealers and they all gave me a quote of $99. I just felt like he was intentionally trying to rip me off...or apply the "Boerne tax.". If you go there, just double check all the prices they give you. Felt slimy. I won't be back there for anything. Too bad, I know I would have upgraded my camper before too long and this would have been my first stop.

After reviewing install video I observed that to that work you removed most of the paneling in the trunk -- which also totally exposed the main battery. Even though it was fine. I though I might go ahead and replace it if there was no additional install cost. I was clearly told that they WOULD NOT CHARGE ME TWICE IF NO ADDITIONAL WORK WAS NEEDED FOR THE MAIN BATTERY. When I brought the auto I repeated my understanding and said if that was not the case then I did not want the main battery replaced. I would then wait until it was actually defective. GUUESS WHAT!
