Dr. Lee is truly an amazing dentist. I was feeling discomfort in a tooth and emailed him on a Saturday to request an appointment for the coming week -- he responded quickly and scheduled me to come in that very Monday. He was able to perform a root canal in one visit -- typically something that would require multiple visits! I was about to leave town for a week so being able to do it all at once was a huge lifesaver. It was a difficult procedure, as the tooth was in an awkward position that was hard to reach, but Dr. Lee still took the time to explain everything he was doing and checked often to make sure I was comfortable. I was so impressed by his diligent and meticulous work. He was also very patient and kind when I needed a few breaks. It was painless and I felt no discomfort or soreness afterwards. I'm very grateful to Dr. Lee for seeing and treating me with such care on such a short notice. Getting that tooth taken care of was a huge relief. I came to Dr. Lee's office for teeth cleaning and to get my wisdom teeth, checked up on because I needed to find a new dentist. I had an old crown that felt off, and I was worried about it as I have upcoming travel + major dental anxiety. Dr.Lee is the best of the best! My teeth needed serious work after not receiving proper dental care for over a decade. A few years ago, I had a root canal done at another dentist's office and had the worst nerve pain imaginable. Once that was resolved, I swore off dentists. However, I could no longer ignore the state of my teeth, so my husband located someone who had fantastic reviews and was known for being gentle. This dentist was Dr.Lee During my first appointment, I was ashamed of my teeth and worried about judgment. Dr.Lee exhibited absolutely none of those behaviors. Instead, he worked on a plan to get me on the right track. To start, I needed a dental implant where my previous root canal was from years prior. I was too scared to complete the procedure, and the tooth decayed. Dr.Lee and Dr.Leif both handled my implant, and it went amazingly! I felt such a sigh of relief to be in such great hands. A few months after that, I had a fall and knocked out one of my front teeth and cracked the other front tooth down the middle. Dr.Lee offered to see me the same day of the fall to start my implant journey or the next morning at 7 am. Dr.Lee and Dr.Leif took care of my two frontal implants, and that surgery again went without a hitch. I was beyond grateful to be seen so quickly, as not having front teeth is quite awkward. I had a persistent toothache that started about a week ago and tried to find a dentist for emergency dental care during holiday season was NOT easy. My regular dentist was not available until after New Year and I could not wait that long since I was in pain. I researched Yelp and Google reviews and found Dr. Lee's office near our house. I contacted Dr. Lee via Yelp on Sunday afternoon because I was in pain and he responded within a couple of hours stating that he would be available the next day. THAT WAS SUCH AN AWESOME NEWS to my ears and my tooth. I went in to see Dr. Lee first thing today and he diagnosed my pain as originating from an inflamed tooth pulp. Dr. Lee was very transparent about his pricing and recommended the treatments that I needed. He was also able to do all these treatments in one visit to make sure I had the best care and that my toothache gone. I could see that he genuinely cares about his craft and his patients. I could not recommend Dr. Lee enough as I was a new patient but he knew I was in serious pain, and he came to the office just to help me out during this holiday season. Mr. Lee, you can attempt to gaslight me all you want, you are still updating your replies multiple times a day despite no interaction from me. It is also wild that you somehow think I am leaving a negative review because you "refused" to see me, and feel the need to write a book about why you think this is true. Let me make it clear - you can twist whatever details you want, but I was not interested in your services after your rude text message, hence my cancellation, and I wanted to make it publicly known the way you talk to patients. Full stop. Move on. Every time you update you review, you are just proving to everyone else that you are unapologetically defensive and unprofessional, with no accountability or self-awareness. This man is a maniac and, so please visit at your own risk. This review is long overdue, but I have had such an unbelievably horrible experience that I can never forget. I visited him back in May 2022 for a general check-up. After the check-up he said that I have a serious cavity and would need a root canal and crown. Quoted me thousands of dollars for this service. I trusted his professional opinion and got the appointment scheduled. I came for a check-up, as I needed clearance to start my Invisalign treatment, so was also in talks with my orthodontist. She mentioned that I should get the root canal done before Invisalign, but that the crown could be placed after Invisalign treatment. This made sense to me, as I got a root canal done more than 10 years ago without a crown, and I still have never had any issues. Hearing that, I innocently asked Dr. Peter about this, as I wanted to hear his professional opinion. I had no intention of cancelling the appointment, just asking a simple question and clarifying. There was nothing professional at all about his response and he started to angrily blow up my phone. Please see attached screenshots... they speak for themselves. He sent me 20+ messages within a 3 hr timespan... His tone was very angry and the whole interaction made me genuinely scared. TLDR- He threatens that my tooth will fall out, tells me that I can't afford treatment, and tries to charge me a bogus $150 cancellation fee after cancelling my appointment himself. He also continues to pester me through email after I told him I wanted to end our communications. I can't believe he would even think that I would be comfortable coming back into his office for treatment after the way he reacted to me. The worst part of this whole experience- I had no cavity in that tooth whatsoever. Visited my new dentist (whom I love and came highly recommended) and brought in my X-Rays from Dr. Peter that "showed" the severe cavity. We X-Rayed again as well as a thorough manual check-up on that tooth and did not find anything. My new dentist mentioned it may have just been a shadow/ issue on the X-Ray imaging. It has been 2 years since and I have had no issues whatsoever on that tooth. Maybe Dr. Peter's attitude was a blessing in disguise after all... Imagine he decided to extract or drill through a perfectly healthy tooth. Dr. Peter's attitude was completely despicable and I can't even believe a medical professional could act this way. He is 100% in it just for the money, and you can clearly tell this in the texts where his focus is consistently the $$. Take a look at the other one star reviews on here and you can see that this behavior is not out of character for him. Even the way he responds these reviews is very unprofessional. With my experience in mind... it is also a little suspicious the number of reviews that mention they had a crown completed here (52/164). Don't want to assume anything, but it is interesting to see, as no other dentist on Yelp has a ratio that high. Most dentists have around 5% of reviews mentioning crowns, while Dr. Peter has around 30%. During my appointment he was very adamant about the crown and especially about choosing the highest price "high tech" option. I wonder what would have happened if I went in for my root canal appointment? Would he have still done the procedure and charged me for a crown? I wonder if he has done this to anybody else that led to this abnormally high rate of crown procedures? Not fact, just thoughts... read more

I had a dental emergency with a chipped molar and swollen gums. The dentist I had been seeing was so busy I couldn't get an appointment for weeks! Thankfully, I found Dr. Lee. It turned out, my dentist had missed a cavity next to the tooth with the chipped molar, which, based on the x-rays, looked like it would need a root canal, in additional to the chipped molar and swollen gums. Photos showed I had somehow sliced my gums likely while flossing, which led to the swelling. Swelling aside, I'm not sure how my dentist that I was going to see every 6 months for cleanings, missed a cavity when it was visible to the eye! Thankfully, after removing the decay, the filling took care of the problem and I didn't need a root canal. During the treatment, Dr. Lee took photos and showed me what he was doing every step of the way. Needless to say, I now have a new dentist and appreciate the transparency in billing (he even returned some money back to me because my insurance covered more than anticipated), level of care (with the latest in technology, you don't need to take his word for it, he'll show you all the evidence), honesty and patience. His office is super clean and he treats you like family. I also appreciated the time he took on my teeth. I didn't feel rushed one bit! He was meticulous and thorough.He doesn't schedule patients back to back -- it's a level of care I haven't experienced ever!
