Chicken Biryani
Ishali T.

Did not enjoy the chicken biryani from this place. The taste was very off putting and nowhere close to a biryani. I have ordered biryani from any and all restaurants that would deliver to me in Seattle downtown area, and this has to be one of the worst ones.

Oreo Falooda
Riddhi M.

We got the faloodas from Ammi's Pakwan. The pick up while maintaining social distancing was well done. We got the Oreo and rasmalai falooda. While we were so glad to actually fine falooda in Seattle the taste of the faloodas was not great (personal preference) it was somehow a little sour which was not great.

This is what they gave me
Rajani L.

I went in there to try falooda for the first time and their picture looked so enticing so I thought why not. The place was dark and the server was unenthusiastic. My partner decided we should have a bite to eat before so we orders stuffed paneer naan and stuffed potato naan, they were thick, doughy , and not cooked properly. Like someone was not even interested in doing their job. Then the worst blow for me was that the sever brought out a weird looking thing that was suppose to be falooda. Look for yourself what they gave me and the picture on their yelp page and on their wall , it did not match . A pathetic experience.

Channa masala or Chilli Masala ?

My dear Ammis Pakwan, when I say extra spicy it doesn't mean to add a hell lot of chillis !!! Is this Channa masala or Chilli Masala ? Do u have any idea how this tastes before selling it ?

"Spicy rice with chicken tikka" instead of chicken biryani.

Dal makhani was bitter. The food had little flavor and lots of oil. Did not enjoy the experience.

Ordered mutton curry. It is just mutton in oil. There is no curry at all. Such a waste of my money. Will never order anything else from here

First, I'd like to start by saying, there was nothing wrong with my time or food here at K-street…read moreK-BBQ. We ordered the brisket and kings ribs. I can say the meat looked like high quality and tasted great! The only reason I'm giving it a 4/5 is because I personally wasn't a huge fan of the banchan (side dishes) that were offered. There was salad, that had like the full bottom parts of lettuce in it, there was onions in some kind of sauce, kimchi, just not a lot of things I personally like to eat. I would say their banchan definitely leans more towards Asian clientel, so if you go with someone who is a picky eater or not super familiar with asian/korean food, then just be aware of that I'd say. Overall though, I would say come here for the high quality meat! The service was good, but personally, I just won't be returning. I feel like there are other K-BBQ places that meet my taste buds more than this place.

Easily one of our favorite K-BBQ spots on the Eastside. My husband and I liked combo options and…read morethe portions. Their menu may not have an all-you-can-eat option, however the serving portions and variety are more than enough. This KBBQ is located in the Redmond Town Center. Their dining space is spacious and perfect for large parties. Their menu features 3 types of combos. We were advised the small size comfortably serves 2 while the large is serves 4. We opted for the small mix combo which had the prime ribeye, beef brisket, king prime short ribs, la seasoned ribs, beef tail flap, pork belly, pork jowl, pork shoulder, and seasoned boneless short ribs. We also ordered a bottle of soju to share. The meats were beautifully presented. They also served an array of banchans including onion salad and lettuce. Service was amazing. Our server always checked in and offered to change our grill pan. Pricing was on par for the meat quality and amount that came with our order. We even ended up with a couple to-go boxes. Overall, I recommend this spot and will be returning to try out the other

Grillbird serves excellent Seattle-style teriyaki. The meat was tender, juicy, and full of flavor,…read morewith a great balance of sweetness and savory seasoning. I also appreciate how unpretentious this place is. No frills, no fuss, just delicious teriyaki done right. If you're in West Seattle and craving a good teriyaki meal, this is the spot. This place allows online ordering via InKind so I used some of the credits to order some food to-go. It takes about 10 minutes, fairly standard. I got the make your own which is the preferred choice as the make your own is the same price as the other single choice plates, with the exception of salmon. So I got the Bang Bang chicken and teriyaki chicken half and half, with sesame noodles and gyoza ($1.50 extra) for the sides, which is good value as sesame noodles side was $9 versus other sides at $3-5 range. Portions are large. But you are eating a lot of salt. Sesame noodles are overly salty. The teriyaki chicken is salty. Bang Bang chicken is very salty. The rice helps a bit, but there is no relief to the amount of salt they used. Also, prices are very high. This order was $23.50 approximately, which is far above the average takeout plate in Seattle. If you like variety and customizations, this place is viable, but there are better places out there.

Cafe Turko was a nice little surprise in Fremont. We tried the Turkish coffee and pomegranate tea…read moreand both were really good, but honestly the staff might be the best part of the place. Super friendly, welcoming, and the kind of people who make you feel like you've been there before even when it's your first time. We didn't actually come hungry enough for a full meal, which I immediately regretted after looking around. The lentil soup is definitely happening next time, and then I saw the Beyti Kebab coming out of the kitchen... yeah, that basically settled it. So somehow we came in for Turkish coffee and tea and left planning an entire meal for our next visit. I haven't even tried the food yet and Cafe Turko already got me making dinner plans. Well played.

Appetizer portions are very small for the price (especially the dolmas) and the portions in general are very inconsistent (some items have huge portions for the price and some like the family platter we expected to be bigger). The pasta with yoghurt is not very flavorful I would skip and opt for another hummus instead. Presentation of the food is beautiful and the service is amazing, prompt and the servers do a great job so make sure to tip well. Desserts are not worth the price. The ambiance is great and feels authentic to turkey. Parking is street parking and can be difficult to find at dinner time so I would come early. Overall great place for a group or 3-5, I wouldn't reccomend this for a larger group.
