I am so lucky to have found Dr. Tsang and his amazing team at Irvine Modern Dentistry. After switching over to my work's insurance (Cigna PPO), I was in search of a dentist that I could commit to long-term. I've always had a lot of anxiety when it comes to visiting the dentist especially since i'm prone to having dental issues and have definitely had my fair share of negative experiences. However, the team at Irvine Modern Dentistry is one of the first to not make me dread dental check-ups and cleanings. Everyone is so friendly, knowledgeable, and takes my concerns into consideration. My hygienist, Ken, is gentle yet precise when it comes to my cleanings and always checks on me to make sure I'm doing okay. I also appreciate hearing about the latest technologies that the clinic is implementing. It is clear that they deeply care about the dental health of their patients and they make a point to recommend treatments that are best suited for me, rather than pressure me into buying services/products that are considerably out of my budget. I came in for a cavity filling on the right side of my mouth but left with a small hole on the left side that wasn't there before. On top of that, the cavity itself wasn't properly filled, and my sensitivity and pain have only gotten worse since the visit. This was my first time at the clinic. I went in for X-rays and a consultation for the filling. As I was checking out, the receptionist pushed me to get a full mouth X-ray just because my insurance would cover it, which wasn't anything I needed. It felt like they were only trying to bill my insurance. The numbing shot was painful and the procedure was rough. I left with scratches and pain in my gums despite only having one cavity filled. The filling came out to $180 with my insurance, which isn't bad, but I'll need to go to another office to have the whole procedure reevaluated and likely redone. read more

My experience with irvine modern dentistry has been so wholesome! Dentist and Fun never belonged in the same sentence until I discovered this place. For the first time I do not dread but look forward to getting my teeth cleaned and catching up with my hygienist (who has taught me a lot about how to clean my teeth!). Everyone who works there is genuinely kind and friendly and super knowledgeable. They ensure you are always comfortable and offer amazing complimentary spa services while getting your teeth cleaned. I've never had to wait either and am seen almost immediately once checked in--big plus that they respect your appointment time!!! It's been a while since I've updated this review and it's about time! I love going to the dentist here. Not only is it clean and high-tech, I just genuinely enjoy interacting with everyone here. You can really tell that they care about your health and not just your dental health. During one visit it was noted that my blood pressure was unusually high, and they encouraged me to go see my doctor. I'm really glad I did because it was a problem I had no idea I had, and now I'm on the right track to lower it! I didn't pay attention to it at all but it was great to distract my daughter while my teeth are being cleaned. My daughter was very reserved when it was her turn but relaxed once the cleaning procedure started. The hygienist was very kid-friendly with her. From the very beginning of booking my appointment which was easily done through their website, their communication was prompt, clear and easy.
