My daughter and I were getting ready for the school year. With our scheduled cram and having to spend the day in Boca, I wanted to try and squeeze in some quick manis and pedis. Walking in the place looked great. It was chiq with chandeliers and was quite charming with just a few mani and pedi chairs. The tech mentioned she was the only one at the spa at the time which I thought was odd but maybe she's squeezing us in a, by appointment only schedule, so I went with it. My daughter was treated very roughly when her cuticles were getting pushed and the tech cut them (she's only six). Every princess mani she has ever received the tech never cuts the cuticles. Than it was my turn the tech used the same tools and when I put my feet in the pedi water I could feel the dirt and saw a ton of hair in the water. The third and last time she did my hair, it looked awful. She stripped out all of the demension and replaced it with orange. She was on her cell phone the entire time I was processing. I texted her the same day and told her my hair needed correction. Sorry honey, I have dinner reservations at 6:00. We'll, I was leaving for vacation Tuesday at 6:00 am and her salon was closed until then. I texted her all day the next day. No response for 9 hours until I sent her to spam and deleted her number. I called the owner and she had an attitude on the phone. They both had an attitude when I went in to get it fixed. She said that's not orange, I'll show you orange. Well it's orange to me honey. They thought it looked great so what's there to fix? In the meantime, all of my fiends have asked me what happened to my hair. I told the owner and Jen I would pay someone else to fix my hair. The answer was ways Kelly so finally I decided to try her out for my vacation. It was my first time doing dip powder nails so I was a little nervous. I've done gel shellac before and they ruin my nails. They literally peel off in layers after I get the shellac removed. I hated the results even though it lasted a long time. Many say the 'healthier' is dip so I asked Kelly if she could do nail art on dip and she very happily said yes. They have SO many dip powder colors to choose from, it's overwhelming. I showed her a picture of what I wanted on PInterest and she tried her best to mimic it but the glitter she used wasn't quite the same. Kelly was very precise in cleaning and shaping my nail and cuticles. I wasn't expecting her to use a dremel and it made me nervous at some points but she did a good job. Then the long tedious process of dipping my 10 fingernails began. Kelly was patient and never rushed. I definitely recommend her. Price was good too. You get a discount if you go back for a fill instead of a first time full set.
