Irvine Endodontics - Root Canal. Before and after- microscopic excellence! NO PAIN! - Endodontists Near Me - Irvine, California

Based on the reviews, I was expecting and looking forward to a 5-star experience. Unfortunately, that was not my experience, and I felt I was given 1-star treatment. The female dental assistant was not welcoming or friendly. When I mentioned that I wanted to skip the CBCT scan due to financial reasons, as the cost can be hundreds of dollars depending on insurance, she continued to push the scan 4-5 times despite my clearly stating that I did not want it. I found this extremely uncomfortable and felt that my decision was not being respected. When it came time for the X-rays, the lead apron was tossed onto me rather than being placed on me with care. I have pectus excavatum, which made this particularly uncomfortable and, in my opinion, was not handled professionally. My experience with Dr. Omid Dianat was also concerning. I was placed in a Trendelenburg position, with my head lower than my feet. I have cystic fibrosis and related sinus issues, which make me particularly prone to dizziness and migraine spikes. I had disclosed my medical history and symptoms in the forms I completed prior to the appointment. Being placed in that position exacerbated my symptoms and left me feeling extremely ill afterward. I understand that certain procedures and positioning may be necessary, but I believe my medical history should have been reviewed and taken into consideration before positioning me this way. At the very least, I would have appreciated being informed beforehand so we could discuss whether there was a more appropriate position for me. Additionally, when the electric pulp tester (EPT) was used on an already extremely sensitive tooth, I would have appreciated even a brief warning that the test could cause significant pain. A simple 10-second explanation would have made the experience much less distressing. Overall, I left feeling genuinely disappointed because I had high expectations after reading so many positive reviews. I was hoping to feel heard, respected, and cared for throughout my appointment, particularly after taking the time to provide detailed information about my medical history and concerns beforehand. Instead, I left feeling that my decisions, comfort, and individual needs were not given the level of consideration I expected. I'm sharing this feedback because I believe these concerns could have been addressed with better communication, more attentiveness, and a little more compassion. I hope the office takes this experience seriously and considers how these interactions can be improved so future patients feel more comfortable, respected, and cared for. read more

I got referred to Irvine Endodontics through my Dentist. Kim was friendly and efficient when booking my consultation and did the work of calling my dentist to get all my insurance information. Behgum was patient and accommodating during my consultation as I struggle with X-rays. Dr Dianat thoroughly explained my options and even called my dentist to discuss my treatment. I was a bit undecided on my treatment option but his entire staff was patient and supportive - even drawing up two treatment plans and explaining the cost differences to me (thanks Kim and Lailia). I ended getting a root canal (my first one) and the process from start to finish was painless and the best experience one could hope for. Behgum assisted during my root canal and made me feel at ease right from the preparation stages. She is kind and provides intentional care throughout the process, checking in to make sure I was ok and explaining where we were in the process. She helped me through at least six X-rays and it was a breeze! Everyone showed kindness, support and the highest level of care. Dr. Dianat performed his work quickly and I felt no pain during the procedure. They are truly professionals at what they do and I would recommend this office to anyone who needs a root canal. read more

I was referred to Dr. Omid Dianat by my general dentist, and I've now had two root canals with him. Both experiences were excellent. Dr. Dianat is incredibly skilled, patient, and detail oriented, and he made the entire process much easier and more comfortable than I expected. His staff is also wonderful. Everyone in the office is friendly, professional, and welcoming. I'm very grateful for the referral and highly recommend Dr. Dianat and his amazing team. read more

My first ever root canal was a resounding success thanks to Dr. Hubbi, dental assistant Behgum and the whole team at Irvine Endodontics. I had indicated that I struggled with anxiety - unrelated to dentistry but still a factor. I felt taken care of every step of the way. By the end of the procedure (complete with a thorough rinsing of my mouth), I indicated that I felt like an F1 race car. Great team and great work. Thanks so much! read more

My 13 year son had a fall and knocked out his adult front tooth completely out. We went to the ER where they placed it back in and splinted it. At the advice of my regular dentist we needed to get a root canal. We went to one consult which did not go well. The Endodontist informed me in order for my son to have a root canal he needed sedation. I did not agree as he is really calm and compliant. He does have epilepsy and cognitive delay but I felt he would do ok as long as he was numbed correctly and he felt comfortable. I honestly got the impression he just did not want to do it. So I spent the next week trying to find another option. I decided to go with Dr. Dianat based on my conversation with his staff and patient reviews. Dr. Dianat was absolutely amazing with my special needs child during a root canal procedure. From the moment we arrived, he showed incredible patience, kindness, and understanding, which immediately helped put both my child and me at ease. He took the time to explain everything clearly, worked gently, and made sure my child felt comfortable throughout the entire visit. I am beyond grateful we found Dr. Dianat and he exceeded all my expectations. The procedure went smoothly, and the care and professionalism we received were outstanding. Kim from his office called me today (next day after procedure) to check on him. I'm so grateful for the positive experience and would highly recommend Dr. Dianat to any parent looking for an exceptional endodontist. read more

any type of dental procedures have always made me nervous. they're never the most pleasant experience, and i was especially nervous this time as i'd never gotten a root canal before. i was recommended to visit this office by my supervisor, and i'm so thankful i did. first, scheduling was a breeze. even with a small hiccup in appt mix ups, the receptionist kim was the sweetest person ever, both on the phone and when i arrived for my appointment. the office itself is very modernly decorated, and it's clear they are very up to date about different technologies that help them in their procedures and care for patients. before my treatment, the team took care to break down each part of the treatment process and allowed me to see the number breakdown to ensure full understanding. i love that they offer financing through cherry, as it made it a lot easier to go into the treatment knowing there wouldn't be a hole in my tooth and my wallet by the end of it. every step of the way, dr. dianat and his assistant behgum made sure to keep me in the loop of what they were doing, how the procedure was going. they offered me a blanket and sunglasses to keep me comfortable from the office temperature and bright lights, and they welcomed me to put in headphones to block out the sounds. if it wasn't for the vibrations and drilling, i could've almost fallen asleep. dr. dianat took great care in making sure i was fully numb for the procedure and he and his assistant behgum would consistently check in with me to make sure i was doing good, still comfortable, and to let me know things were going well. at the end of the treatment, i received a comprehensive explanation of what was done and detailed instructions of how to proceed with post-op care. it was the best experience i could have had for a first time root-canal, and i would highly recommend this office to anyone who needs their type of services! read more

I can't recommend Irvine Endodontics enough! I first came here for an emergency treatment, and they were absolutely amazing. After such a great experience, I didn't hesitate to come back when I needed a root canal on another tooth. Dr. Dianat is truly exceptional. Since the tooth already had a crown, they had to perform the root canal through the existing crown, and they were able to save both my crown and my tooth. What surprised me the most was that I had absolutely zero pain during the procedure and zero pain afterward. It honestly felt like I had never even had a root canal. I know everyone's experience is different, but I was amazed by how smooth and comfortable everything was. I also want to recognize Fatemeh for being so kind, reassuring, and professional throughout my procedure. She helped me feel completely at ease from start to finish. Behgum at the front desk is equally wonderful and she's friendly, welcoming, and makes the entire process so easy. Everyone at Irvine Endodontics goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable, safe, and genuinely cared for. Their entire team is compassionate, skilled, and professional, and it's clear they truly care about their patients. I'm so grateful for the outstanding care I've received over the years, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone who needs endodontic treatment. Thank you all for another wonderful experience! read more

I had a root canal done here and honestly had a great experience. Behgum was super nice, patient, and very accommodating from the moment I arrived. I was extremely nervous going in, but the process they put in place for me made a huge difference. During the procedure I felt no pain -- only pressure, which they explained ahead of time. The injections were quick and after that everything was fully numb and comfortable. The team was professional, reassuring, and clearly very experienced. If you're someone who gets anxious about dental work, this is a place that really takes care of you. Highly recommend. read more

You're looking at a picture of a TV, which sounds like a weird way to start a dental review... but hang in there. That TV was the first thing I noticed when I walked into Irvine Endodontics. Calm ocean scenes, soft colors... like a meditation app came to life. And that vibe? It stayed with me through the entire root canal. Yep. ROOT CANAL. And I actually felt peaceful. Dr. Omid Dianat and his incredible assistant, Behgum, were pure pros. Fast, gentle, explained everything, and kept checking in. Total dream team. In and out in 90 mins. This place is like a spa disguised as a dental office. If a root canal is a storm, they're the umbrella that doesn't flip inside out. I never write medical reviews. But this? This was worth it. If you're ever in pain and scared, this is where you'll feel safe. Five stars isn't enough. read more

I can't say much that hasn't already been said about Dr. Dianat and team, but if you had any doubts, I will attest that Dr. Dianat is a top notch Endodontist and that you will receive the absolute best care at his facility. I had been dealing with tooth aches, and tooth sensitivity, for many months. My dentist hadn't been able to diagnose any issues but with a CT Scan, and specialized tests, Dr. Dianat was quickly able to diagnose the root cause (no pun intended) and clearly communicate the necessary treatment. He also listened to and answered all of my questions. The day of the treatment, his assistant Behgum went above and beyond to ensure that I was comfortable and also communicated with me about every step of the procedure so that I knew what was going to happen. She's an excellent assistant and contributed highly towards my positive experience during the procedure. To keep things short, Dr. Dianat executed the root canal with pinpoint precision, the procedure was painless, and my tooth ache is finally gone. I had such minimal pain after the root canal that I didn't even need a single Advil, and I'm feeling better than before just a couple days later. Thank you Dr. Dianat and Behgum, I will make sure to refer you to anyone in a similar situation. read more

Everyone is so kind and helpful, had a root canal done and it was painless, easiest dental procedure I've ever had!

This is by far the best endodontist in all of Orange County. Dr. Dianat is kind, compassionate and incredibly knowledgeable. He will not do a root canal if you do not need it. He just simply wants the best possible care for you. His staff is the best I have ever seen in any dentist office. If you need a consultation for a possible root canal, you will not find a better doctor. They are honest and upfront about charges and what the insurance will cover. You see all those positive reviews in Yelp and Google, they're all true. read more

Had the unfortunate event of meeting Dr. Dianat for treatment in early February. Because of major teeth movement during my Invisalign journey, one of my inlays cracked, which I didn't realize it had and was living with a cracked inlay for a couple of months. The end result was needing a root canal to make the pain go away. I found Irvine Endodontics on Yelp, and decided to make an appointment based on the good reviews. Making an appointment was fast and easy, and a couple of days later, I was walking in for my appointment. The receptionist was very nice and informative on cost. I met Dr. Dianat and after looking at my x-rays,he quickly confirmed that I needed the root canal done. I scheduled the procedure for the following week. The procedure itself was a bit long (just under 3 hours, mainly because I had some bleeding that didn't want to stop), but painless overall. The front desk gave me 600mg of ibuprofen before leaving the office. I did experience moderate pain the next day, but now that it's been 3 weeks since the procedure, I have zero pain. If you find yourself needing a root canal, I highly recommend Irvine Endodontics. read more

I can't say enough about Dr. Dianat and his team. After months of pain following an onlay, and a dentist who only offered a night guard and bite adjustments after multiple visits...I finally found real help at Irvine Endodontics. From the initial consultation, Dr. Dianat was completely upfront and never pushy, walking me through everything honestly before recommending a root canal. He's a true professional and a dedicated student of his craft, and the procedure itself was far more comfortable than I expected and they were very caring. He also fully restored my tooth where my previous dentist had left it nearly bare. Pain-free now. Highly recommend -- thank you all!! read more

I feel beyond grateful to have found the doctors and staff at Irvine Endodontics! From the moment I called to make the initial consultation to each interaction afterwards, I felt heard, put at ease, and exceptionally well cared for. Thank you, everyone should have a trusted endodontist on speed dial like I do. And I had some complex issues for Dr. Omid Dianat to tackle and he did so by first explaining things clearly so I understood his approach, and then he executed that plan with such expertise and calm confidence that I too was calm and confident. The results were excellent, and I couldn't be more pleased! My smart ring even reported that I went into a restorative state during the lengthy root canal and root end surgery and that was with normal local anesthesia. But I'm not surprised I was in a restorative state because that's how good Dr. Omid and his team are and because they give the extra touches from providing headphones with music to essential oils, and the gentle tapping during the numbing injections, it's all part of the calm aura they help create. Everyone I come into contact with from the doctors to the front office, to back office, and dental assistants, they were all so kind, calm, and expert in their fields. It's all so reassuring. I must give a special shoutout to Marcela who went above and beyond to ensure that everything went smoothly on the billing side!! I highly recommend Irvine Endodontics to everyone, and in fact, I've already sent my family here and they've been equally pleased with their experience! Thank you again! read more

Irvine Endodontics - Reached Restored state during root canal and surgery - Endodontists Near Me - Irvine, California

Looks like I will be able to keep my molar still thanks to Dr. Omid and the redoing my failing root canal from 15 years ago!! I still have up to 6months of healing before we check in to see the success of my procedure. Keep reading for my experience: I moved to Irvine and really had to look for an Endodontist I could trust. I selected this office due to reviews and paying attention to what was said. Great care, painless, and good explanation of what condition and treatment is needed and I might add in a gentle way. You will need to decide on what X-rays and scans you feel is appropriate for your needs. I didn't have a lot of money and opted to just scan the one tooth. Even with insurance these procedures do cost money- but I want my teeth. I had to choose between surgery or redoing the root canal. I opted for redoing the root canal over surgery because I had moderate infection symptoms and didn't want to wait- for surgery I didn't have insurance figured out yet and I was told it could take 2-3weeks especially cause of Thanksgiving holiday... and let me tell you this root canal was because my tooth had a bad infection 15yrs ago and my face swelled up. I wanted to avoid that again But! It's good I did the root canal treatment because he was able to thouroughly treat. Once Dr. drilled in he could see a clearer picture that my old root canal was no longer sufficient even though on scans it looks great! That's why it's important to do these procedures and investigate. I may not need surgery if my healing goes well so let's see I'm very happy went to work same day had no pain during treatment office was great and welcoming. :) read more

I was expecting to feel soreness after the numbness wore off but surprisingly I felt no pain later that day or days after. Wife went here and all I heard was how poorly she was treated. Got a referral to come here and when we decided that the price was too high just got a snobby comment from their receptionist. I've seen Dr. Dianat a few times for different teeth issues. One of the many reasons I appreciate him is that if he doesn't think I need a root canal or other treatments, he won't recommend any and will just have me on a "wait and see." I finally did need a root canal today, and I must say that under Dr. Dianat's care, I had a positive experience. The procedure itself was surprisingly painless, and I appreciated his Gentlewave procedure that disinfected my roots. Dr. Dianat was thorough explaining why I needed a root canal, had a pleasant and calm demeanor, and was gentle and efficient. Hafsa, his assistant, was caring, accommodating, and patient.
