THE STORY: The insurance company adjuster, a "hired gun" was flippant, condescending and constantly talked over me in telephone conversations and was just plain rude. Finally being fed up I desired to put an end to this torturous drama. So I decided to get my own "gunslinger" and on a Thursday afternoon I called DBS, left message, within the hour I received a call and because I was 100 miles north of Paradise (Camp Fire 11-08-2018), The gentleman drove, on Saturday morning, from his office to my temporary housing. Within the first 10 minutes of our meeting he found $2500 that Insurance company owed and needed to pay me. When my, more competent "gunslinger" submitted the final contents inventory for payment; reimbursement (by snail mail, mind you) was in our hand in seven business days. Additionally I would add, that they didn't just leave me high and dry after the job was done they stayed in and help me complete the inventory to a much higher level for the PG&E lawsuit. If you do not have your own public adjuster (Gunslinger) yet, hire these guys they are the best (vernacular again the "Bomb" the "Dope") Next is the rest of the money owed for rebuilding the house... If you are getting the run-around from your insurance company, like I am, Daniel Soliman is your man! My insurance company was unwilling to pay for water damage to my house, despite receiving three estimates from contractor's I contacted, that were higher than theirs. I was then informed that I would need to hire an appraiser at my own expense. Thanks to Daniel's honesty and sharp-wittedness, he told me how I could avoid this costly process by instead requesting the insurance company promptly provide me with the name of at least one repair person to make the repairs for the amount of the insurance company's estimate. California Code of Regulations, Title 10, Chapter 5, Subchapter 7.5, Section 2695.9 (e)2 was the cite he shared with me. Two years ago we had a chimney fire that eventually lead to a complete new roof rewiring sheet-rock etc. All the contents of the main living area were completely drenched and covered with wet insulation and sheet rock.
