Just discovered this gem.. I can't even describe how amazing the food is here.. And I'm not even talking about the Italian. They have the hands down best Mediterranean food in the area. I got a dinner called the Meat Al Almore, and it was to die for. It was marinated chicken, steak, hummus, rice and a salad... All for $12.99! My wife got the falafel dinner which she said was just as delicious. If you're ever in the mood for some hummus, falafel, shawarma or other Mediterranean food, definitely come here! Very small sub. Went on a Friday and the only reason i went here was because the line at Anthony's was almost out the door. Ordered a large cheese steak. What i got was anything but that. There wasn't even enough meat in it to make a small. The sub was on a paper plate and then wrapped in foil and then in paper. Since it didn't have any meat in it, wrapping it in the foil so tight the top of the roll rolled in on itself. Save your money and don't bother. $10 for a large and a drink is pathetic for that. Since moving to Stoneham, Amore is mine (and my roommates') delivery place of choice. Between the three of us, we must order from here three times or more per week. Everything we have ordered has been so tasty! Seriously haven't had a thing that we didn't like. Delivery is always extremely fast- typically within twenty mins (or less!). I'm always impressed by both the food and the service. My go-to is the buffalo chicken wrap made with the pita bread and a side of coated fries. The "small" sized wrap is the perfect amount of food without making me so full that I need to take a nap. The buffalo sauce and the bleu cheese are both great but the pita bread is what really makes it my favorite thing to get. Off the top of my head, I also enjoy the chicken tenders, mozzarella sticks, garlic bread, and calzones. Prices are very reasonable, especially for the quality! I was prompted to write this review tonight for a reason. I ordered my food as usual and it was delivered by the owner, Joseph. It was my first interaction with him (as far as I know) and he was so super nice! Seemed like a genuinely good guy. I ordered a Greek salad (no chicken) and a buffalo chicken pizza for delivery. It took about an hour to get to me but when I called in to check on the status they let me know they don't typically deliver to Burlington but would for me. I'm so glad they did because this meal was everything I wanted! It didn't look like there was more than a sprinkling of fine feta on the salad but it was flavorful and creamy. The small pizza was cut in 6 slices and wasn't thin like I expected but was still delicious. It was really loaded down with flave and chicken so expect to need to two hand even the smaller slices. Love the mix of pizza and buffalo sauces. Big fan--wish they would deliver to me again! ps: Joe, if you read this--reading how you treat your customers both on Yelp and in person is what sold me on Amore. Even the girl who answered my call, after telling me they would deliver to Burlington this one time, said "I hope you enjoy your food!" Great customer service. This place is fantastic. Tucked on the side of a main road, you'd expect it to be like any ordinary pizza place. It is absolutely NOT. Chicken Cesar "wrap" on pita is fantastic. Best I've ever had, and as a matter of fact, before coming to Amore, I had no idea that was something you could even do. We've also had tuna on pita, that was great too. All around a great place. The Amore pizza with pepperoni, bacon, sausage and jalapeño is a great combo (though I usually get it without the jalapeños, unless my sinuses need to be cleared - they are hot!) the only issue we've had is tonight's delivery - either the driver was taking corners at 65 or he fit more in the car by standing the boxes on their sides - but both pizzas were smooshed in on one side of the box, cheese and toppings stuck to the top of the boxes. read more

I called the restaurant expecting that they would make some accommodation, but the man on the phone was only concerned about whether we had eaten the food. This is my go-to pizza place in Stoneham. I always get the Gardenia - how can you not win with breaded eggplant on your pizza?? Very friendly staff, they even remember you when you walk through the door for a pickup order. Once we accidentally ordered the wrong pizza, but didn't realize our mistake until we got it home. After getting a flyer in the mail that looked super appetizing and signing up on their website to receive a 20% discount off my first online order, I decided to give Amore a shot. The staff is very very friendly and it was convenient to be able to either call or order online and get pick up or delivery. The pizza ingredients are very fresh and the crust was nice and soft. One of the better takeout places in the area. Salads and pizzas are always fresh and delicious. Service has always been great too for both take out and delivery. Prices are competitive to the area but the food is so much better than other similar take out places in this price range. I will say as big as their pizzas are (the titanic is HUGE and a great value), their large subs are on the smaller side but still very good. They also offer great loyalty programs and delivery tracking which you don't find at many non-chain pizza places. It was hard to find our go-to takeout/delivery place but this place checks off all the boxes for us. What can i say about this place? The food is great, the service is even better. Joe and his sons know me and my family by name. They are always so friendly. It's my kids favorite spot in Stoneham. I think my family and I have tried almost everything on the menu and have no complaints. I've asked Joe what some items on the menu are and rather than tell me, he shows me and at times has provided me with a sample. How many shops you know do that? My sister and I went to Amore Pizza last weekend, on recommendation from a friend in the area. I had the chicken kabob dinner, my sister had the falafel, and we split a chocolate pizza. Yes. that's right, you heard me. Chocolate Pizza. The chicken was nice and fresh, and a ton of it! Not greasy and heavy. The steak fries were the best I have had in a long time. My sister enjoyed her falafel greatly. You could tell the hummus was fresh, home made, and Soooo good. and the Chocolate pizza. WOW. YUM YUM YUM.
