Excellent communication and excellent work. Brought my boat in for repairs and afterwards it was like "nothing happened over here".

After an accident, I needed the fiberglass on the side of my boat repaired. I called Morrison Marine, and spoke with Oswaldo. He quickly got me an estimate to provide to my insurance company. The estimate was more than reasonable and the estimate was approved by the insurance company the next day. Oswaldo got me into his shop the next day. He was professional. & knowledgeable. He told me depending on the availability of parts it might take three weeks to get my boat back. To my surprise Oswaldo was able to get the boat marine fender (bumper) in a few days. my boat was fixed like new in a week. The boat looks great. Oswaldo was able to repair the trailer as well, the paint matches perfectly. Again, my boat looks like new. I highly recommend Morrison Marine for any boat fiberglass repair. read more

I have a fiberglass tonneau cover on my 25 year old truck. One of the hinges decided to delaminate itself over time and no one even makes these hard covers anymore so I decided to have it repaired. I got a quote after sending them pictures through text and brought it in a couple weeks later. It was repaired and ready to pickup the next day. They did a fantastic job at a reasonable price! read more

Morrison Marine - Boat Repair Near Me - Sacramento, California

Firstly, Morrison Marine deserves 10+ stars instead of 5. I picked up a gently used '10 Malibu LSV in late April that was very well taken care of. The prior owner however put some marine putty on an area on the transom that I was concerned about and wanted professionally fixed, as well as some oxidation on the hull and a small cosmetic chip in the bow to name a few. I did some serious research and reached out to several shops that can supposedly do this, but Morrison-Marine had stellar five star only reviews dating back as far as over 10 years ago. I contacted Oswaldo and he quickly got back to me with a generalized quote and that he could help me. Him and his team were able to get me in right away thankfully, even with the peak boating season approaching. I traveled over 300 miles round trip to take my boat to him which included a trip there in a freak May heavy rainstorm. He greeted me promptly and told me I was in good hands and he'll take it from there. Through the whole process him and his team kept me updated through excellent communication and pictures and I genuinely appreciated his honesty. Fixing the chips and gelcoat/fiberglass wasn't an issue, it was just that matching the color was going to be the hardest part he explained and that it'll take time. He also discovered some other areas that could use attention that came to light but he also was very honest in his recommendations which was refreshing to hear. He reached out to me asking if it was okay if they cut the "green seal" I had on because that was the only way to fix my boat and put it on blocks. He was so kind to also write on the invoice stating that the seal was intact upon arrival to his shop and that they had to cut it and signed the paper too(just in case anything gets questioned when I launch again). I also forgot to bring the LSV emblem on the back the previous owner took off and I was able to send it to him through the mail. They got me in and out just in time for Memorial Weekend and my first trip with my new boat. I also ordered some factory decals from Malibu for the sides and his team, Joe and Beto generously applied them and were so patient with my "perfectionist brain" and making sure they were perfect and straight . They spent some serious time doing that and helping me. When I picked up the boat my jaw hit the floor. It looked like a brand new boat! Everything was perfect. You couldn't see anything that was previously wrong, the color was perfect and the boat was so nice and polished that my cover kept sliding off as I was trying to put it on when I got home. I also ran into an issue with my trailer not related to his work and called Oswaldo for help. He answered his phone greeting me by my name and explained what likely happened and how to fix it and sent me a link for the part I needed. He truly goes out of his way to help his customers! Morrison Marine will definitely have my business for as long as I have a boat, and I will absolutely recommend him to all my boat friends and people looking for marine repair. Oswaldo, Joe, Beto and MM Team...THANK YOU!!! Do not go anywhere else for your marine gel coat/fiberglass repair! The entire Morrison Marine team and Oswaldo truly care about their customers and it shows in their exceptional and detailed work and excellent reviews and recommendations. read more

I took my boat here to fix 3 separate areas of gelcoat/ fiberglass. All three had some non matching filler from the previous owners diy job, and one of the areas had a void, a big hole with no fiberglass behind it. I wanted them all fixed right by a professional. I was told the repairs were done and picked up my boat from the shop on a Saturday before the owner had looked it over. I wasn't really happy with how one of the 3 repairs turned out so I told the owner and brought the boat back. He said he wished he would have looked it over before I picked it up, and that he wanted me completely satisfied with their work. So he had the repair done again for no additional charge and now I'm 100% satisfied with the completed work. I recommend the shop because he is very friendly and stands behind their work. The outcome was beautiful, you can't even tell where the repairs were done, all three of them. read more

Oswaldo and his team do amazing work. They have done extensive repairs on more than 1 boat for me and their work and timeliness is impeccable. VERY few people actually know how to do fiberglass and gel coat work anymore, most shops will just use bondo and automotive paint. If you want your boat fixed the right way, give Oswaldo a call. read more

If you need glass work it's definitely worth giving this company a call to at least get a quote. I needed repairs done to my jet ski hull. Oswaldo and his team took care of the damage and then some. Quality and service were excellent. He was more than willing to help and work with me on price when other companies were quoting me ridiculous prices. Dropped my ski off Saturday and the entire hull was repaired and coated by Monday. read more

This is my second time using a Morrison Marine for some fiberglass repairs. I have a pair of jet skis that a friend of mine bumped into each other and caused some damage. Morrison Marine did a first class job repairing all the nicks and dings on the bottom of my 2007 Chaparral, as well as a pretty large and deep gash from a rock hit out on Folsom Lake. I have no complaints at all. I would absolutely use them again. I received photos of the progress as the work was being done. I felt like they appreciated my business. read more

Another boat sideswiped our 2012 Formula 370ss when we had it parked at a marina. The impact tore portions of fiberglass off the hull and bent the stainless trim pieces. I heard that MM was the best for fiberglass repair, but Mel and his team exceeded my expectations. They repaired the fiberglass, repainted the stripes and reinstalled the stainless trim. The boat looks beautiful again!! Thank you for your attention to detail and for the excellent service!! I would give MM my highest unconditional recommendation. read more

Did A+++ on my PWC repair. As picky as I was with making sure body lines were exact and color match of the gel, Eswaldo and his crew knocked it out of the park making it look OEM. Hondas are discontinued so it was nice to have it repaired and still be used instead of getting totaled! Great Job! read more

I took my Ski boat to Morrison to check for possible gelocoat / fiberglass issues. I also needed the bungs to be re- carpeted ( of which they told me they do not do). The carpet had been worn bare to the wood in spots. But they did that anyway along with inspecting the gelcoat which was in great condition. They did an excellent job & the job was done before the estimated time. Oswaldo, the owner was great to deal with & I recommend them, easy to do businees with. read more

I took in My new mastercraft. It had damage from a sandbar. Morrison marine repaired the damage perfectly. They also found a factor defect in the gel coat. They repaired all of it in a timely fashion. Repairs looked better then the factor. Any damage to my boat I'll definitely take it there! read more

We took our boat to Morrison's for some gel coat repair, and to their credit, once they started the work, they realized the job could be done with less effort and expense, and adjusted the cost accordingly. They not only did an excellent job on repairing the scrapes in the gel coat on my bow, they earned my respect for doing the work in the most cost efficient manner. I will definitely return to Morrison's when the need for boat fiberglass work arises. read more

Morrison Marine has repaired fibreglas for me on two occasions... a Megabyte with a split deck to hull joint that was taking on water badly and a new Lido 14 that had cosmetic damage from a dropped mast. In both cases, after Morrison did their wizardry, there was no way to tell where the damage had been. Morrison gave me a clear estimate, did the work on time and as bid. Best of all... it was a competitive price. Their customer service is flawless... keeping you updated on their progress, so no guessing with Morrison. These guys are the masters at fiberglas, and not just on boats. I saw cars they'd repaired that ended looking like museum pieces. This is a shop of craftsmen who complete their repairs on time, on budget and on point. You won't find a better one for the money. I would definitely include Morrison on any fibreglas bid. read more

I found Morrison Marine online when I googled dry rot repair. Although I did not spend money with them they still took the time to answer my emails and give me free information. They gave excellent advice. It's getting harder to find this kind of customer service! They could have blown me off. No doubt I'd use them if I was in their area. Thanks MM staff!! read more

Round two with my 1995 Sea Ray: Apparently I'm getting vain in my old age because I really wanted to get all those 'wear and tear' cracks and chips in the gelcoat finish repaired so my 20+ year old boat looks all nice and clean. Mel and his technicians did an outstanding job and my old boat looks like new! Now my Sea Ray and I can enter a beauty contest together, but maybe I better make a trip to my dermatologist first for a nip here and a tuck there... Thanks Mel! read more
