The worst food I've ever eaten in western mass. I should've gone to McDonald's. The wait staff was fine and I have no personal gripes but nothing else matters until they stop insulting people's tastebuds by calling what they serve food. I anxiously await my food poisoning. read more

Typical average bar food and uncreative menu selections. What you see is what you get from this place. From the overcooked fries to the uncomfortable seating to the average taste of your food. The service was okay but I guess I should not expect more from a place in this location. It is a ghost town and not many businesses to support a restaurant. read more

I was first introduced to Amy's Place one weekend afternoon by some friends who had been there a few times before. They raved about a number of items that I "just had to try". We were all very hungry so we ordered quite a few items for a lunch. The establishment is divided into two areas, one is more of a pub atmosphere, and when you walk through to the other side, it is simply a room of tables/booths and the entrance-way to the kitchen. We sat in the 'dining room'. The waitress came over almost immediately as we sat down (4 of us total) and we ordered our drinks and appetizers. There was a huge chalkboard up on the side wall that listed their unique draft and bottle beer selection. There wasn't a huge list but they seemed to have a beer to appeal to everyone's tastes, even an organic and gluten-free option. We ordered the Pierogi Skins, which are cheese pierogis topped with chedder/jack cheese and (we chose) kielbasa, served with sour cream. (The four of us ordered two orders, one would probably be enough for most but we were starving and they were DELICIOUS). I had never had anything like that before, but it was definitely something I would not hesitate to order again. For our entrees, my friends ordered the Chop Chop Salad (it was definitely a generous size, as were all the entrees), a Reuben, and a Cheeseburger (blackened). I ordered the pulled pork meal (HOLY CRAP IT WAS HUGE). The heaping pile of pulled pork was insane (for me, 3-4 meals worth), plus it also came with mac and cheese and cornbread. The cornbread was very moist, buttery and delicious and the mac and cheese (well, I believe they are well-known for it so, yes, it was phenomenal). I definitely enjoyed the pulled pork, it was so tender it practically melted in my mouth (not even exaggerating) and the bbq sauce was not very heavy but had a smokey sweet taste that I enjoyed thoroughly (I am a Bourbon BBQ fan, personally). Speaking of the mac and cheese, they make this incredible Buffalo Chicken Mac N Cheese that was just absolute culinary-comfort-food-perfection. My friends shared an order of that to go with their meals. I had so much food, I had to take mine to-go (why waste such good food) To finish off our meal we ordered an "after-dinner drink" (Beers and ciders had made up most of the meal). We all were in the mood for an Irish Coffee, now, not sure if that is on their menu but let me tell you, that MAY have been the highlight of my experience. If I could have that drink at the end of every meal I have, I would be in heaven. It came in a tall hurricane glass, warm and filled to the rim, topped off with a swirling mound of whipped cream. The taste, temperature, appearance, everything, was just fantastic. Yes, I'll admit it, I fell in love with my after-dinner beverage. I have since asked my boyfriend to go to Amy's Place just so I can get that Irish Coffee again (hopefully soon he'll say yes). One last note, as we were leaving a waitress was bringing to another table what appeared to be their Buffalo Chicken Nachos. Holy Smokes! Just from the look and smell of it, I recommend that to anyone with a larger group or larger appetite as I intend to order it the next time I stop by as well. read more

I'll come over the hill any day of the week to come to Amy's Place. The best nachos in the Valley, great chicken sandwiches, maybe the best chop-chop salad in the Valley, too. Nothin' fancy, just good food and good atmosphere. Gotta love when they have Shabadoo on nitro. read more

I love Amy's Place! I've tried the cheeseburger club, the prime rib quesadilla, and many more, all of which were great. The Jen's Razz Margarita is also awesome! Definitely family friendly and reasonably priced. read more

I've been here several times and I like the variety of draft beer and pub style atmosphere. 14 taps with many favorites. Karaoke night gets crazy! Locals are inviting as well. Next door is the restaurant side and the food is equally as good. read more

Just stopped here after a quick pint at Fort Hill and sat at the bar. Such a great atmosphere and quickly made friends with a couple next to us at the bar (who just happen to be related to Amy). Ordered a BAT (bacon avocado and tomato) on sourdough and a Cajun prime rib sandwich. The BAT was excellent and the prime rib sandwich was a solid 4 out of 5. But it's the friendly atmosphere that will keep us coming back! Got to meet & talk to Amy too - Very friendly! The beers on tap are great too - check out the local brews from Hitchcock. I like there are two sides. There is a restaurant side and a bar side that are separated. Both serve food and have a connecting door. Food has been good and prices are reasonable. read more

We love going here, on our own or with the kids. They have a varied selection on the menu. We keep going back because we haven't tried everything yet! We are working on it. One of my favorites, sweet potato fries! Family friendly and the service is always great! read more

Bar staff was extremely rude. Bartender served the wrong drink and was asked for a different drink in return just for the confusion and the bartender was extremely rude upon exchanging drinks. She Continued to complain to the rest of the staff and created a scene made it very uncomfortable. very very rude staff. Cute little place right in Easthampton. There is a bar on one side and grill on the other. It has a pretty small menu, but there are some solid options. I saw burgers, sandwiches, and some salads, but I think the appetizer menu looked the best. Getting a bunch of little apps would probably be a solid option if you are just grabbing drinks. Speaking of which, the drink menu is also pretty solid with a nice variety. read more

pretty new to this area and checked out Amys several months ago and just went back this week. as far as im concerned, any place that has Guinness on tap is already at least two stars. great place for just pub food. they have good burgers, chili, corn bread, nachos, neighborhood bar type of menu. and the women behind the bar are very easy on the eye. so if you arent watching the red sox, or the B's, the the Pats, or this week the Olympics, there are beautiful bartenders to keep u occupied. i will be back. easthampton is a great town and evolving towards a cool place to be, with a beautiful pond right in the center and Amy's as a nice friendly, cool place for hanging with a beer and a plate of nachos. read more

This is a great local place to get "bar food." The wait staff is very professional and excellent servers. I go back every time for the consistently good food and delightful staff. I recommend the nachos and Cobb salad! Also check out the library for a different atmosphere for intimate conversations, great music and lovely bartenders. read more

Wait staff is incredibly friendly and good at what they do. It is bar food so don't go in expecting a four course meal but considering it's bar food I'd say they do a great job. Nachos are delicious, made with homemade chips! Would be nice if they included guacamole. I'm not sure why they don't offer guacamole since they have avocado on other dishes. Nachos are still definitly worth ordering! Sandwiches and wraps also very good. Salads are also very well made and huge. I have never been dissapointed with a meal here and go fairly regularly. I definitly recommend trying it out! read more

Unfortunately we had a really bad experience here. We went there on a Saturday Night to have some food. The hours said they were open till 2AM. I am not sure when the kitchen closes but we arrived about 9:45. Immediately when we arrived the waitress seemed ticked off that we were there (there were other people in the restaurant), asked us what we wanted to drink and said if you want food you need to order in the next 5 minutes. We were waiting for another couple to show up so we just punted and ordered a bunch of appetizers. The apps showed up with no plates, asked for plates and they brought 2. So our friends show up and they were told immediately to order drinks. We were then told we could order nothing else to drink and we had to pay the bill immediately and was followed up by one other person also telling us we needed to pay the bill. So we paid the bill and we were waiting for our friends to finish their drinks and we were going to leave, then the worst thing happened, they actually turned the lights almost off, they REALLY wanted us to leave. So we wandered our way out of the restaurant (we could hear the wait staff laughing at us) into the bar to leave because we were not able to leave through the restaurant. The rudeness of the wait staff was such horrible customer service and the food was OK at best. It's unfortunate because we will not be back anytime soon, nor will I tell anyone to go there. We wrote a letter to the Manager but never received a response so I guess they don't care. The Library on the other hand is such a nice place to hangout and the people working there are great, maybe the employees from the restaurant should be trained by the Library Employees. read more

I LOVE eating at Amy's. It's not 'fancy' or terribly 'unique', I guess you could say, but it pushes all the right buttons for me. The blackened burger is, in my opinion, the best burger in the Valley (and I get a cheeseburger everywhere I go!). It's always cooked perfectly and the spices are delicious. Also the MAC n CHEESE is my absolute favorite as well. The restaurant area is totally separate from the bar area so you aren't up against a testosterone wall or anything. (although you can eat at the bar too if you want. The bar is a little too cramped and small for me to want to hang out in.) Amy's has my favorite (cheap) beer so it's just about perfect for me to have a yummy, filling, inexpensive meal. I've eaten here many times and the food and service has been consistent. With the exception, unfortunately, of the Chop Chop salad. My vegatarian partner doesn't have a whole lot of choices, and always got the Chop Chop. It used to be perfect but then a few times in a row it was just way overly cheesy and basically inedible. So he's wary of going back but I've never had anything but perfection with my orders. read more
