I ordered the chicken sub. It was well worth it! Good price, good taste, large portion... absolutely happy for giving it a try. The sub bread was toasted so well, the chicken was grilled and seasoned to the perfect amount, and the veggies + sauce were a great combination. Loved it! Will definitely be ordering from them again. All in all, The chicken sub is a definite hit and a good recommendation.

This place was completely disappointing! I ordered the chicken shawarma and it looked like cat food. Extremely dry to the point it looked dehydrated. It didn't even come with rice. I would never order from here again.

Really liked this place for its concept in Middle Easterner fast food. It was fast, fresh, delicious and reasonably priced. It would have been awesome if the menu stated what goes on the sandwiches. It would have been even more awesome if they let you choose the toppings you wanted on your sandwich, like a Subway or Chipotles. The only reason this place did not get a 5 star rating for me is because the demeanor of the staff. Friendly service with a smile is so hard to find in Middle Easterner restaurants unless you're Middle Easterner, which I am but I don't look it. I will definitely revisit this place because of the fresh food, natural ingredients and the general appearance of the dining area.

Now this is 'sub' HEAVEN. My Lebanese buddy brought out here after a so so night out. I am totally hooked, we both had the chicken sub & I'll say it was pure perfection. The toasted french bread w/ sesame seeds, the freshness of the tomatoes, pickles & other toppings. The chicken was prepared well & sitting in an awesome au jus waiting to get piled onto sandwiches. Normally this is not a place I would tell anyone about (I'd keep the secret, it's that good!) I know the location is kinda tuff goings but I encourage all of you to try it, going back tonight for a 'steak sub' tonight, lol...

Probably the best chicken shawarma we've had in Michigan. Closest to authentic Lebanese.

Best food in Dearborn and Dearborn heights! You can't really compare when it comes to their shawarma, subs, and cocktails.

The Fajita Sub was loaded with chicken, cheese, and toppings and was solid. The crispy bread had a satisfying crunch and the flavors were bold and tasty. The chicken tenders, albeit frozen, were actually very well fried and seasoned. They even gave us extra tenders in our order for free as well as a free water! On top of that, for no extra charge the order came with many different tasty sauces to choose from. Zaghloul is affordable and tasty with people who put the customer first!

Unfortunately the location in…read moreDearborn Heights just isn't somewhere I go very often so it's been stuck on my list for the longest time. They opened a second branch in East Dearborn recently which finally allowed me to give the subs a try. The restaurant itself is quite small and is mostly a takeout destination. There are only 14 seats in the small dining room, a small fridge stocked with drinks, and the order counter, from which you can see the kitchen. I went in on a very empty weekday lunch and got one item, which took about 10 minutes to come out: Lebanese Sub, Half ($8.99) - They toast this sub well, resulting in a very nice crunch on the exterior. Just be careful eating it - you can pretty easily lacerate your gums if you're not careful! The interior is moist for the most part, with a bit of a mild garlic and mayo mixture that covers all the ingredients. There's a double layer of grilled chicken breast that forms a base layer, followed by some fries that are crunchy on the exterior and fluffy on the interior, and finally a layer of crunchy and acidic pickles. The chicken is the weakest part of the dish - some pieces are overcooked, dry, and tough. It's most noticeable in the thickest areas where there's not enough mayo/garlic to add moisture to the sandwich. Still, overall I found the sub to be good and the ingredients all complemented each other well. Note: The little red tray that they served the sub in smelled heavily of bleach and my first couple of bites had a slight whiff of bleach thanks to that. If you eat here, I would recommend removing the food from the tray before eating. Zaghloul Subs is definitely worth a try.

Side Chic's blows them out of the water along with every other spot in Detroit/Dearborn (Savvy Sliders, Checkers, KFC, Chic Fil A, Chick N Kingz etc.) The breading on the tenders is very, very flavorful. They also put the perfect amount of breading on each tender. I absolutely hate overbreaded tenders where it feels like you're chewing through multiple layers till you hit chicken. Side Chic's avoids this completely by having a nice layer of breading that adds flavor and doesn't distract from the chicken. The chicken itself is hot, juicy and well textured. This is not rubbery, dry chicken. The only other way I can describe it is it just tastes fresh. I was thoroughly impressed. Side Chic's is a carry out spot that's open very, very late (which is awesome). Everyone who works there is incredibly pleasant and helpful. Also, even though the chicken is fresh and made to order, your food comes out in a fairly quick manner. I really can't say enough good things about Side Chic's. I came recently and the fries, fried pickles, and sauces were all great! The chicken was still okay, but not seasoned the same way as before. Still moist and tender tho. There's was oil all over the boxes though and staining like a seventh (or 14-18%) of the paper bag. That's a lot. The box was dripping oil. Tasted great other than comparing the chicken to the first time. i'm confused about the lack of reviews. I'm thinking I have the wrong page...

I was blown away to find that nothing has changed. Think about that: COVID broke the world, but Super Greenland held the line on prices, while still offering fantastic variety and quality. You can still get a bag of 8 of the freshest pitas you've ever eaten for $1.49: they're so fresh the bag still has steam in it. The baba ganoush is smoky and freshly made for only $3.49 a pound. Other deli offerings are similarly priced, and high quality. I'm not exaggerating when I say they have hundreds of spices and seasonings. I don't think twice about spending $4 for 1 ounce of cinnamon sticks at the supermarket; here, $4 gets you 6 ounces of cinnamon sticks. They have an entire aisle devoted to pickled things here. If it can be pickled, they have it here. And, do I have to tell you how much cheaper it is here than anywhere else? Oh, and do you like baklava? Of course you do. The variety of that alone is also impressive. I sometimes forget that this is also a regular grocery store. The produce is high quality, and nicely priced. With all the phenomenal middle eastern things here, I'm strangely disappointed that they also have boring things like Froot Loops, Ragu pasta sauce, and other mundane things. It's sort of like the opposite of the "international aisle" at a normal supermarket. I gave Super Greenland a great review before, but I actually think I sold them short.
