I am not a fan of the new owners and their style of pizza. I ordered a pie with FRIED eggplant online then traveled 15 extra minutes out of my way to pick it up, which i would have never done if i knew it would turn out like this.. somehow they put grilled eggplant on it & it doesn't even taste as if its cooked. It's so difficult to bite through the pizza, let alone the eggplant which you cannot even bite through. Drinks took another 20. Waited an HOUR for 2 pizzas, one of which was completely inedible-raw and disgusting. This place either better get itself together-or it will become a bygone memory. I usually dontpost bad reviews about restaurants, but this had to be written. The waiter that my family and I had seemed drunk. He couldn't remember any of our orders. The food was good but we had to wait over 40 minutes for our food. When the finally came out it was satisfactory. Our waiter was very apologetic and was acting nervous and totally out of it. I would give to this restaurant 2.5 stars just for the dough of the pizza, which was really good. I came here on a Sunday night and there were not many people, maybe other 2 or 3 tables. We ordered 2 small pizzas and had to wait half an hour for our pizzas to arrive cause they were giving the priority to the pizza for delivery, quite annoying. The fratello classics was ok, I'm not a fan of their sauce but I had to admit that the dough was good, similar to the one I have all the time back home in Italy. I've come here in the past and always has decent experiences. The food is lacking and they need a new chef or the chef needs some honest feedback. The sauce is everywhere, and it's over sweetened which takes away from the otherwise good ingredients. I ordered a grandma pie, baked ziti, and the ravioli with butternut squash. The pie was edible but laced with sugary sauce. The crust and cheese and fresh basil were Familiar so with a modest change, this pizza could be excellent. The "baked ziti wasn't that, at all. Rather, it was ziti floating in sauce, with melted mozzarella on top. Baked ziti is baked. This version was what I'd expect at a diner, but not at an Italian restaurant. Service by Julia was quite good. All the staff were friendly, actually. I'll try it again; my advice is say "light on the sauce" or steer clear of it all together. read more

We came Saturday for my cousins communion lunch. There was 13 of us, and the table was all ready for us when we got there. The server was very friendly and accommodating, and stayed on top of everything, making sure no one needed anything like another drink or extra plates. The food was great. We got a bunch of appetizers, antipasti salad, mozz sticks, Caesar salad, house salad. I personally ordered the house rigatoni off the lunch menu and it was delicious, with a heaping scoop of ricotta cheese on top. I also go a side of sausage. Two of my cousins ordered off the brick oven pizza menu, and they both loved it. I tried a slice and it was delicious. My boyfriend got the sausage and peppers hero and enjoyed it. Most of us had food to take home! Everyone really enjoyed their meal and the service was top notch. They even put on the ranger game for us on the tv! (It's playoffs people!) This institution is RACIST. I do not say that lightly. We were the only family of color in there, and everyone who came in after us was served promptly, assisted multiple times, and received food before us. We'd ask for water refills and bread and were ignored but the tables around us were constantly served. The waitresses were disdainful and made it clear we were not wanted there as they made faces, begrudgingly sat us down, and never once checked in or asked about our food to the kitchen despite our wait and inquiries. Lastly, when we tried to give benefit of the doubt and went to ask about our food directly to the man behind the brick oven, we were told the food had not been put in yet as the man (maybe the owner) flicked us off. We left promptly, and I'm still beyond disgusted from this experience. Avoid supporting bigoted places like Fratello's at all costs. We were able to get pizza by going to Frank's Pizza (3 min walk). Frank was kind and treated us like humans, unlike Fratellos, and I would highly suggest taking your business to a place that stands for humanity. read more

Nestled in downtown Warwick is a nice family style Italian restaurant with great brick oven pizza. I love the fact that brick oven is literally in the middle of the restaurant. There are numerous pizza options to choose from and it was so hard to decide on which one. We settled for the meat lovers which was an excellent choice. We needed a place to get dinner with our friends and they recommended this local place. We ordered 3 pies, one with shrimp, one with pears and the last with Bruschetta. I rarely write reviews but my experience at Ana's was great I wanted to share! Was in town and needed to find a place for my mother and I to have dinner. We were so pleasantly surprised and happy to have found Ana's. Every single dish we got was amazing. My mom loved the octopus appetizer - said it was tender and great flavors. I had the stuffed mushrooms with goat cheese which was delicious! The chicken franchese was fresh, perfectly cooked and the vegetable and potatoes sides were great (pleasantly surprised to have Brussels sprouts mixed in). We couldn't resist the desserts which were clearly homemade - tiramisu and a cannoli were the best we have had!! Jessica our waitress and the rest of the staff were so nice and explained that Ana's had a new name and owner, and older reviews are from the previous owner and menu. We were in the mood for their pizza and had reservations. Even with that it took 30 minutes to receive the appetizers we ordered. It took an additional hour to get our pizzas. We were told on several occasions that "our pizzas would be there in a few minutes." While the food is good it was not worth the wait. It appeared that many of the pizzas were being sent for delivery rather than taking care of their dine in customers. I would really think twice before returning. The server was friendly, polite and apologetic, but this did nothing to offset the amount of time waiting for food. read more

We had a very disappointing experience here tonight. The waiter was not nice to us, the brick oven pizza was soggy, the lasagna which we have gotten there a few times before tasted bad, the spinach salad soggy and the soup bland. We waited 30 minutes for the waiter to take our order and my husband said he would order a drink from the bar with the meal and the waiter never came back to ask him what he wanted. In May of 2018 on social media I remember writing the following: Fresh, delish and great service. Managed to get seated within five minutes, without a reservation (on a Saturday night). Highly recommend this restaurant. The brick oven in the middle of the restaurant is beautiful. Having just dined here this week in November of 2019, sitting next to the brick oven really assisted in keeping me and my friend cozy as we enjoyed our scrumptious fried calamari, while waiting for our main course. My experience with Fratello is limited to one meal and 2 dishes, but from that, I not only give them 5 stars but days later am still fantasizing about the food (see pizza photo). One of the best pizzas ever - covered with bacon, proscuitto and a rich tomato sauce. Fresh mozzarella cheese. Mmmmm Caesar salad was very crispy, herbed croutons. A perfect starter before my pizza gorge. The outside patio was lovely for summertime lunch in a nice ambiance surrounded by pretty old wooden buildings and a wood fence. If you're in Warwick I can't recommend it highly enough for a casual meal. Great for families. read more

Went here with my friends, husband and son. This place is beautifully decorated and has a great atmosphere. The food was delicious. I had the lobster ravioli and it was fantastic!! My two friends had the autumn gnocchi and they said it was delicious. The portions were plenty big and nicely plated. We were accommodated having 6 adults and a small child. Only problems were that they didn't have enough high chairs. There were at least three kids that needed highchairs and didn't have them, including my son. Also our server didn't bring out bread. We had to ask for it later on during the meal. Other than those two small things, it was fantastic!! I highly recommend eating here. read more

Fratellos's is an amazing Italian restaurant which was built by a retired fire fighter who took the risk of spending his pension on remodeling a building just off of Main Street in Warwick. The brick oven pizza is the best in Warwick and is a great option when going to the drive in movie theatre nearby. read more

Food is good. Problem is their customer service and delivery. We have had orders take over two hours from ordering. Deliveries that never made it because they couldn't find our house and claimed they didn't have our phone number(slice the food ordering app provides that information). They have also called us telling us last minute the driver can't make it. We have driven to pick it up and not even a thank you or sorry for having to change our plans due to the last minute change. Also, sorry, the delivery driver constantly seems upset he has a job vs the other delivery drivers in the area who actually seem taken care of and happy and yes we tip pretty well. There's also other things to complain about but I'm not going to bore you with the complaints. Giving it two stars because the food is good and maybe it's the type of place you should eat at. Stay away from their delivery, there are tons of other pizza places in the area that deliver a decent slice with a smile. read more

This a basic Italian place. It has a very large menu to pair with its high ceilings. The atmosphere of the place was also classic it's Italian with small decorative walls and the tall ceilings We had side salads and the Italian meatball soup and three different small pizzas for five people and still took home a whole pizzas. The pizza crust was typical New York style but two out of three were too salty. We had the Vodka sauce, prosciutto, and a veggie pizza. For a place that is in a touristy town, not sure I would come back but good for pizza if you're in the area. read more

This restaurant is rated with 3 stars which is more than generous. We made reservations a day before. When we arrived, the restaurant was empty and our table was set on the 2nd floor away from everyone. The second floor was filthy. The carpet smelled like mold, the tables were dusty and there was no ventilation. We voiced our concerns to the waitress and the manager came to us very argumentative and accused our party with "cursing at her waitress". This was not only insulting but a true representation of the institution which is dishonest and subpar. If I could give zero stars, that would be the rating. First rule of thumb in the food business is, "the customer is always right"! If you want great Italian food, do yourself a favor and go to Vera Cucina..
