He was busy helping another customer, which was actually perfect because it gave my husband and me the opportunity to look at and discuss all the trailers without any "salesman" pressure. We had a ton of questions, and he walked us through every trailer, describing the pros and cons, both inside and out, including construction details, weather packages, and more, until we made our decision, again, with ZERO pressure. The RV was in great shape, and the price was very fair--well below blue book value. His team went through and checked everything for us, even fixing minor issues we pointed out. He is incredibly meticulous, as am I, so it was nice to know he cared about our rig as much as we did. The following weekend, we drove back to pick up our RV, which had been washed and was in top shape, with a new mattress waiting for us. Scott was pleasant to deal with, but we've had issues with our trailer since purchasing. The initial walk through went fine. Once we got the trailer home to Reno is when we starting noticing an extremely foul smell from the inside. We searched and found nothing. Finally we decided to check the grey and black tanks, and sure enough, they were completely full. The black water had solidified because I'm sure it was sitting in there for a VERY long time. It took 2 days and 10 flushes to get it all out. Even now there is still a residual smell, but we are really hoping it goes away with airing out. We also dealt with a ton of worms in the refrigerator. You would think as a dealership, they would check these things before you take it home. Updated review after speaking with Scott. Absolutely recommend. We bought our used TT from Scott and crew. Had a few mechanical problems they repaired before we picked it up - and then had some issues with the slide out a few weeks later. We called Scott; he told us to bring it back in and they fixed it for us - needed a new controller for the slide out, and some minor work on the slide mechanism. I would probably avoid this place unless you can arrange for 3rd party RV inspection. Wish someone else wrote a review before we wasted our time. So this is what we were going to buy: 1999 Tiffan Allegro Bus Diesel $29500- This coach is in very nice condition from front to back and runs excellent What we found was: Cosmetic work had definitely been done by this location (roof sealing). Light fiberglass damage on lower rear had been Painted by vehicle undercoating paint which was initially played off as ignorance but obviously not on vehicle online pictures. That said Vehicle had severe issues that were poorly covered that were played off as dealer not knowing. Might be true might not but as dealer said they have another party that had already looked that was coming back to buy. They also offer no warranties, sold "as is". Major Issues: 1) Refrigerator replaced with home fridge. Placed but not secured and most likely to fall out on turn which could cause damage to RV and/or hurt someone depending on what it hits. See #4 for wiring. 2) Aftermarket Foam under frame, several wires, junction boxes ext covered. 3) Bathroom Vent with fan replaced with cap, cap new with new seal on roof. 4) Extension cords ran from power converter into 3 way spliced directly into interior outlets and appliances. 5) Sidewall cracks on tires, slightly hard to notice due to tire shine put on tread. read more

We went look at a motorhome that Scott had advertised looked pretty nice, wanted to test drive but he said it wasn't ready, couldn't start it or the the generator, he told us belt was bad , our mistake trusting him, we purchased and when we returned to pick it up we ran out of fuel on way to fuel pumps and it had a bad exhaust leak, he said it was smoking because it had ran out of fuel lol no such thing!!, took to a reputable mechanic belt was wrong size his mechanic put on and exhaust leak cost us 4,000.00, and he said washer dryer hookups were there which only the vent, and plug in were there we had to run drain and water to be able to hook up be extra careful dealing with this business!! He was able to help with the financing and even stored the RV for a moth before we picked it up. My first RV purchase, a Retro 177se in brand new condition, never used for at least $4,000. below retail market price. Scott, the owner, never pressured, is extremely professional, courteous and answered all my questions. Purchased the rig in late December and just now getting ready to take it out on my first camping trip. When I filled the propane tanks for the first time, noticed stove wasn't igniting. Scott said bring it by the same day and it was just a matter of learning how to operate. They also made sure everything else worked before leaving. My husband and I bought our fifth wheel trailer here almost a year ago in May. The first time we went to see the trailer, it smelled so good! Candle burning and everything smelled like it was just freshly cleaned. Everything looked great to us, so we proceeded with the purchase. A few days later my husband brought it home. When it arrived at home, I stepped inside and instantly smelled mildew/mold..we looked everywhere but couldn't find anything. Fast forward to a couple months (about August) and I could no longer stand the smell any longer, after searching further..I saw that the back corner carpet behind the reclining chairs was dark..I tore off the trim to find lots of moisture behind the back wall. We decided to tear a section of wall back (since we noticed that the wallpaper is bubbling) sure enough black mold! The closer we looked, the cabinets above had spores growing in them...yay Someone that has lots of experience with trailers, walked through it and pointed out many water damaged areas. So now we have repaired the roof, in hopes to prevent further damage. Now getting quotes to repair/replace the whole back wall, and the bubbled wall in the master bedroom! Oh and now the outside is delaminating In a few places due to the previous water damage....Not gonna be cheap!! We looked into doing a consignment and getting rid of it, instead of dealing with these problems. Basically we will only get $6-8k for it, even though we bough it a year ago for $15k... amazing right?!! We just cannot believe that these items were not found by a company who specializes in RVs, and SHOULD HAVE BEEN DISCLOSED!! No wonder why they lit candles during the walkthrough. They took advantage of a young family buying a trailer. Super disappointed and have already spread the word, that if you want to buy from here (go at your own risk) or higher a 3rd party inspector to thoroughly inspect...obviously AMS doesn't like to disclose their findings. WORD OF CAUTION ! Do not depend on AMS Inspection , They sell "AS IS " so when you drive away, any problems are 100% yours. Pay a 3rd party to inspect or spend the many hours it takes to inspect yourself. Just because things turn on and off during a walk thru does not mean they work. My big mistake was AMS inspection stated both A/C units were operational. During our final walk thru Scott turned both units on and off to show that they indeed worked. The problem that I found out later when we were preparing for our first trip was the units turn on, but the electronic climate control does not turn on the compressor to blow cold air. Best yet is these controls by Intellitec are no longer made or available to replace. I talked to Scott, which of coarse said that these worked when I picked up, and try checking connections and cleaning. Lastly giving me a name of an RV salvage yard. These units cannot be found! Fleetwood said that for now the only thing that they can tell someone to do is, remove unit and send to an electronic repair shop in Ohio. Talking with the repair shop, I was told that because these units are all starting to fail thru-out the U.S. they are at least 6 weeks out for possible repair. They said these electronic climate controls from Intellitic were used from the mid 90's to around 2005 and are now failing. So please don't make my mistake . It would have been well worth the money to pay a 3rd party to do a full and professional inspection. My costly good deal has now been sitting outside for months, too hot to use or get inside! read more
