I booked with Avon for a wedding just as guests! There were ten of us that wanted to have fun and not worry about cars/driving. Through Yelp I contacted Rebecca who quickly got back to me regarding rates, etc. Then I called and confirmed everything with her and our group was super happy! As Rebecca mentioned on the phone, ten adults, was very tight but we only had a 40min ride so we were fine! Our drivers were super friendly and very punctual. The limo was packed with water, drinkware, ​ and napkins. Additionally,​ the ride was smooth and the interior of the limo was clean! read more

Zero stars but app forces you to select at least one. I confirmed car to pick us up at Boston day before we were to arrive home. Was given cell number for limo driver and asked to call when we had our bags. We did arrive 30 min early so would understand if we needed to wait a little. Called and was told by Omar car overheated and was still in Hartford. Was told by the dispatcher there was a major accident in Hartford which was easy to check on and was a lie. If either was true they could have texted me and gave me a heads up. They said they would try to find another service to get us but at this point I had no trust they were telling the truth. Maybe they were but I could not take a chance and wait it out. We were stranded and had to find someone else to pick us up. Do not recommend this car service. Short while mentioned was an hour and Rebecca's comment does not address the lies we were told in the first place as to why the car was not there. I mentioned they offered to find a service but did not trust that would happen. read more

Cannot recommend Avon enough! They were such a big help when my husband was unexpectedly grounded in Connecticut. Rebecca provided me with several transportation options and was extremely patient with me on the phone. We booked a round trip ride to JFK from Wethersfield. Rebecca was wonderful to work with and rescheduled our pick up when our flight home had to be changed. But more importantly, we had a driver arrive early to take us to the airport and a driver waiting for us when we returned. No matter how good someone is to work with, if they cannot deliver on their promised service they are of no value. Avon Transportation delivered and at a reasonable price. My boyfriend and I recently went on vacation and had to leavenout of JFK, roughly 2 hours from our house. Rebecca and Omar are respectful, courteous, hospitable and beyond professional. We love giving business to local companies and so that in and of itself was a big sell point. However, we were beyond impressed at the level of communication they have with their clients. We had multiple confirmations by phone/text/email. Omar drove us to JFK and Rebecca brought us home. I felt very safe with both. I've been in taxis and have utilized other "big box" companies and none come close to what Avon Transportation is. Their prices are fair, they are early to pick up (which for us meant not missing our flight AND just one less thing to worry about after arrive back home) and are incredibly NICE people. Even in a snow storm, Omar and Rebecca were there. Logan Airport closed and my college age daughter was re-directed to Hartford Airport. She landed at midnight and Omar was there to drive her to Boston. Two hours later, she was back in her dorm room.
