Mike the owner stayed late so I would have time to drive up and get the parts I needed. Price , value and service is what makes them worth the drive. And I'll toss in a couple of extras. They had our boat for 1-1/2 months with absolutely zero communication from them and then lied about fixing our warranty issues. At this point I'm not even sure they completed the 20hr. Service that we paid for. Our warranty issues weren't minor, we lost all steering on our 24' pontoon boat out in the middle of the lake due to their original install being improper. Then had the audacity to lie and say they fixed it knowing full well they didn't and putting our family in danger once we launched in the water. I would never recommend anyone to do business with Auburn Outboard Marine.

One of the guy kinda acknowledge us but proceeded to eating their sandwich and watching Tv. The other guy didn't say anything at all. The guy who kinda acknowledge us said to help ourselves to look around. We were both shocked . So we did look around. Finally, the guy (I think he's the manager) stood up and talk to us, and my husband says "I have no clue what kinda of fishing boat I should get" and he said "Just go on YouTube and what you like" lol . My husband was trying to ask for help but still insist to go to YouTube and go to the boat site to figure out what he likes for different options and they can order it for him. We are looking for some direction and customer service and what we have experienced at this place was we felt like we are a bother to them and not wanting to sell a boat. We are both so confused when we left. So, we drove to West Coast Boat center in Rocklin. We were welcomed and they took the time to show the features online to us and right there and then we bought the boat. We felt both welcome and willing to help us at least have a good conversation and effort to find what we are actually looking for even if it is online.

They assured me the boat was an easy fix and that I should drop it off 2 weeks later, on Monday May 30th, and it would be ready for pick up on that Friday, 2 days before I was to leave on my trip. I dropped the boat as planned and when I re-visited on weds was told by their technician that the boat would be ready for pick up on Friday as promised. When I returned to pick up the boat on Friday, I was told by the technician they didn't even touch the boat and I was out of luck. The technician blamed it all on the owner Todd. This is an unethical business owner and they strung me along for 3 weeks and never even looked at the boat . They all knew I had a family trip planned but literally they lied to me, strung me along and laughed when I arrived to picked up the boat. NEVER EVER bring your boat to M & M. The worst customer service and ethics I've witnessed from a local business. All they had to do when I first approached them was tell me they didn't have time and I would have made other arrangements. And than they lied again when I inquired mid week if the boat was on track. This is an unethical business. Don't get stung like I did!!
