I told them I would rather wait 15 minutes at Target than drive across town, wait in another line, and then come back to Target, but I shouldn't have had to tell them that. There was a woman behind the counter whose job it seemed to be to expedite things, but actually she was just rude and unhelpful and cutting people off to move things along. You know what doesn't make things faster? Doing them twice. The young man who had told me to go to the other store saw how flustered I was after I told him how rude and unhelpful they were all being. After that, he helped me get my prescription changed and get checked out and was quite nice. The overall experience there is stressful and hectic, and even more so if you are tired and in pain. Not only that, but this was after waiting for a medication for an unspecified amount of time because they didn't have it and couldn't tell me when they could get it. When I started to explain that I got in line because one self-checkout was broken and the other was being used, she interrupted and dismissed me with a wave of her hand, berating me (again) for bringing her a pair of sunglasses (the only pair that fit me!) which had a barcode that wasn't working in her scanner. All this time, she's criticizing a young kid who's working behind her.
