    My husband and I should have seen the writing on the wall when a few days after we booked our trip…read morein May, our vacation was scheduled for end of July, they sent a text that we needed to reach out because they had to cancel one of the coming back trip. This was our vacation and now we had to cut back on our vacation, no reason was ever given. I called Greyhound and the customer service rep was not helpful at all, she indicated we were the ones that changed the trip, when I asked her to transfer me to a supervisor I was told that non was available, after asking her various times for a supervisor even in her native tongue I was transferred. I advised the supervisor that their staff needed better training. The purpose of the call was for a refund since we now had to cut our trip short and we paid for 6 days not for 5 and was told they only give "vouchers" to book another trip. That was not going to happen. The day finally came and our bus was late, when the bus came the driver proceeded to go and according to him help another colleague and that took another 15 minutes making us 30 minutes late already. We had various stops and connections. When we got to Milford, CT he stops at a location to get himself lunch and was unavailable for 20 minutes or so. Our next connection was in Philly and it was scheduled to leave at 5:30 ish. With all the traffic and other stops we didn't get to Philly until 6, we were told we missed the connection by 15 minutes, we were booked for the next available connection which was about 6 hours away. The next one was at 11:20 pm, it was over 90 degrees and there was no bus terminal but a small office space with no seating or AC, I have no idea how they can work in those conditions. We were able to go and eat at a restaurant that took sympathy on us and let us stay until closing. When we got back to wait for the bus, we get a notification that bus was delayed and it would be at 12:20 am, people that were waiting became frustrated, the greyhound office was closed and no one would give us answers. It started raining to top it off. The bus came in at 11:10 pm, we got in since our next connection was Baltimore. My heart broke seeing parents with small children and even elderly people waiting for their bus, other couldn't even get a new connection schedule since no one was available. We finally got to Baltimore, heading to Raleigh, and of course busses were late. From Raleigh we scheduled to be in Fayetteville, NC and then finally to our destination Wilmington, NC. Surprise, surprise, we missed the Wilmington connection by an hour. No bus was available until the next day. My husband was going to call for an Uber, but the manager of Fayetteville told us not to worry they will pay for our Uber, that was the only nice thing Greyhound did for us, since the ride was over 2 hours long. The Uber driver was super nice so we didn't mind. When we finally go to Wilmington after 24+ hours on the road, the first thing we did was book a flight back home, we weren't going to deal with Greyhound again. We were also able to leave on Saturday and not on Friday as originally planned since we now were flying home. We lost money, but this is a lesson learned, never ever to booked with them again.

When I reached the Union station, I was told that the bus is cancelled and the next bus is in 3 hours. I told them well put me on another bus - I see Peterpan bus and other companies at this station. At this point, the lady at the counter acts dumb and gives me a toll free number to call. I call and request refund or put me on another bus. After 1+ hour of hold time, I am told that they don't refund, and that I should just take the next bus in 2 hours. Lesson - Don't do business with them. There is plenty of competition. I'm fighting this charge through my credit card company.

I pre-booked and prepaid transportation for my daughter to arrive at school by 7:15 AM. On both yesterday and today, I called around 6:20 AM to confirm, and both days my daughter arrived late. When I contacted dispatch, I spoke with a dispatcher named Sheldon, whose behavior was completely unacceptable. He was rude, dismissive, and highly unprofessional. Rather than taking responsibility or attempting to resolve the issue, he spoke to me disrespectfully and showed no concern for the inconvenience or the impact on my child. What was most alarming is that after I expressed that the service I received was poor, he called me back only to hang up in my face. He then told me he would not notify a manager and that I would need to call back myself at 10 AM. That response is unethical and shows a serious lack of accountability. If a company cannot reliably provide pre-scheduled, prepaid transportation -- and allows dispatchers to treat customers this way -- that speaks volumes about their management and standards. I strongly advise others to look elsewhere, particularly if punctuality, professionalism, and basic respect matter to you.

    I had to call twice before someone picked up at 3:05p on a Wednesday afternoon, and when he did, I…read morebarely understood him through his thick accent. At 3:30p still no cab, so I called dispatch who was suppose to call back to assure me dude was on the way. He didn't. Did I mention my bus is at 4p, the station is 10 min away and their dispatch is located at the bus station? At 3:40p a yellow cab shows up and parks half a block away from me and has the nerve to beep the horn several times. I called United to avoid taking the always expensive and always slow Yellow Cab! I was subjected to some children's Bible lesson radio station the entire way. I made it to the station at 3:55p to get my ticket. Thank God it's the middle of the week and the place was not crowded or else I would have never made it on the bus.

Up front I asked him if he took credit card, even though my client was about a mile away. He said yes and I got in. Besides being extremely creeped out by him staring at me in the rearview mirror, I got to the site and told him to add 3 dollars to the bill (mind you they don't use the meters so they charge whatever the hell they want) so I saw the bill and it read $28. Why $28? Because there's a $25 credit card minimum. I was infuriated and threated to report him to the cops, then he ripped up that ticket and wrote me one for $12 which is still outrageous but at that point I just wanted to get the heck out of there. DO NOT USE THEM THEY ARE SCARY AND WILL RIP YOU OFF!!!

The driver looked about 90 and was high on drugs when I asked him to take me to a restaurant he asked me for my number (I'm a guy) after I said no he accelerated to about 90MPH though a school zone and almost mowed down a family of five pretty reckless driving swerving through the road and quickly got to chic fil a (the only good part was that it was fast. He then got into an argument with the employee taking orders and spit at him, when my food came he ate it to my protest. We then finally got home but not without him continuing his reckless driving. I would never take this service again.

I call to find out where it is and they said it's only going to be an hour. I almost screamed. An hour? The point of making a reservation is to reserve the spot so that I can be on time! They said to call back in 15 min. I did that. They said "oh I'm sorry no one has picked up the ticket..." Furious I opened up my Phone and used an application (not sure if I am allowed to mention ) and got a car in 11 min. The simple fact that a company says they will make a reservation and not honor the agreement is unbelievable to me. I missed my train and thankfully got on the next train. However if you need to head to the airport I would be mortified to have to use their service. Save yourself the headache- don't use the service.
