I had carpet installed at a cost of $13,500. When my wife returned home, she saw an area of carpet…read morethat was wet and appeared to be stained. The outsourced installers said that it would not leave a mark. And, of course it was stained. How could the installers spill something on the brand new carpet? How did it get there? Nobody but the installers were in the home. And, they admitted to having been who cleaned whatever it was. Flooring Direct sent over a product for cleaning the stain. I asked the owner to replace the section of carpet where the installers spilled something. No, Navid refused. Sleazebag owner operator. Then he sends me the invoice with updated charges with a payment due date which was 5 days in the past making it seem like I am overdue even though the job was not complete yet. This owner/manager will make arrangements for the installation but he will not stand behind the damages that his installers caused. Who wants brand new carpet that have had a soda or dirt spilled on it? I don't go to a clothes store and expect to buy new underwear which comes with a skid mark... Go elsewhere or be the next victim of this shoddy business. Here is how Navid, the Owner, handled the refund due to defective service and faulty materials. No content is anything different than what was actually sent to me or from me. This unhinged communique took 1 week after the Owner, Navid, was to have mailed me a refund for defective merchandise. Me: "No check has been received yet..." Navid: "I waited to see if you would respond. Zelle would have been fast and easy. I mailed it out yesterday. I hope this does not frustrated you." Me: "Yet another passive aggressive attempt to mess things up... Hopefully you can not muster any more incompetence in this matter. It is beyond frustrating." Navid: "I actually helped you more that you can imagine. So shame your anger has caused you to see things clearly I asked a simple question. Why was it so hard to answer? Take a pill. I actually helped you more than you can imagine. It's a shame your anger has kept you from seeing things clearly. I only asked a simple question--why was it so hard to answer? Maybe you need to take a step back and calm down." Me: "Once again, just send me the funds so that I can be done dealing with you. I have more important things to tend to than being dicked around by some lowly shopkeeper." Navid: "Careful little boy. Check was mailed out. I am just getting sick of your nonsense. I am out of town. I make sure I call you personally to deal with your unjust words and personal attack once I get back. I feel so sorry for you. I am sure your childhood must have been a unpleasant one. Take a pill Me: "F**k off kindly." Navid: "Definitely. Must be a childhood issue. How bad was it??" I had to block him as he continued making personal attacks and by name calling. In Closing: Is this a person that you trust to have your email, phone number and address? Is this a business person that you can feel comfortably to provide fair, professional service? I think not! This man is unhinged. Beware.

We hired Flooring Direct to refloor our approximately 700 sqft living room with tile. The most…read moredifficult part of the job would be the curving steps into this space as you can see in the pictures. Where others said it couldn't be done or offered solutions that were not tile, Flooring Direct said they could do it. I'll admit that it was a challenge to fully conceptualize how to do it but working with Moji and our installer, Jose, I believe the results justify the effort. The old carpet quickly came out and the initial part of the tile that was straight went in in about two days. Jose spent some time cutting and grinding to get the tiles to match the curving steps but was all finished by the following Friday. Jose and his assistant, Gustavo, were both courteous & professional throughout the project as was Moji who came by often to check on the progress and to be sure we were satisfied with how it was coming together. All the steps from tile selection through scheduling, layout, designing transitions, grout selection and final cleanup, were all pleasant. Would not hesitate to use them in the future and highly recommend them for your consideration.

Apollo Flooring earned three stars specifically because the installation went well, the carpet looks…read morenice and they were able to install in a quick timeframe. Would we use them again? Likely not. My husband and I stopped at the store to price out some carpet. We already had a professional measure our room, so we had dimensions with us for an estimate. We picked out carpet and received an estimate which included everything except sales tax. The sales person still needed to come to the house and do his own measurements (which were approximately the same as we had) and he brought a sample of the carpet as well as some other samples since he knew I wasn't thrilled about the color. After consulting with my husband via text, we decided to go with a carpet that according to the salesman, was cheaper than the original we picked out. When we sat down at the table, he added everything up and I was very surprised to find the price was more than what he quoted in the store even though this was supposedly less expensive (and better) carpet. After promising a quick timeframe for install, we decided to go ahead because we had family coming from across the country and needed time to get things done and get the room back together. We really didn't have time to mess with getting more estimates. The price discrepancy took one star from the review. The salesman cost the store another star because he broke the unwritten rules of sales, which is to never bring up politics or religion during a sale. We're buying carpet, not canvassing for a politician or looking for a church. I don't need to know who someone is voting for or what their religious beliefs are during a sale. The audacity of someone coming to my house and questioning my voting choices is astounding. If we weren't in a hurry to get this job done, we would have canceled the sale and showed him the door. He seemed like a nice guy but extremely inappropriate.

Apollo Flooring wasn't the least expensive but we based our decision on personality and the best company to work with. The fact that they've been in business since 1959 didn't hurt either. We were not disappointed. In fact, they Exceeded our expectations. Work done on schedule in a clean and professional manner and original contract adjusted to reflect actual work done. A HUGE shout out to our salesman Steven Bilsky and the Awesome installation crew of David Lee and Johnny. 5 Stars all around!!

They required an approval code and balance paid in full before starting the job. Lead installer said he would come back the following Monday or Wednesday to complete the work. We have heard nothing. Customer support claims the job was marked complete, and said we have to now wait for an installation supervisor to call back to arrange completion. This is NOT acceptable. They have no problem taking your money, but do NOT provide what they promise. Completely unprofessional outfit. Don't fall for their misleading advertising and do your research as to just WHO will be performing your installation

The company has done nothing to resolve this yet nor have they been helpful. I myself typically do not like to leave bad reviews unless something drastic has happened. I had to redo their transition strip from the kitchen to the bedroom. They installed it using silicone to glue it down instead of anchoring the metal bracket to the floor and pressing in the transition down like it's supposed to be. After spending over $5000 you think it would've been done correctly. They were also misleading in the price and when they showed up to start the work, they had added extra cost. Keep an eye on your things folks when you have unknown contractors show up your home. I hope you guys do the right thing and prosecute the technician, or technicians that were at the home stealing while working.

When the installers showed up on 10/11/2017 they were cordial and worked fast. They did our bedroom last and I was told that they had cut the carpet too short. Because of this, they had to place a small approx. 1" strip of carpet on the doorway to create a seam with the bedroom and the rest of the carpet outside. I was a little concerned because this is the most trafficked area in the entire house, but they brushed it off as it was not a big deal. Fast forward to 7 months later. The seams are coming apart! I called their office and Howard, the owner, came to the house to look at it. He said that that work was not acceptable. He took some pictures and left with the promise to do something about it. A month went by and after not hearing from them, I went to their store. I was once again promised that someone was going to call me to fix this but it has been almost two months since. Please do yourself a favor and do business somewhere where they can stand by their work, this place is not it.
