I've been going to Dr. Doshi for dental work for past 9 years and I'm extremely happy and satisfied with his work. First of all, he is extremely knowledgeable about what he does and he gives correct, precise and unbiased advice in regards to treatment and hygiene. If he can't do the treatment himself or isn't sure about something, he refers you to the right person to get it done or get more analysis on it before starting the treatment. He gives you detailed explanation of the root cause and treatment and answers any questions you have patiently with detailed answers and explanations. I've done implant, minor tongue surgery and other dental work with him and go to him regularly for cleaning and dental check up. I did my implant with him 7 years ago and haven't had any issue with the implant till now. He even follows up with me after my surgery and implant and other small surgeries to check how am I feeling and recovering. I trust him with all my dental and oral needs and he is the one I go to get the right advice and consultation. Me and my family has been going to Amore Dentistry for almost 3 yrs or even longer. Office is always clean, staffs are always nice. They even remembered our names! Dr Doshi is very nice and most importantly very experienced. One time my husband felt something wrong with his teeth and went there. And turned out it was just a small problem. I really dislike going to the dentist, my teeth are extremely sensitive and literally every single thing makes me jump out of the chair. My wife and I have been patients of Dr. Doshi for about 5 years - always have a great experience visiting Amore to either have a checkup or dental procedures. Dr. Doshi is very professional. In the past, I aften had to visit the dentist 2 or 3 times to get the bite correct on a new crown or filling, but not so with Dr. Doshi - it is usually a great fit on the first visit! The office staff is very efficient and cordial, and they always make you feel welcome. We actually moved away from Irvine 3 years ago, but still make the 30 minute drive to stay with Dr. Doshi. I would caution against going to this Dentistry. While I don't often write a one-star review, I think I owe it to my fellow Yelpers to alert them of my negative experience. I live close to Amore Dentistry and shop in the same plaza where it was located and decided to call to make an appointment. While making my appointment I asked if they accepted my dental insurance, they said they accept all insurances, but that she would check for me. I was called a week later to confirm my appointment and I again asked if she confirmed my insurance was accepted and was told "yes". The day of my appointment I had x-rays completed and the dentist recommended a deep cleaning. Being aware of dentist who like to recommend optional services as an upsell, I told the Dentist "I only want a deep cleaning if it is covered by my insurance, otherwise I want the free cleaning". The dentist instructed the receptionist to go check and I was told only the basic cleaning is covered and FREE. Based on that they were instructed to only do the basic cleaning. 2 weeks later I receive a bill to pay almost $80. After numerous phone calls and efforts to contact the dentist (most calls were never returned) and after phone calls to my insurance company and having them call the dentist on a conferance call, I was told that the Dentist only partially accepts my insurance at the level of 80%. While I asked numerous times if they took my insurance and that all services were included, they purposely failed to mention that they only accept 80% and that I would have to pay 20% out of pocket! My insurance told me that certain dentistries pull these type of games to get customers in and then foot them the bill afterwards. I had no choice but to pay, but I will not return and I hope my fellow Yelpers heed my warning before going to Amore Dentistry. read more

As a biochemist, former NASA scientist (LBJ Space Center - Houston) and founder of Nutraneering.com, I demand the best that money can buy when it comes to dentistry for my family. Doctor Doshi installed an implant and crown for my daughter who lost a tooth due to bone loss. Dr. Doshi restored the bone and, when the area was ready, installed the implant. It could not have gone better. That was over 2 years ago now and there have been no issues. Now, my 16 year old daughter is ready to have her braces off, but has two lower teeth for which no grown up teeth are coming. This has left her with one missing tooth (baby tooth fell out) and one other baby tooth that needs to come out. She will need two implants and we would not think of going anywhere but Amore Dentistry and having Dr. Doshi do the work when she is old enough. Amore Dentistry is a wonderful secret spot that brings back the meaning of a neighborhood dentist. I broke a piece of my upper left molar Saturday morning, what felt like a big chuck of tooth and stressed about it all weekend long. In my mind, I'm thinking it will be next week at the earliest that I can be seen and how inconvenient all of this is, mentally training myself on how I would eat to not create further damage to the remaining tooth. It wasn't painful, but concerning and annoying. I called Amore Dentistry on Monday, at 9 AM expecting to be scheduled to see Dr. Doshi sometime next week or the following week. To my surprise, there was an opening at 10:30 AM, which I jumped on. Not knowing the process or how long it would take to resolve this, I was even more surprised when x-rays were taken, Dr. Doshi reviewed the x-ray with me and stated that he can create a mold of the broke tooth, place a temporary filler and to come back at 4:30 PM to get the new inlay placed. I did just that and Im back to being myself. You cant get this kind of service anywhere. I felt special and my trust was elevated. These guys are good and that is why I don't have a problem writing a positive review for Amore Dentistry. read more

I have had 3 years of experience with this dental group. Dr. Doshi is very nice, upfront about the charges and if you ask them to break down all of the services and charges prior to your appointment they will do so. They will not do any service without your approval as well as the approval of the charges you may have to pay out of pocket. The dentists always show you where the problems are and I believe their recommendations are always valid. I never get pressure to do certain services that are recommended and not necessary. The facilities are clean and the staff are pleasant and easy to work with. I definitely recommend this dental group! read more
