They spent probably an hour walking me through the different models and their features. When most places wont even return a call it was an easy choice, they earned my business. No way I would let that guy work on my boat! I recently moved to Rocklin and this is the nearest Yamaha Exclusive Service Center that according to Yamaha's website means they are supposed to carry Yamalube oils and engine filters. That is why I went there! When I walked in the store, Alissa was warm and welcoming to myself and my kids. When I informed her we were looking for Yamaha grease and a grease gun, she directed me to Jeremy. When I told him what I was looking for, he snidely stated that he only carried Mercury grease. Puzzled, I asked him wasn't this shop an authorized Yamaha service center. His response was to show even more of an mocking and rude attitude by saying,"Yeah, well, that doesn't mean I have to stock their products." Now, for those of you who don't know me, I'm not a little guy at 6'1" and 285 pounds and I'm not used to people throwing me a lot of attitude. This Jeremy guy is even taller than me so I guess he thinks he can. I think when he saw the irritation on my face, he started to realize he had overstepped his bounds, but at that point I was done. I am an honorably discharged and disabled veteran and I don't deal with people like this. I also don't waste my time educating people who obviously don't know that some people "vote with their dollars". I will not spend any money at this shop. Boating is supposed to be fun. Dealing with service and parts shouldn't be this big a deal...especially a simple thing like grease. Maybe there is a big rivalry between Mercury and Yamaha grease, I wouldn't know, but that doesn't excuse condescending behavior to potential customers. It's sad this guy chose to ruin my first impression of this repair center. You only get one chance to make a first impression. They not only provide exceptional and knowledgeable service, they also treat you right. I just picked up my boat from getting a repair and had two employees come out in the pouring rain to help me hitch up and remove the cover off my boat so I could get on the road ASAP. Jeremy knows what he is doing and it's great to have a mechanic who is not only extremely knowledgeable but also trustworthy. This is my first power boat. I bought it off the show room floor. When I picked the boat up, the staff provided no review of any of the boat systems nor any of the safety features. When I had a friend offer to help me, he noted that there were no stern tie down straps (imagine if the bow eye winch had failed. on my way home and the boat had come off the trailer onto the freeway!). The salesman told me to go to Home Depot and buy straps that C&C would reimburse me for (so much for customer service!). Additionally, all 3 batteries were completely dead and would not take or hold a charge and the tires were slightly more than 1/2 full. A five minute review of the boat's systems would have discovered almost if not all of these problems. On the third trip out with the boat, the bow winch broke. I used a spare rope to secure the winch handle to the trailer. TOTAL DISAPPOINTMENT IN A BOAT BUYING EXPERIENCE! read more

She told me her staff is the complete opposite and that I was the one bothering them for hanging around the shop! Excuse me! I'm the CUSTOMER!! Jeremy and the other two staff members in the sales department are incredibly full of themselves. When asked about my experience they completely lied to the owner. I wouldn't normally do this but I have no choice..my husband showed up tue morn 10/4/16 to get his boat looked at , he was told Earlier in the week to stop by the next week ,so he did! My husband showed up 10 min before they opened and waited . Not sure who the gentlemen was but he pulled up and my husband waived to him and he basically asked my husband to get out of his parking spot , so he kindly did. My husband waited to get help and he started to work on his truck ..so my husband left and now I'm here to tell his story ..my husband is too nice ..He respected that place and has been helped before we live pretty close to that location ..but now we are getting our boat fixed in rio Linda!! let me start off by saying it takes alot to impress someone (me) who works with the public on a daily basis. my first experience with these guys i lost all the keys to my boat. Ryan handled my concern promply and treated it as if i was in there spending 50k on a new boat and i only spent $7 These guys are a class act. super down to earth. feels like friends when i go in there. i feel their prices are competitive however ive never checked, just becasue there service is so AWESOME and i dont mind paying more if they were higher. I have no issues with my current company that services my boat (5 miles from home) but next service will be coming here (1 hour away) just because of the customer serivce these guys offer. you guys have earned a life long customer!!! keep up the good work!!! -Danny C. read more

I purchased a 225 optimax from an individual who had the motor located at c&c marine in citrus heights. Both the seller and c&c marine assured me that the motor was in good shape and had no problems. Should have heard it run, my bad. I took the word of c&c marine and purchased it. I had the motor professionally mounted and $2,500 later it is running. The pcm was bad and 5 of the 6 coil packs were bad. read more

Same story as everyone else took my boat into a shop for a small repair end up fixing stuff I didn't tell him to charge me $700 for a fuel pump so I said okay fix it took it upon himself to replace a fuel line and coil pack he then charge me an extra 400 hundred so my total bill was $1,130 so I said you never called to confirm that. anyway I told him I'll give him $1,000 and he started screaming at me and yelling and wanted to take parts off my engine lesson learned will never ever go there again he later called and apologized for screaming and yelling place is a joke beware read more

Excellent customer service! Jeremy was able to help me diagnose my needs immediately for repairs as well as Preston showed me ROI options if I was interested in a new/used boat vs repairs. They were not trying to sell me, they laid out options and talked me through them. What I love about C&C marine, is that these are actual bass fisherman. They have honest feedback on various boat manufacturers. They understand the needs and requirements of owning a bass boat as well as I was able to pick up some fishing tips while I was there! Score!! They say the 2 happiest days in your life is the day you buy your boat and the day you sell your boat. I would like to add a 3rd "happiest" day.....the day Jeremy and his service crew at C&C Marine take your boat under their wings and make it their baby. They have handled all my service needs since they opened shop in Citrus Heights, both routine annual service or an emergency. As a bass fishing guide, losing your boat for a few days or week, along with the tedious job of unloading all the gear then reloading it, really hampers your schedule. Enter my last episode of taking on unwanted water. I knew what had to be done and was hoping for a saving grace. I called Jeremy......and got EXACTLY what I was hoping to hear, bring it in Friday at 9:AM and we'll have you out by lunch. Took in my bass boat, without unloading gear, dropped it off, went to breakfast, came back around noon and there she was, sitting outside ready to go with all new water intake and outflows, new hoses and bilge pump installed and ready for action. A full day on Clearlake today proved their worth as the boat came home without a drop of unwanted water entering the Champion boat. Hats off to C&C Marine, especially Jeremy with all his professional service experience. They always say that when you find a good marine "wrencher"....keep them. I'm not sure how C & C stays in business. Staff is poorly trained and comes up significantly short on product knowledge or ability to communicate to customers. Poor follow-through on requests. Business fails to return email and phone requests. Not very customer savy. In my experience, bottom 25% of customer service. You might feel better served elsewhere. read more
