Great place to have your boat serviced. I have been here multiple times and have always been treated fairly with price and service.

Says Chinese parts are crap but seeing that they make almost everything he is full of shit. Wanted $200 for an $80 part on eBay and then tossed out comments after I said I would stop wasting his time (he said people waste his time) and left. -- Like the motorcycle shops that all crashed, people are fed up with the old asshole behind the counter (unlike big corps AUTOZONE etc) where you have to deal with there arrogant crap. NO MORE. We can find it on Ebay, read, verify, match order and have it on doorstep in days without dealing with these low life weasels. I built my whole race bike, service my cars, get all my electronic stuff this way plus so much more, almost everything but food. The internet did good on this. Screw his old stupid ass.

But they were impossible to get ahold of, they never called to tell you that your boat still exists or if they are ever going to fix it! I didn't bug them til month 2, that's when I started to get irritated! They were so rude and lacked any customer service what so ever! Those dirtbags don't even know what empathy means! When I picked up my boat, it was still in back IN THE TESTING TANK STILL! Dirty and sundamaged, they left it in the summer sun the whole time, new carpet? Not anymore! So bad that when I went to tie up the motor, the bungee cord disintegrated in my hands! Oh, and the best part, the dirtballs stole my little iPod speakers from the boat! How classy! Screw this place, I hope it goes out of business

The…read morerental and launch process was straightforward, which I appreciated because this was only my second time kayaking. We did not make reservations ahead of time; we arrived right when the center opened. We explored about two miles at a leisurely pace in just over an hour. We went north across the lake to the pond area and felt like adventurers as we wove in and out of the watery passageways. We saw many swans and even a beaver. It was beginner-friendly, but it still felt novel and cool. We brought our own life vests, but they have plenty available for anyone who does not bring one. All the college-age students working there were very friendly, and they seemed genuinely happy to be there. The parking lot became busy later in the morning, so we were glad we had arrived early.

Heaven for watersport lovers!!…read more This is the nicest and biggest aquatic rental facility in the Sacramento area. Parking: $10 if you don't rent their equipment, with plenty of spaces in the complex. Otherwise, you can park for "free" at the State Park area if you have the Golden Poppy Annual Pass ($125). The park also has plenty of picnic tables and a small beach area for sunbathing. Restrooms: Women's (5 stalls), Men's (5 stalls), plus 2 unisex restrooms. There are plenty of rental options, including single/tandem kayaks, SUP boards, and canoes. If you are in a group, all renters must sign in at the same time because the rental period starts once you sign in. They also have CREW and CANOE clubs! All rentals must be returned by 8 PM or you may be fined. No cycling or weight training on the premises, but there is a basketball court on the side. All life jackets, equipment, and docks were clean and in good condition. The payment line moves quickly. If possible, print the waiver at home to save time. You also need to create an account on their website before they can place your order; otherwise, you'll need to create one on the spot when purchasing tickets. After purchasing, you leave your driver's license and car key with them. There is a 15-minute courtesy buffer deducted from your total rental time for walking to the dock, restroom breaks, setup, etc. Service: friendly and efficient. If you change your mind: for example, from a SUP board to a kayak: they simply call the front desk and let you switch at the dock. Lake Natoma is perfect for kayaking or paddleboarding because it starts wide and gradually narrows. The current is almost nonexistent until around 4 PM. It's about 2 miles to the small island near Willow Creek Recreation Area, which makes a perfect scenic picnic spot.
