The best place in the town for lash extensions, I have been doing lash extension over 3 year with the best "Sawyer". Also, I tried the facial and it's just amazing and every two weeks I do waxing in my eyebrow. No complains no allergies and they take care of my face. Because I believe that a business should have the opportunity to defend itself against a terrible experience, I would not post this negative review of Chill if I had not already contacted the Spa about my experience, and gotten NO response. So, I'm sharing. I have been to Chill on a few occasions, and I've always been fairly happy with my experience. I've gotten a makeup application, as well as a few blowouts, and an excellent facial. After my first facial there, I couldn't wait to go back. So, I scheduled an appointment several weeks in advance. When I arrived, I learned my facial was actually with someone different than the esthetician I had requested, but I was still hopeful. Unfortunately, my hopes were misplaced. The facial itself was lame, but it wasn't until I looked in the mirror after the facial that I realized how badly it had gone: I had pieces of the facial mask still covering my face, caught in my hair; eye makeup smeared down my cheeks; AND -- worst of all -- the esthetician had given me ACTUAL DREADLOCKS during the head massage. I was in shock. I lost SO MUCH HAIR working the dreadlocks out once I got home. How could a beauty salon DO such a thing?? Such a disappointment. But even more disappointing is the fact that, after I contacted Chill regarding my experience, I heard nothing back. The facial was bad. But the poor customer service is unforgivable. I had a spray tan and the young woman who did it was very nice, but I had splotches on my right arm and leg. I think she was in a rush to leave as my appointment was at 5:45 pm on a Friday evening. I usually go to another spa for a spray tan but was in need of a last minute appointment and they ones available; now I know why. I do not recommend, go somewhere else. read more

Went to get an eyelash lift done here about a week ago and I'm loving the results. This was my first visit to Chill and everyone was very kind. I had the lift done in the morning and later in the afternoon noticed my lashes were starting to lose its curl, so I stopped back in and the young esthetician was surprised at her work and redid the service for me. It cost $60 which is very reasonable comparing to a place in Portsmouth charging $115. My lashes look great and I will be back! Thanks! read more

Had high hopes for this spa after reading the reviews to take my girlfriend for a pedicure for her birthday, and unfortunately left very disappointed with our experience. It lacked the spa like experience we were expecting after making our appointments over a month in advance. Maybe the tech's were young and inexperienced?? Not sure, but this is what I feel went wrong. First they did not introduce themselves to us, offer us a drink of water or show us how to use the remote operated massage chairs we were sitting in. Also, not sure how you can start a pedicure when we soaked for all of 60 seconds? And it also lacked a quality foot scrub and message. Lastly we were told to sit for a bit to let out nails dry and she would be back, and well she never came back! While paying for our services at the front desk we were asked how it was and I replied that it was just ok and they reply I received was an "oh, good!", or something like that, so I guess she was not really listening to what we had to say. So I would NOT recommend Chill Spa!! As if that is not enough, when I came home, I decided to check out the work done. Both my teenage son and I have had great facials here. Jaime is the best. Also good for pedicure. Pricey, though. Cramped upstairs in changing area and some rooms, feels like a doll's house. I have been here a free times, twice for a massage and once for a spray tan. The girls are all very friendly and the massage therapist I had both times was PHENOMENAL but I don't think she is there anymore. I haven't been back because of that. My spray tan was so uncomfortable. All the other places I've had spray tans at have offered and provided disposable undies, so I assumed that was standard. It should be. They didn't have anything so I was left with no choice but to stand there naked. Typically, I would have no problem with this but I had just had a baby and was not enjoying the fact that a very fit, gorgeous girl in skin tight clothes who knelt down so that her face was crotch height, was spraying me down. I got a very uneven tan and looked dirty rather than sun kissed. Never again. My bf would never come either because the one time he walked in, he was so turned off by all the pink, feathers, glitter and overall clutter. Now it's tough to get him to go to any spa because he says it's for chicks. Cons: Very high prices, small cramped space, poorly decorated (alL the STUFF gives me a little anxiety). I went in recently for a spray tan with Megan before my bridal shower. She answered all of my questions and even gave me tips on things I wouldn't have thought to ask! I was made to feel comfortable and given the perfect "Chill Glow." The color was excellent and I received compliments on my tan from so many people. Most people thought it was natural and a few even booked their own appointments within days of seeing my results. I am hooked and will definitely be a repeat client! read more

I have had several messages here and I absolutely love it. There are so many options out there for messages and even though I could find a place closer to home, I don't want to! The atmosphere is amazing. It's beautifully decorated and calming in the upstairs waiting area. They have a (small) but nice little area for you to get ready in. I've never had a problem with changing but they have a curtain and a bathroom you can change behind as well as a shower for when you're done if you're interested. Not only that but I usually sign up for the scrub and steam room which is amazing. I usually finish showering in there. I love that you can book online. It's very convenient. The message therapists I've had were very friendly and made me feel very comfortable. I was very happy with my experience. There was one time I received a pedicure upstairs in their spa area. I wasn't as pleased with that because when she cleaned under my nails it hurt like a bugger. I wanted to cry. Still, it could have just been my technician. Went in for a wax. Very pleasant esthetician but left with gobs of wax all over me and sticking to my clothes. Eventually got home and showered and noticed all the missed spots with hair on em. So I paid over a $100 with tip and still had to shave. Disappointed. read more

Today (3/10/18) I was pampering my daughter for her 16th birthday. There were 3 of us. My sister and daughter had facials that they enjoyed and all of the girls were super nice. We all 3 had pedicures and then myself and my daughter had manicures. Unfortunately the quality of the final product left much to be desired. The polish our my toes is streaky and uneven and my French manicure was completely uneven and messy. we were not given the option to wash our hands after having the nails filed. It took quite a long time and I felt rushed (even thought there was no where I could go) because there was someone waiting to get a spray tan. For $490+with tip I expect much more. I have my nails done every 3 weeks but this was a special treat for my daughter. I have been to Chill Spa recently on two separate occasions, both for prenatal massages. One was with Victoria, and the other with Melissa. The massages were both very nice and relaxing. However, the overall environment at Chill is just not what you would want or expect from a spa. The upstairs area where the massages take place is very small and cramped. There is only one changing room and it has no lock on it. When I got my last massage, the walls were so thin that I could hear the people in the shower the next room over. I also had to wait for at least 10 minutes past when my massage was supposed to start before I met my masseuse. All of those things detracted from what should have been an overall enjoyable experience. read more

Chill Spa is my number to go place when it comes to massages! I have been to many places around Manchester/Bedford area and this one is my favorite! I love getting the deep tissue massage because they know how to relax you and they aren't afraid to add more pressure if you need it. Visited Chill last week for manis and pedis, had an incredible experience and were taken very good care of. They let us bring our own bevvies and music and we enjoyed every moment of our treatments in honor of our sister's birthday and prep for NYE. At other salons we've been to in the past, they have had enough chairs and techs to accommodate everyone at once, however it's smaller here - more intimate - so the five of us were staggered in services (although we all hung out in the same room so it was great)... having everyone sitting in a pedi chair concurrently wasn't that big of a deal as we have thought it would be in the past. Prices are higher than I've paid in NH in the past, but quality was very worth the cost. They use a special brand of polish here which I had never seen before, but there were plenty of colors to choose from. I'll definitely be back and will recommend to you, reader, and to others in the 603. You can always tell how good a company is according to how they respond to a client with an issue about their service. When we called with a minor complaint about polish chipping, they talked through the issue with me, and worked with me to make sure we came up with a mutually beneficial solution. In that sense alone, that they addressed my phone call with concern, is a reason to give Chill a glowing review. Good service, fabulous personnel and customer care. Now, if only I could move INTO this spa....... *sigh* Well done, Chill, from all aspects. This is how a successful business should be run. read more

I visited Chill Day Spa over the summer for a team building/ladies spa day of massages and pedicures. What a great find! We had a "Chill Party" and had our own cozy room. The robes and flip flops were super comfy, and we were able to have lunch delivered. The ladies took care of everything. They took our lunch order and took care of calling it in and brought it up for us. They made the day super relaxing and I will definitely go back. Had a Mommy/Daughter day and it ended with a lovely pedi sitting side by side at Chill Day Spa. The massage chair was the best I've ever sat in... you could really feel it! The pedis were expertly done and the atmosphere was upbeat and casual; our techs were so friendly and fun. They give you a big fluffy white robe to wear along with flip flops that you return to the front desk when checking out, and there's a locker room for all of your belongings. The area upstairs where we had the pedis done would be described by a realtor as "cozy" (the rooms are a little on the small side) but this didn't bother me at all. My daughter booked our appt and mentioned that she loved being able to book it right on the Chill website. There is free parking... the lot is a bit small but we both found spots with no problem. I went here for the first time the other day, and left pretty disappointed. I purchased a pedicure with massage package online for $70 That was for 1 hr. It sounded heavenly. However, the chair did not have a back massager, there were no jets in the tub, and my polish job was very messy. The biggest disappointment of all though was the "massage". It lasted about 1 minute, no exaggeration. Next time I will save about $30 and just go to my local strip mall nail place...their massage is way better. Don't waste your money on a pedi here! Cute, quaint and a hidden secret in Manchvegas. I love that it isnt over the top and the staff is attentive to their customers. It really is "chill" everytime I have visited. Pedicures can be done upstairs in the spa or downstairs for a more casual feel in the salon area. The only downfall is that you can only have a pedicure with one friend at the same time (hard if you are planning a girls party) but ideal if you just want to spend relaxing time with one friend. I had an ice cream pedicure-- yummy and different! Its pricey but time and money well spent. I recommend if you are looking for something chill. You can also book apts online. They carry bare minerals makeup as well! read more

She gave me the most wonderful facial and pedicure...I visit several Spa's throughout my traveling and I've never had such a great experience. Me and hubby went for the chill couple experience. We were so impressed with the atmosphere there. We were brought upstairs to a cozy area to our own locker rooms to undress into comfy robes and slippers, then met up in a room next to a fireplace to fill out our intake forms. Our massage therapists then did such an amazing job. I had Melissa and she was so intuitive to exactly what I asked for. We then were brought to a steam room, where we got to exfoliate, lather up in mud, and steam for awhile. Our skin felt so amazing! I called to schedule the Totally Melted package for my daughter and me ($135 each). I was initially put on hold for six minutes. I hung up and called back, when I spoke with a woman named Coco who, while very nice, didn't really know how to schedule appointments. She was a stylist and was helping out, but after about ten minutes on the phone, she told me she'd have to call me right back. Several hours passed, so I called again to check on my reservation. The phone was answered by Jamie, who said I was "on her list". I went through again what I wanted and she told me she was going to try and it may involve moving some other things around. She said she'd call me right back. About 45 minutes later, Cocoa called me to let me know they could get me in, but not for the package I'd asked for (routine, listed on their website, not a special), and it would cost about $100 more, even though I'd be getting the EXACT SAME SERVICES done!! I became increasingly irritated by their complete lack of organization and professionalism and asked if this was a part of their business model. There are plenty of places that will treat people better and appreciate their patronage. I WILL NOT do business with such a sloppy business as Chill Spa. read more

I am sorry to say this is not even a one star Spa in my opinion. I took my mother to the spa for a manicure. This facility is not handicap accessible. The girl at the front desk saw us struggling getting her and her walker up the stairs. No on offered to help. Once inside we had to wait over 1/2 hour for our appointment that we schedule a month in advance (due to no openings earlier). We were not offered anything to drink or even an apology for the wait time, just and excuse that we have been very busy and you need to wait. I felt like we were bothering them by being there. My mother had a manicure which was spotty and not well done. I had a pedicure and a manicure. While getting my pedicure the girl that was going to do my manicure said why don't I get started on your manicure as well. Not very relaxing as she pulled one of my arms across my body so she could reach it at a very weird angle for both. Needless to say the shaping of my nails were uneven and very badly done. Once she started painting my nails with a color I did not pick and voice that I did not like the color she said why its a nice color it looks good. Again voiced my dislike she continued to say she liked it. It was gel nails and when I said I would like it off. She said sure we can schedule you an appointment to come back at another time and its $10.00 to removed it. Really I didn't like it to begin with. I have never been someplace that charge very expensive prices for service that they are not good at. The costumer service, the service itself and the experience was very poor. There were children running around the spa. I heard one staff that was doing someone's hair do you want me to take the curlers out now (while she was having a pedicure) or do you want to wait for me to get back from Starbucks. Not very professional. I felt rushed, unwelcome and it was not at all relaxing. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND AND WILL NEVER GO BACK. read more
