I put a 1K refundable deposit on a travel trailer at the end of December. After deciding not to proceed with the purchase Funtown refused to refund my deposit (contrary to the written sales order). It took countless phone calls and emails to get in contact with someone outside of the Cibolo location. Only escalating the refund refusal to upper management and quality-assure was my refund initiated. It took several business days to receive the refund into my account. Do Not put a deposit to hold a unit and if they refuse to refund you do not accept that as it isn't a legal practice. Just my frustrating experience hope it isn't a common practice here. read more

Funtown was a much better experience from buying, to financial to actually picking up the camper process. WATCH OUT FOR THEIR SCAMS. IF YOU ARE NOT IN THE SALES BUSINESS AND HECK EVEN IF YOU ARE THEY WILL TRY TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOU. This place submitted a credit application asking for a loan 15K higher than what we agreed to. They said it is to compensate for any warranty packages you may purchase. THIS IS ILLEGAL. THEY LIED ABOUT OUR INCOME ON THE CREDIT APPLICATION. FunTown quoted us a monthly payment $150 higher than the price agreed upon and tried to pass it by as warranty packages. We ended up buying our trailer from Ron Hoover and have had an amazing experience aside from the fact that the bank that originally approved our loan no longer wanted to work with us because we "lied" on our application. Thankfully we have found a bank that has approved our actual information submitted on the application. THANK YOU to finance at RON HOOVER BOERNE for your honesty and transparency when working with the banks. We have already reported them to the Better Business Bureau. Additionally, Mark, Tony and Marcos were kind, helpful with my questions, knowledgable, professional, diligent, and reassuring with knowing the amount of time and expertise needed to figure out the problem with the happijac beds. They were upfront saying it was not an easy task to determine where the problem is with the chain system (so many chain links) but that it could be done. The Fun Town RV service team significantly reduced the bill to a much more reasonable amount. I appreciate that we were able to come to an amicable solution. They said they weren't able to make the proper repair to the refrigerator wiring because if anything happened later, they could be responsible. That makes sense. Update 4/4/2024. Originally, I had gave them a 3 star rating but today I am making an edit to 1 star. I received a voice-mail a week ago about my RV plates being ready for pick-up. I called on 4/3/2024 to confirm they're indeed there and ready to pick-up, I was told yes, just come in the front to the receptionist and they'll be ready. I came in the next day, (1 hr drive from my home) to waste 30 minutes of them looking for my plates for them to tell me, they accidentally might of gave them to someone. They don't know, and know someone has my information and they have to order new ones and mail them to me. Now I have to wait and drive 1 hour back in traffic, 2 1/2 hours wasted on a work day. Disgusting with the customer service. Also, on 3/15/3024 I had purchased additional items for our RV and when we took them they told us it was incomplete but they had ordered the missing part, and that as soon as they receive it they would call me. I called on 4/3/2023 to get an update and they told me they had forgotten about it and apologized, that they would now ship it to me. Honestly, worst dealership ever. Definitely do not Recommend. It was a pleasure to work with Connor, he made the paperwork process be smooth. (5 ) Casy was another great person to make business with, we walked away with additional items thanks to him. (5 ) Sean did our walk-through of our fifth wheel and went over everything with us. He answered all of our questions and gave us confidence. (5 ) Not so great in regards to our salesperson (John) the experience was not great or good. We weren't able to negotiate a deal with him but we did with the finance person. Also our salesperson was very hard to work with. We confirmed our appointment, then we re-confirmed with another person who called us, then again the day before and then again the morning of. It was so irritating, we are grown adults and we felt pressured and over communication. Definitely did not appreciate any part of it, we went through with the deal due to the other employees. (2 ). Overall the place is nice, big, clean, have minimal toy section for kids but it's nice, clean facility, great selection of RVs. read more
