Vee Cosmetics got the approval from the county to open for business again. All facial customers have to measure their oxygen level via a oximeter before they are allowed to go inside. They have a HEPA filter air purification system in each of their rooms and all the estheticians are wearing masks at all times. I felt pretty safe and the facial was better than before because they upgraded their machine during the COVID shut down. They are also currently running a limited time promotion on their Shiseido products, there is a really nice promotion gift with purchase but if you don't want the gift they will give you a 15% discount. That is a way better deal than buying online! read more

Before Covid I had bought a 10 facial package and had 3 years to use them. After only 2 months Covid happened and everything closed. When they opened I scheduled my next facial and was asked to pay $15/- more per facial as they had upgraded their machines and somehow I had to compensate them for those. I asked them not to use the machines on me and that we are in a binding contract and I would not like to pay hundreds of dollars more (I lost my job during covid and could not as well). I was told that would I rather see the spa closed down the spa totally in which case I would loose all the left over money. No amount of logic worked with the lady. Finally we agreed upon scheduling that facial, paying extra 15 for that facial and if I wanted she will reimburse the rest. After the facial, I asked her to reimburse the rest, to which she added that now that you are not in contract all the past and current facials will be the price + $30/- more. I ended up paying almost as much as the 10 package facial for less than half of the number of facials. It was wrong to break the existing contract and force the past customers to pay hundreds of dollars extra. I will neither recommend, nor go there again. read more

Been visiting Vee for 3 years now and can say that this is one of the best massages in the area. Very clean facility and a wonderful set up; no doubt that you are always getting clean/crisp linens. If you purchase the 10 pack; a great 90 minute massage will cost you $75.00. You just can't beat that! The massage staff is small; so you need to book ahead. The only minor complaint (which knocked my rating down 1 star) is the noise levels out in the hallway. I was in Mountain View yesterday and i planned this a few weeks back. Since i knew in advance, I made an appointment at Vee Cosmetics for a facial. I had called previously and spoke to them about how they performed facials since i have sensitive skin. Friday was very hot; and i had to dash from my work to the shop. When i went in, I was told i would have a technician named Sherry. Felt dehydrated but wasn't given any water. Had the service using Shisedo products. They felt very rich & oily. Sherry massage my face & pressed her fingers which had product by my eyes; some of which got into my eyes (ouch) & bothered me for the rest of the evening. Got hands massaged & mitts on them for awhile. That was nice. Otherwise, Sherry used an old machine that has a hose which is used to suck impurities out of your pores. This caused a little bit of bruising on my skin! Not happy! Then went i went to pay the bill, the owner does her sales pitch offering a package of x facials for $495. Massages and facials are my thing! I was happy to stumble upon Vee via yelp. I originally visited here just to buy Shiseido eyeliner and inquired about the facials, Denise the owner gave me the details and also gave me free samples without pushing any products on me. She told me about both the ladies that work here and gave me a preference of one against the other based on their english aptitude. It really does not matter to me as I am an immigrant myself, but full points for the thoughtfulness and intent of providing good service. My scheduled appointment was with Veronica at 6.00PM (convenient timing for patrons to get here after work). She cleaned my face, put a face wrap and while the face wrap dried gave me a massage on my hands and shoulders, my face not only had a glow at the end of the facial but my body felt relaxed because of this combination of massage and facial. This is definitely not the only store offering this combination, however, the service is just better than my other favorite facial places. Veronica took 90 minutes to complete the facial and I felt completely transformed after the experience. I bought the 5 package deal after and got a complimentary Shieseido travel kit which works like magic if you haven't used their products before. Its hard to find a place that will give you a 90-min facial for less than $90 and they use sheseido products. This place is pretty well priced especially if you get a 10 or 20 pack. The only problem is that you can't share it, so its a lot to fork over at one time. Ive been going to Sherri for a few years now, she does a good job deep cleaning to your skin and incorporates a bit of massage at the end. I went to a few asian places growing up where you left with a super red face post extractions and had to be in hiding for a few days after. You won't look crazy after you leave this place. Your skin will feel refreshed and super clean! So, if you are looking for a place with the basics (no amenities like Burke Williams), sheseido products, and thorough cleaning at a reasonable price.. this is the place! read more

Great place for facial. It is 90min long. No place does it for 90min straight working on you. This place actually spent 90min on your facial. The price was extremely good when it started out few years ago. I have referred about 10pp. They all purchased package deal. After that, never renew. The price has double. wanted to charge American price. Buying a package of 5 or 10 can be a little deep for the pocket. If you break it up per visit, then the price is not too bad. The payment method is not flexible. Package can't be share. That is too bad. If I was the owner, I definitely have the package be shared. This way, the package runs out faster and chance of the person renewing is higher. don't get me wrong, they do a great job. You definitely feel the different the next day. Just when you finished and walk out after the treatment, your face might look a little oily. read more

Twice a year, my aging skin gets some serious pampering here. In honor of our 6-months-apart birthdays, my childhood friend Margie and I have been coming here regularly for years to relax in adjacent rooms for 90 minutes, together. The facials are 90 minutes long! Complete with shoulder and hand massage, countless creams, and soothing spa music, it is by definition a beauty nap. I've given up trying to remember what's happening at what time, how many creams they've applied - I just drift off into happy relaxation mode and wake up glowing. The service is great - slightly chattier if you speak Chinese, but very polite if you don't (or in my case, speak bad Chinese). Prices are reasonable, and you can get a 5-facial prepaid package for some additional savings. They also sell all the Shiseido goods. You can call for an appointment up to one month in advance. Apparently, the recession has not hurt their business - this aging skin is way overdue because we haven't been able to find coinciding adjacent-room appointments. read more

I've been a loyal customer for over 10 years. I was searching for good salon for years until I found Vee Cosmetics. Everybody is great but I love Sheri the most. I love her massage and after her treatment I feel and look 10 years younger :). Salon is very clean, professional and they use Shiseido product. Prices are very reasonable. I think this is the best place to have a facial if that's really what you want to have. You can't compare it to La Belle or Burke Williams spa for the ambiance, plush robe, slippers, drinks, etc. After just one try, I bought the 5 -package card. You can't share it. If you want to have a facial day with a friend, your friend need to either pay $90 for one time visit or get the package deal. The nice thing is, you can buy the day pass and if you like it, they let you buy the 5, 10, or 20 package and pay the difference. My face feels clean, my shoulder relaxed, and my hands smooth. While waiting for mask to settle, they give you shoulder and hand massage. It feels great. I always come here to get the rest of my make up or beauty product. They are also nice to my kids even though they leave a lot of hand prints on their glass display! read more

This shop is a fraud, I bought facial packages before the pandemic and have not finished it, I was trying to schedule facial now and the owner lie to me that I already used up my package, then I show her the proof that I still have unused facial, and she told me my package already expired which the package not supposed to have expiration date, and if there is a new term added she should have communicated to me ahead of time. Now she is not letting me use my unused facial, she said the only way I can use them as credit is to buy new package which after she tries to lie about my package, what in the world do you think I want to continue going to this place. So my option is I lose the remaining facials which worth few hundreds or keep going to the dishonest business. I understand that pandemic is hard for the small business, if she communicate this better, I'm sure many people is willing to go through the hardship together, but the lying and dishonest part is totally not unacceptable assuming the customers won't know and only admit it if they get caught. I've purchased a $5 Groupon for a 90 min facial at Vee cosmetic, a $65 value. I called to make an appointment and found out that I have to pay $65!!! The lady who I talked to was rude and told me that $5 is the price of the coupon which is a total none sense. There is nothing mentioned in the voucher fine prints that there are additional fees at the time of appointment. Their doing falls advertisement and deceiving customers. I have been going to Vee Cosmetics for the past few years. I love this place. I go there for monthly facial. It is a treat for myself. It is worth the money. Using Shiseido product. Clean place and friendly staff. I recommend Sheri and she does a very good job deep cleansing my face and she is good at tweezing eyebrows. Recommend to buy a package. Good deal! THe facial lasts for 90 minutes and you are in a private room with the staff. It makes me feel very comfortable and relaxed. I love going to Vee Cosmetics to get my facial done with Dennis. I have been going regularly for the past 6 years - each month I treat the time there a treat for myself. This is the best facial place I have ever been - I tried 3-4 places before starting here. Dennis and and the staff are professional and super friendly. Dennis is amazing. She always takes time to do every detail right. She plays relaxing music during the session and I feel very relaxed. Sometimes I feel so relaxed that I took a nap during the session. The place is spotlessly clean always, which I appreciate and enjoy very much. I'm a long time Shiseido product customer and I always buy my products here. Dennis and the staff are always ready to suggest products which fits me best but they are never pushy. Love it, love it. Just finished my facial with Sheri at Vee Cosmetics in Mountain View. I have been going there nearly 10 years. Every month my skin glows and my eye brows come out perfect. This place is the best for the price and for 90 minutes you feel so pampered. My favorite part of many is the warm mist followed by the suction. It leaves my skin feeling so clean and exfoliated. I've been with them for almost 4 years and are planning to buy another big package for monthly facial since my current one is running out. With a combination sensitive skin, I am pretty careful in choosing my skin care product. But still, after a while, my face would either have some clogged pores or breakouts. I wouldn't be too much worrying about it though, since that's also normally the time for my facial. Most of the time I'm with Sheri, who seems know my skin much better than me. I've been going to Sheri for a couple of months so far and my experience has been phenomenal. My skin has gotten much smoother since the first time I've gone and she really spends the time and effort to explain proper skin care techniques to her clients. All 90 minutes are spent on my facial/massage/eyebrows. Sheri even does extraction of my pores incredibly well. I can tell the difference in my skin immediately after the facial. My mom has been going to Sheri for eight years and every time I go, Sheri comments on how much my mom's skin has improved through facials and daily skin care maintenance advised by Sheri.
