We got the deluxe spa pedi, which I was in desperate need of - and had such a great experience, we ended up doing a shellac manicure as well. This place you have to call in advance so we called Saturday to schedule for the following Saturday. I recently visited Beautiful Nails on South Willow in Manchester. I had gotten a gel manicure done on Friday, and below is what my nails looked like by the following Tuesday. I called and asked for my nails to be re-done and made an appointment for 6:30. When I got there at 6:30, I didn't get service until 7:05. They put the nail polish remover tin foil on my nails and I proceeded to sit there for another 30 minutes. I finally left with my nails fixed after an hour and a half. I went here because there were a lot of amazing reviews on here. I didn't know who to see because I just moved to the area. I heard the owner and a few other guys who work there are great. The photos on here clearly prove they do great work. The person that I got was not one of those people. She came up to me and asked me what I was getting. I said I had a 2:30 appointment for a full set with dip. She came back another time to ask me the shape and length I wanted. Almost like if I was too hard I would have gotten someone else, but if it was easy she could do it. I told her square and shorter. She took me. It took her an hour and a half so you'd think they would be perfect. They are so uneven and misshapen. They flare out on the sides and are bumpy. This is the first time I've gotten my nails done since Covid and I was so looking forward to it. They look absolutely awful. read more

Went a month ago for a pedicure which was great but got a manicure today. I show the tech a picture from pinterest and he looked at it and said ok a d told me to pick the base color. He applies the base (which is too thick) and then asks to see the picture again and now tells me he can't do the design (which is a maple leaf). I ask what kind of fall design he could do and he didn't say anything, got up and offered foils. Super disappointed. Probably going to find a different salon. I honestly wouldn't have cared that he couldn't do the, design if he'd said so when I initially showed him the picture. That's why I showed it before I started. Worst nail experience I've ever had. I'm a regular here and get my nails done here all the time and can't believe the treatment I just received. First they did the wrong color not the one I asked for so they had to fully redo my nails which is no big deal but when that happened they switched the person doing my nails and the guy doing my nails walked off laughing about it to other workers there being very rude and making comments. Then they redo my nails and they are totally messed up with weird marks all through them. So they have to redo them again. They do them a third time and this time the colors off and there are still marks. After being there over 2 hours consuming my whole evening while being embarrassed and mocked to the point of tears I give up and accept the nails as they are and I am absolutely shocked they still asked me to pay full price no discount no gift card or anything. I cannot tell you how kind, and accommodating the entire staff was. They offered water/and wine complimentary. Pedicure was amazing, Wendy was very detail oriented and explained what she was doing and asked me questions along the way to make sure it was perfect. I also had a shellac manicure, very nice! Relaxing and clean environment! As a licensed professional I have high expectations, and the team here knocked it out of the park. This will be my new nail salon every 2/3 weeks. Pretty shitty service all around. This is the second time we have called and made an appointment, just to get there and them not even have us in their book. We then were taken and my manicure was started but they told my sister she would have to wait 30 minutes because she wanted acrylics. My ENTIRE manicure is finished before anyone even starts my sister, so we left with just my manicure. They only had 2 guys that could do acrylics, but then why accept an appointment? Today was my first visit here. My sister and I scheduled pedicures. I really loved that we were given the option to choose which scent we wanted our soap, sugar scrub and lotions to be. They had a lot to choose from too! All the lotions were individually wrapped and portioned out for each step. They took their time working on us. The whole pedicure took about an hour and a half. One person in my party is a little heavy and was told she had to leave because his seats only hold 250lbs but the rest of us were fine in front of everyone in the salon. I came in at 2:45 because my appointment was at 3. I still was not seated by 3:30/3:45, I was then there until almost 7:15 just for an acrylic set. I also wasn't able to do the color I wanted because they "didn't like it". I had very healthy (and even) nails but they shaved them down until they were bleeding and really painful. I asked her to stop multiple times and she still continued and it hurt so much! I had an event that night so thought that booking it for 3pm would give plenty of time, although I've never had acrylics take more than 45 minutes and I ended up really late. The staff also took a really long time because they would continuously stop to play games on their phones. The nails turned out fine but now it's 4 weeks later and they look awful and are impossible to get off. I don't like to complain and I paid the full price and tipped but would never go again read more

Only one tech there has been patient and takes their time with your nails; the rest are robotic and rush you in and out. After 3 visits I'll be taking my business elsewhere. Walking into Beautiful Nails, you are instantly greeted, in a kind and welcoming manner. It is gorgeous inside; the pride of ownership is in every detail. I met Emma, and she was so kind, accommodating, friendly and welcoming! My pedi was wonderful! When I showed her a photo of the nails I wanted, a very kind member of the team went looking for polishes to color match. When we were halfway through the mani, shellac on, I realized that I really didn't care for one of the colors, and Emma kindly removed the color from the one nail. Had I brought that to the attention of the former salon I frequented, I would not have been shown kindness.
