Amy's Kabob is my new go to spot! The owner Fahad was so welcoming, nice and helped us with our ordering. We were so surprised when he brought a complimentary plate of hummus with warm pita breads to our table. Everything down to the sauces are all made IN house! They give you very generous servings. The restaurant is very clean and decorated beautifully. It's enjoyable to sit and enjoy your meals here. They don't rush you either. The menu is plentiful and items are priced nice. Hummus - very smooth & flavorful taste. The presentation with warm pita. Served with a little fresh beet and pickle gives it a nice touch! 5 Falafels were made to order and served piping hot. I like that they were light, fluffy and not a bit greasy! 5+ Salad - served chilled, crisp and with a kiss of mint, fresh lemon juice and good olive oil! The dressing rounds out the platter of multiple flavors. 5 The Chicken kabab platter had an excellent presentation. The marinated chicken was super moist, soft and seasoned perfectly. The saffron rice went very well. 5+ The Kofta kabab (beef) platter had a very nice presentation. The beef kabab was seasoned with thier own spice mix and was authentic traditionally Assyrian. Another excellent plate! 5+ There's nothing better than ending the perfect meal with a nice hot cup of tea with fresh made baklava and talumba (fried dough with a honey syrup). 5+ If you're looking for an enjoyable meal with ALL fresh made ingredients everyday then this is the place!

Amy's Kebab was truly a hidden gem! My husband decided to try a different Middle Eastern restaurant from our usual spots, and we're so glad we did--this place felt genuinely authentic. We started with the cold appetizer plate (hummus, baba ghanoush, and dolmas), and everything tasted incredibly fresh--you can immediately tell it's homemade from the flavor alone. For our entrées, the meats were tender, well-marinated, and full of flavor. The owner even came over to share the story behind the restaurant and explained how everything is made fresh, by hand, including the marinades. That personal touch made the experience even more special. The space itself is modern and spacious, adding to the overall experience. We will definitely be coming back--the food is fresh, healthy, and far from anything that tastes pre-packaged. Absolutely worth the trip!

Service was quick and front lady was super nice. Great done in area and very clean. Food was always A1 and left full. Please give this place a visit and see what this establishment has to offer!

I'm glad I decided to randomly check this place out on a Saturday afternoon. The place was clean and the service was phenomenal. It gives very warm mom and pop vibes. I had the Baba Ghanoush Hummus for the first time and it was savory and delectable, the beef kebab platter and beef kebab wrap were the main entrees and it all hit the spot. I'll definitely be back to try out the rest of their menu. Our server Helen, was warm and friendly. She was patient with us and very social and open. I enjoyed my dining experience here. Check them out if you're in the area

Ordered the hummus with beef shawarma. Picked up my order and when I got home realized I was missing the rice, salad, bread and hot sauce so I called to let them know. She said it doesn't come with those things. The website is inaccurate and they offered no solution. $16 for hummus & beef with no sides that their website says it includes? No thanks.

    They remodeled. Looks great!

They remodeled the restaurant and it looks great. The chicken kabobs are delicious and the best around! The portion is good along with tasty rice, fresh salad, sauces and pitas. The food is always made fresh. The dinner platter is a bit expensive but I always get two meals. The strip mall is a bit drab looking but don't let that deter you.

The food, the service & the cleanliness is top notch! Our server, Helen is always so sweet. The food is so authentic and delicious! I can't say enough good things about this place! If you're not sure what to order - you can't ever go wrong with the baba ganoush... sooo flavorful and made from scratch! The beef filet plate is incredible!!!

My husband & I found this place just by chance & decided to try it out! I'm so glad we did! Everything we ordered was phenomenal! We had the Baba Ghanouj & the Hummus (complimentary of the owner) for our appetizer. Everything was fresh, flavorful and our meat & chicken was very tender! We both really enjoyed the rice as well! Our server Michelle was so attentive and sweet & service was above & beyond! We also had the pleasure of speaking with the owner Sargon! We will definitely be back!

Good food and good service. My three pictures I included are of the Beef Shish Kebab, jalapeño poppers, and the side salad served to begin the meal. Besides the beef, which was excellent, the plate has the rice (saffron probably?) which was very tasty and the parsley and onion salad with some seasoning on it. Not sure what it was but it was very good. Two sauces came with the meal, a very hot red sauce and a garlic white sauce. Used that white sauce on some of the meat but it also pairs very nicely with the pita bread that comes with the meal. The poppers were also quite good (and there were several more; we ate a bunch before I thought to take a picture). Not overly hot but just right. There was enough food to fill you up and it was reasonably priced. They do have a credit card surcharge of 3% so you may want to pay cash if you have it with you. The restaurant is clean and neat, and nothing fancy, but the food and an attentive cashiers/order taker/server/everything person made the meal go great. I don't live too near here and found it almost by accident since it just happened to be near where I was. I would make the trip to come back.

It was empty when it arrived, but filled up on our way out, telling me it's a popular place for the younger crowd. Either way, you know you're in for a good meal when you see the huge doner rotisserie spinning. The owner (at least I'm pretty sure he was the owner) helpfully walked us through their sauce selection and even offered my MIL some sauce samples. She ended up getting the hot dog with veggies, while my wife and I got sandwich combos (17 for the sandwich + 3.50 for fries and a drink). I was going to share my combo with my preschooler since they don't have a kids meal, but the owner thoughtfully offered some fries with chicken for him. We definitely had to tip well for such nice service. So this is no ordinary sandwich, and the pictures don't do it justice. In pics it looks kind of like a pita pocket, but this thing has some HEFT. Filled with veggies, meat, and sauce, it got a little messy but was really tasty. The veggies were fresh, and it's hard to top meat sliced right off the log. My MIL said her unique hot dog was good as well. To me it looked like a Chicago dog from another dimension, but I also want to give it a try next time. Protip: Ask for your sauces on the side. They're almost too generous with it on the sandwich so it's nice to have a little more control with it. This will definitely enter the rotation and will be letting our friends know as well. Great stuff!

We passed by many little holes in the walls on Barrington Rd, but we just didn't trust them because they were empty. Berliner Kebap was full and lively. I know this isn't what most people think about, but it is a good feeling to know that the food is moving. It means you're being given fresh food that hasn't been sitting around. I love the simplicity of the menu. Platters, wraps, and sandwiches are genenerous and comfort foody, in the best way possible. Of course it is all about the sauces. I want to scubadive in that garlic sauce. I could put it on everything! The herb sauce and spicy sauce are also pretty awesome. Make your food a meal. You'll get fresh hot fries and a drink. Platters will have a nice salad. It is important to mention that everyone behind the counter is so helpful and as nice as can be. And so, as people come and go...the doner shall continue to slowly spin in anticipation of your visit. ~fin~

I had been here with my daughter about 12 years ago and remembered enjoying it then. We all had burgers and craft beer. My friends went with the Mad Max (burger of the month) and I went with a peppercorn and blue cheese burger. It was thumbs up for all of us on the burgers as well as the beer, which was unique and delicious. I took no pictures that day and just enjoyed the outing with friends, but I was especially impressed with the taste of my burger. I abstained from adding any of my usual condiments, and decided to try it as is, with just their sauce. Best decision ever! The sauce was amazing and the burger was cooked a perfect medium. Like many restaurants, Luck Monk offers their regular menu, plus flyers on their specials, including beers and cocktails. Four days later, I went right back there again on my own, to formally review it with photos. I had to go with that same peppercorn burger, because it was just so good, and to make sure the first time was a fluke. It wasn't. I tried out their chili as well, which was also good. This chef knows what he is doing. This stand alone restaurant is easy to get to, and has ample parking. The interior of the restaurant is beautiful and looks high end, though I found the pricing to be reasonable. It would be a great spot to take clients for a business lunch. It's elegant looking , but unpretentious. The hostess and servers are wonderful. I highly recommend the Lucky Monk!

We sat ourselves at a high table next to the bar, and our waitress came by right away to take our drink order.
