I called the Geico (US BOAT) insurance company for a tow and sat on hold for an hour - there I was drifting toward the rock cliffs - getting closer and closer - too deep to drop anchor, I was getting pretty nervous. (Oh! Geico Boat Insurance AIN'T Geico Auto - different culture - different everything - don't fall for it!) I called Captain John (Owner of The Lake Tahoe Boat Co.) - he answered his cell immediately and told me to drop anchor anyway to slow my drift toward the rocks. "I'll come and tow you in right now if you can't reach US Boat!" Well, Geico never answered so I called the number for emergency boat towing in the Tahoe keys and they came & towed me in. Here's a guy (Capt. John) who owns & operates several businesses - like all businesses, suffering labor shortages, and he personally offers to drive to the keys - get in his boat - and tow me home....
