I don't interact much with bank employees inside the bank. So I can't say much about person to…read moreperson customer service. But as far as the overall package goes, Tri Counties Bank has been awesome. I switched to Tri Counties several years ago, when the mega bank I was with (rhymes with bells bargo) changed their policy, they gave me no interest and they made it more difficult to avoid monthly checking fees. I looked at different local banks and credit unions, and decided on Tri Counties. They really do offer great service. I earn interest on my checking account. It's not a huge amount, but it's better than paying a fee. Though we rarely use ATMs outside of the bank and supermarkets, the ATM fees are refunded as promised. When issues have come up, they have called me personally --something that has never happened with any mega bank I've been with. Online banking and bill pay is easy. And when I discovered some questionable charges on my account, I called them up right away. They acted right away --they cancelled my card and reissued a new one, helped me understand how my number was stolen and gave me good advice for protecting my card in the future, and they refunded the $40 that was stolen from my account.

As a small business owner with a background in business I thought, "I don't need anyone to manage…read moremy books, I can totally handle this." I sure how to eat those words! I found myself busy running the business and not wanting to spend my free time doing my books. I purchased QuickBooks and again totally thought I would do my own books. I spent less than 5 minutes on QuickBooks when I realized my time would be better spent doing other things and paying a professional to do my books. Enter Jeff with Anderson Accounting. My main concerns with hiring someone to do my accounting and books were making sure they knew what they were doing, were looking out for my best interest as a business owner without doing anything shady (don't want to be in trouble with the IRS) and were trustworthy. Jeff came highly recommended so I met with him for an initial consultation. I thought maybe my business would be too small for him but soon realized he could be a big help for even my small business. He was able to handle everything my business needed and get my books in order and update my QuickBooks. Thank God there are people like him who actually enjoy boxes of receipts and invoices and entering things into QuickBooks because I can't stand it! He was very knowledgeable when it came to what deductions I could take and pointed out things that I had not accounted for. Highlights of Anderson Accounting: Trustworthy Very affordable Extremely knowledgeable about taxes and business deductions I would recommend him for any business large or small.
