So just a disclaimer, this review may not represent the store but I thought I should put it up…read more Everyone in the store is always helpful and knowledgable but I did have one bad experiance. I was told after they sampled my pool water that the hardness was low and I needed to buy 70 dollars worth of calcium. I did and when I got home my hardness strips read normal. Prior to adding the new chemical I brought a second sample in which was also read by them as low hardness. I was skeptical so I brought the sample to a company across the road. Their equipment was all computer based rather than interpreted by the technician. They came up with normal hardness confirming my pool strips. I am not making any accusations that they were doing this intentionally but I did almost waste 70 dollars and add too much calcium to my pool. I think I prefer when a machine reads the chemistry rather than a technician so there is less room for error. they took the calcium back as a return with out difficulty but it was a real pain in the rear for me and a waste of my time

The Pool Boss recently installed our pool, and it was the best experience I have ever had with any…read morecontractor, period. From day one they were organized and thoroughly planned out, and they executed flawlessly. They overcommunicate in the best way: you have access to everyone's cell phones, they respond promptly, and if you have an issue, they are there instantly. The quality of the work is beyond top tier, and it's clear the entire company is 100% focused on client satisfaction. The only two issues we ran into were self-inflicted on our end. In both cases, Pool Boss was there the next day and fixed them. When I asked for the bill, the answer was, "There is no bill, we just want you to be happy." That tells you everything about how they operate. The team is outstanding: Matt, Dan, Lisa, Joanna, Tyler, Jadyn, William, and the owner, Chris. They define world-class service. If there were a rating above five stars, they would earn it. I wouldn't just say they're highly recommended; I'd say you would be making a huge mistake going with anyone else. The absolute best in every facet of the business: prep, design, price, communication, timelines, and quality. No one better.

He wasn't kidding when he said we had to start permitting process in summer 2025 to open in time for Memorial Day weekend 2026 either - getting construction permit processed was the biggest wait. Now we opened just in time for summer - and she's a beauty! Pool Boss team coordinated the whole project from start to finish - the designer Michael helped us get the plans and measurements exactly right, even taking into consideration our future addition plans for the property. Tina filed and coordinated a million permit forms for us. Matt & Dan were very patient helping us figure out the on-sight restrictions. The construction itself was very quick and fun to watch (the digging was done with surgical precision!). Special thank you to Joanna for very clear communication throughout! The scheduling and ongoing notifications to keep us apprised of the progress were very helpful! We went with PB's recommended contractors - JBJ for electric (super professional - and again, helped us run everything with future construction projects in mind), and United Stamped Concrete for landscaping (Felipe's team did a phenomenal job with out stamped concrete patio and grading, great attention to detail). The orientation with Eduardo was super clear - we've never operated a pool and he patiently explained every single detail about the equipment and maintenance. The equipment can be controlled from an app too - very convenient and we are looking forward to Tyler making it even smarter. :) Thank you so much! It was a very big (HUGE) decision for us - but we are so happy we trusted you. Our three kids are having the time of their life - this pool brings us so much joy already!! P.S. I gave this business thousands- all regrettable life lessons learned. They lie to you. Sleaze their way into you paying up, with them delivering wrong information and extremely poor work. They even lied they showed up to my house, when cameras show no one in sight for hours. I did pool liner with them: started coming off and they blamed anything they possibly can (water itself, the liner they themselves installed, and, the funniest one, the last installer which was them). When they ask you who did the last work- say a competing business or you forgot, and watch how quickly they point out all the wrong things done even they're the ones that did it. Their warranty is bogus but they're smart about avoiding any actually quality work and follow up. Schedule will keep extending. Dates will keep changing. People will show up for 30-45 min and scam you. They'll make problems much bigger so they can come back and take more money. They don't believe your photos, videos, or what you are seeing in your own home. They always follow their made-up delusions. The people who make the decisions and you give your money mostly to are not the people who do the job, nor do they show up to see anything. Things started well when he was asked to help us secure a new hot tub last November. We paid…read moreupfront for the hot tub. Then he asked us to pay the annual contract around Christmas 2025. We were reluctant but did it in light of the holiday season. We were told the hot tub would come multiple times. Sometimes it was valid (e.g., winter weather), others it wasn't. We were upfront about the location challenges, timing, coordination contacts. Long story short, after taking $11K from us, we never heard from him again around June. The hot tub never materialized. This is clearly a lesson in "if it's too good to be true then it's not". At first, we were concerned about him as a person and hoped everything was ok with him. Then after multiple outreaches from us and the person who referred him to us receiving no responses, we concluded that he was likely lying to us the whole time. The person who referred him to us also stopped receiving services as I was told Erik stopped answering him as well. I guess Erik lost multiple customers. To be fair, when we got a hold of him (infrequently between Nov '25 - Jun '26), he's a nice man and quite knowledgeable about hot tubs. However, there's no integrity in business dealing as he just stopped answering phone calls and texts. He asked for chances to make things right, and we provided chances. If he can't do something, just be upfront and honest! We filed a chargeback with our bank in hopes to recover the funds. We will be filing a police report for criminal fraud as it's over $10K and I will share it here so everyone can see all the texts, the invoices paid, and you can judge for yourself whether this is a trustworthy business or not.

We put in our hot tub a few years ago, and we hired Erik almost immediately for weekly service. The first year, service was good and we had no complaints other than our weekly service was rarely weekly. As time passed, our rarely used hot tub always had a problem and was never working properly on the random times we were trying to use it. The past year, our weekly service was almost non existent. I texted repeatedly because our water levels seemed to consistently be low. In January, we were told we needed a motor. We purchased a new motor and we were asked to renew our annual contract in April. After expressing concern that no one had been showing up, I was told they had staffing problems and that Erik would show up personally on a weekly basis and would provide proof of service. Erik showed up once two weeks after signing a 6 month contract to let me know we needed a new cover. We paid for the cover in full, and he has never come again. It's my understanding that he is having some personal issues; I tried to be understanding and asked for responses to my texts and actual service calls. Erik never showed up again when he said he would and stopped texting me. We have since had someone else come out to address our hot tub only to be told that we have had a leak for over a year and that some lights have burnt out.
