My first impression of DB Solomon was positive. Rick was gracious and personable. Rick had experienced a fire himself and his empathy was genuine. Initially it was smooth sailing although there were some minor hiccups along the way which were immediately resolved. I was reassigned Brandon as my public adjuster and it's been smooth sailing. Brandon's quick to answer any questions that arise, considerate and calm mannered. His character and dedication to DB Solomon is contagious. My case has been challenging to work with because my insurance company, like many others, has left the State of California. They're restructuring within the company. As a result, agents are training new hires. Many of whom did not know about my case because of a lack of communication within the company. In short, Brandon has spent hours on hold waiting to speak to an agent only to be redirected to another department to start back at square one. Nonetheless, Brandon has quietly persevered through insurance companies red tape and bureaucracy finding resolution within a timely manner. Here's an example of why you need a public adjuster on your side. DB Solomon came though when I was inundated with intimidating letters, email and text messages from the company who rebuilt my home following the fire. The builders demanded I pay over $30,000 for unpaid expenses within three days from signing. Everyday their accounting department sent multiple texts and emails demanding my e-signature. Then came the certified letters from FedEx. Had I signed via an E-signature or formal letter I would be held responsible to pay the builders within three business days from my signature. The accountant insinuated I had $30,000 from the sale of my home. $30,000 that belonged to the builders that I was withholding. To say I lost sleep over these false allegations is an understatement. Brandon was calm and reassured me the builders were paid in full by my insurance company. He asked for the formal letter to be sent to his email and said he would call the builders. All communication from the builders has ceased. Brandon kept me up to date, I knew what was going on behind the scenes every step of the way. DB Solomon has been my best advocate. I provided…read moreall required documents more than a month in advance, but due to her workload, the return was submitted on the filing deadline. I was not given an opportunity to review the return before submission. Afterward, I discovered a significant number of errors that resulted in several thousand dollars in financial impact. I raised these issues with her, but she initially responded that the tax season was over. After multiple follow-up emails, she eventually amended my Form 1040; however, the amended return contained additional errors and made the situation worse. At that point, I had no choice but to hire another CPA to correct the mistakes and clean up the filings. I have never encountered a CPA with this level of incompetence. If your tax situation is even moderately complex, I strongly recommend staying away from this firm.

Excellent installers…read more This review is a little late since the install was about 3 years ago. But I've had no issues and so I decided to give a review. I requested to install an 85" TV in the living room with a Sonos sound bar and separate wireless subwoofer. I also bought a PS5 and asked them to install and route the wires. I asked for high quality wires that can handle 4K or higher and they made sure of it and showed me the box/manufacturer of the cables. I did buy an expensive TV mount but they told me that I would be better off buying a cheaper cost mount that extended better and recommended me one from Walmart. They weren't wrong. So I returned the expensive one. I appreciate their expertise and recommendation. They knew that I was very picky on installation details, routing wiring (especially hiding visible wires), mounting location and they did an excellent job. I would definitely hire them again.
