No need for UV light! We were seated at the manicure bar right away despite my daughter's appointment being an hour after mine. My technician, Kelly, was super friendly, fast, and very skilled! The decor and vibe are glam, relaxing, and very clean. The other tech seated next to us chatted with us as well. The seats are comfortable. I asked if I should move to the reception area while my nails dried for the five minutes recommended by the Dazzle Dry manufacturer but they told me I could stay where I was. Kelly started on my daughter's nails and gave her a gorgeous manicure! Despite being booked for 3:30, and 4:30 we were finished, cashed out, and home by shortly after 4:30! We are both thrilled with our manicures and with the experience we enjoyed at Polished 84 Nails! Thank you Kelly!

Prices are a little higher than I'm used to. The salon remains very clean, staff are super nice & they're one of the only places around that use low temp wax! Ken did not disappoint! Love my nails.

I get my nails done frequently and let me say this is not at all how you do them they don't look horrible, but I had to settle for less and paid an absurd amount for nothing. She didn't prep my nails right and and I just had her wipe off the design because she couldn't do it. Seems more of like she was just learning, but if so, I shouldn't have been charged 85 dollars for these nails. I never have the heart to confront people so I ended up just walking out with my head down. Definitely not happy and definitely will not be going back. Just wish I could get my money back and go someplace that knew what they were doing. Mind you this took almost 2 hours. I never write reviews, but I downloaded yelp just for this.

They constantly had someone cleaning and I love how quiet it was (even with it being busy), made it very relaxing! I had an eyebrow wax and powder dip manicure. I believe I was taken care of by Angie (based on the name on my receipt). She was excellent: extremely thorough and meticulous with both services. I was out within an hour, but did not feel like the service was rushed at all! Extremely efficient! Best manicure I've had in a long time and it took significantly less time than other salons! Friendly, helpful staff! Would absolutely recommend!

I was very surprised with my experience after reading all the wonderful reviews. A few notable…read morethings that happened: - I booked an appointment online with Angie, 1 week in advance. I arrived about 5 minutes before my appointment, and waited for 15-20 minutes to be seen. - I booked the organic exfoliating manicure (no gel)... and was given a basic manicure. No exfoliating sugar scrub. No hot towel wrap. (Both of which are mentioned as services). It was just a very rushed manicure. I included a photo to show how rushed this was. You can see the 2nd coat of polish didn't even fully cover the first coat. 2 nails had bubbles. And I could still see my nail whites through the polish when I left.. - One woman prepped my nails/cuticles and it was painful. No soaking. She put hot lotion glove on my hands and then immediately started pushing my cuticles back without letting it sit for a minute to soften them. Then she left and a different woman painted them. I didn't get either of their names and I'm not sure if I was seen by Angie, who I had booked with. This was just such a strange experience. I felt as though I was treated differently from other customers because I didn't want gel polish. This was my first time and I won't be going back here.

I've been to dozens of nail salons in NH and Boston, and Swan does the best acrylics I've seen…read more She's been doing nails for a long time, and that comes across in her skill level. She works fast, but at the same time is very meticulous. They have a nice color selection in both regular and gel polishes. Swan knows almost every polish by name! She's also very capable of executing nail art designs -- I've brought in pictures of nail inspo and she's done a great job at recreating the artwork. A lot of other salons I've been to don't know how to shape acrylics well, they come out uneven and crooked. Swan has an eye for detail and my stiletto talons always end up looking great! If you're going on a Friday or Saturday, make sure to call ahead and make an appointment. They get pretty busy those days, but it's still worth the wait. I very highly recommend Hollywood Nails, and Swan especially!

I was going to start looking at the polish on display for colors but was ushered into a chair right away and given a bucket of color swatches to choose from. They were able to accommodate me as a walk-in which was great, but feeling rushed as soon as you come in a salon is never a good start. I wish I could've taken a minute to look at color on the wall. (easier than digging through a bin of nail rings.) Salon seemed clean at first glance. No tub liner was used in the pedicure bath, which was a bit alarming. My tech did not say a word to me the whole time, which I understand could be language barrier or just not in the mood- totally fine. Note there is no TV, so I was using my phone to entertain myself during the service. I forgot to turn on the massage chair until half way through, which was a bummer. Usually they ask if you want the chair on at the start. Anyway, Instead of tapping lightly on my foot when ready to change feet or just asking me to change feet, the tech grabbed and pushed/pulled my feet around by my toes, that was totally new- not something I had ever experienced before nor did I appreciate. The leg/foot massage was the best part she really went in on my legs! I like a strong massage- and it was definitely on the stronger side. The polish color on my toes came out fine. We are about a month since my service and polish is still intact. -Overall, just ok.
