My wife and I have visited here a couple times in the last month or so, and both times it's been fantastic! My wife always gets the Vegetarian Plate and I get the Mixed Shawarma Plate. We were so surprised when he brought a complimentary plate of hummus with warm pita breads to our table. Everything down to the sauces are all made IN house! They give you very generous servings. The restaurant is very clean and decorated beautifully. It's enjoyable to sit and enjoy your meals here. They don't rush you either. The menu is plentiful and items are priced nice. Hummus - very smooth & flavorful taste. The presentation with warm pita. Served with a little fresh beet and pickle gives it a nice touch! 5 Falafels were made to order and served piping hot. I like that they were light, fluffy and not a bit greasy! 5+ Salad - served chilled, crisp and with a kiss of mint, fresh lemon juice and good olive oil! The dressing rounds out the platter of multiple flavors. 5 The Chicken kabab platter had an excellent presentation. The marinated chicken was super moist, soft and seasoned perfectly. They have had a nice remodel! It makes them a nice restaurant to eat at, not just a take out place. My faves are their sauces, kebabs, kefta kebab especially, hummus, baba ganush, very flavorful chopped side salad. My kids love their saffron rice. I ordered the chicken and beef shawarma plate. ​The chicken was served in tiny, small pieces and was incredibly dry and hard. It felt like it had been sitting out for far too long or was simply leftovers from a previous batch; there is no way it could be considered "juicy." While the beef wasn't quite as bad as the chicken, it was still very dry--just barely edible. ​The salad and rice were fine, but those are basic sides that any place should be able to get right. For a $30 plate, the quality of the meat was unacceptable. I can't justify giving more than one star when the main part of the meal was this poor. read more

Amy's Kebab was truly a hidden gem! My husband decided to try a different Middle Eastern restaurant from our usual spots, and we're so glad we did--this place felt genuinely authentic. We started with the cold appetizer plate (hummus, baba ghanoush, and dolmas), and everything tasted incredibly fresh--you can immediately tell it's homemade from the flavor alone. For our entrées, the meats were tender, well-marinated, and full of flavor. The owner even came over to share the story behind the restaurant and explained how everything is made fresh, by hand, including the marinades. The food is excellent but more to the point it's really great dishes and in the solid value tier pricing too, imho. We were hungry and just figured The place was expensive and over ordered. Way over. We both dined for a big meal then and then I took the leftovers. I made eight regular reasonable appetite sized meals from the leftover. (Middle-aged, not growing teen) Not feasts, but sensible and satisfying meals. The meats were some of the best I've had of this genre of foods. I asked and the food is Assyrian style and I'm used to Pita House's way of doing things--with mixed meat quality. But Pita House is the standard in the area for my preference in falafel. There's just more flavors in it. Amy's was really nice and perfectly competently made but a blander than most I've had. I suppose you could upsell the idea to "clean tasting, purity assured" flavored falafel. lol Also odd was the lavash thin pitas. Delicious... but middle eastern tortillas. I'm glad I decided to randomly check this place out on a Saturday afternoon. The place was clean and the service was phenomenal. It gives very warm mom and pop vibes. I've been eyeing Amy's Kebab for a while, but it's always been just out of my way. Today, it was in my way! I got takeout; a chicken shawarma wrap and a side of fries. The fries were good, but... ya know....they're just fries. Let's talk shawarma :-) It was good+ I've had a fair amount of chicken shawarma in my time and this was above average. The toum was yummy, but they gave me ketchup instead of hot sauce. Oops :-/ The service was very nice and the space was pretty big, clean, and open. I bet they have some rockin' parties there!! Good food and good service. My three pictures I included are of the Beef Shish Kebab, jalapeño poppers, and the side salad served to begin the meal. Besides the beef, which was excellent, the plate has the rice (saffron probably?) which was very tasty and the parsley and onion salad with some seasoning on it. Not sure what it was but it was very good. Two sauces came with the meal, a very hot red sauce and a garlic white sauce. Used that white sauce on some of the meat but it also pairs very nicely with the pita bread that comes with the meal. The poppers were also quite good (and there were several more; we ate a bunch before I thought to take a picture). Not overly hot but just right. There was enough food to fill you up and it was reasonably priced. They do have a credit card surcharge of 3% so you may want to pay cash if you have it with you. The restaurant is clean and neat, and nothing fancy, but the food and an attentive cashiers/order taker/server/everything person made the meal go great. I don't live too near here and found it almost by accident since it just happened to be near where I was. I would make the trip to come back. read more

Very good food. Came here with my cousins around Thanksgiving, and the host/manager was very kind. He was playing FIFA World Cup games and turned the tv towards our group, even though he was watching on the other side. Food was great - I would highly recommend the lamb kefta. It was amazingly seasoned and was still juicy. I got the three meat platter, which would easily be $30 in most other places lol. My cousins got the falafel wrap and they loved it as well! When my husband and I are craving meat we come here to eat because they have great grilled meats. When we walked in the restaurant we were greeted right away. We typically only drink water and they serve in bottles ($1.50 each) which we don't mind because it is Spring Water. My husband ordered the 3-Way Mixed Grill, it came with a large bowl of salad that we both shared. It comes with Kefta Kebab, Chicken Kebab, Beef Shawerma, Rice, and a basket of pita bread. I ordered the Beef Kebab, it was very good however the meat was too chewy for my liking. I felt like I was going to choke on the first bite because it was a little dry and I was not expecting that. The sandwich was dripping with juice so that is why I was a little shocked it was as dry as it was. There were three large pieces of meat in each 1/2 of the pita wrap. I think I will try something else next time but we will definitely be back! read more

Very disappointing for size proportion of wrap you can get a much better size for price at Pita BBQ, the falafel were hard and cold and oddly shaped, not to mention flavor was off. The pita bread which hubby bought extra of was hard as a rock by the time he got home(10 min drive). Even the sauces were lack luster. Definitely not a 4 star restaurant. I rarely rank this low. We have now gotten take out here a few times and its been excellent each time. This last time we got a 2 way grill with Chicken and beef Kebob with rice and the awesome Hummus with Chicken Shawarma. We ordered the Hummus bowl with Beef Shawarma in the past, both are great. The hummus is so good, its just what it sounds like, a big bowl of hummus topped with meat. The Kebobs were jucy and tender and their rice is very good, I wish i knew the secret to making rice like that. We also usually get a side or their Falafel with we like a lot. The portions are huge, we never eat it all. Its our go to place for Mediterranean food and really have no interest in going anywhere else. One day we will eat inside, they have a lot of space. Its so easy to order online and pick up is quick, always hot and always correct, we have never had an issue. The people are very nice, its a pleasure to go there. This is our favorite place to go to get fresh quality food with amazing Middle Eastern flavors. There are so many great choices to pick from.
